Netflix has confirmed the production of 'Slowly, Intensely' and announced the star-studded cast lineup. Song Hyekyo and Gong Yoo are confirmed to join the cast as the lead roles, along with Seolhyun, Cha Seungwon, and Honey Lee.
'Slowly, Intensely' began filming in January, and follows the intense stories of those who threw themselves into the fiercely competitive Korean entertainment industry during the brutal and violent 1960s-1980s, while dreaming of success.
'Slowly, Intensely' is a collaboration between the star writer Noh Heekyung and director Lee Yoonjung. This marks the third collaboration between Noh Heekyung and Song Hyekyo, following 'Worlds Within' and 'That Winter, the Wind Blows.' Meanwhile, Gong Yoo reunites with director Lee Yoonjung, whom he previously worked with on 'Coffee Prince.'
Previously, it was reported that the production company Studio Dragon had signed a contract with Netflix for the production of an original drama with a budget exceeding 75 billion KRW.
