I don't understand why they unnecessarily make the characters younger in this drama

'Love Scout'

Kang Jiyoon: Born in 1989

Yoo Eunho: Born in 1991

In the drama, the characters are portrayed as a self-made female CEO and a father whose daughter is in kindergarten. Their real-life ages (Born in 1982 and 1984) seem more fitting for the characters, so I don't understand why they made the characters younger in this drama.

-Actors just act, regardless of the character's age. How did you feel when older actors played the characters of high school students?

-They're actors. Chill out, seriously ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ If you want to see someone who's actually old, why don't you debut as an actor yourself?? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Well, do you even have the looks for it?

-They never mentioned their ages in the drama and there's nothing strange or uncomfortable as I watch it. Why are you making such a fuss over nothing?

-People who are actually enjoying the drama probably don’t even care about this.

-There's someone in my company who's born in 1991 and looks older than him.

-I was curious how much younger they made them, and 1991? What's wrong with youㅋㅋㅋ But Han Jimin was born in 1982?? She doesn't age.

-The character's ages are never mentioned in the drama. It isn't even important for the plot.

-What??ㅋㅋㅋ Do you think people born in 1989 or 1991 are in their late 20s?ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ They’re in their mid-to-late 30s;; It's common for actors to play roles with significant age differences.
