The standing section at Hanteo Music Awards descended into chaos

Since there are no designated areas, people are gathering towards the singer's seats.

Many singers are also worried, and some even expressed their concerns directly on stage. Yoon Do-hyun seemed quite angry while speaking...

theqoo

-What were they thinking not dividing the sections?

-Not dividing the standing section is a big mistake. It's frustrating how even though they keep telling people to move back, some fans aren't moving.

-The organizers are idiots...

-It's such a mess, even the singers seem really worried.

-They should have divided the sections. This is the first time I've seen something like this.

-The singers sitting there look so concerned. It's scaryㅠ Everyone, please watch the concert safely...ㅠㅠ

-Have they forgotten about the Itaewon tragedy..?

-Who came up with this layout? It's like a madman's idea.

-There are even over 1,000 people in Section A... It's surprising that there haven't been any accidents.

-Even if they divided the sections, people would still cluster together. Who's the lunatic who didn't divide the sections despite it being all standing?

-It's too dangerous, ㅜㅜ

-Who's the genius who divided the sections like that? If you divide it like that, it's a disaster waiting to happen...

-They should have divided the sections; if they just leave the standing area wide open like that, it's predictable that people will cluster together.

Fan shouting 'withdraw' after the end of ZB1's stage on Hanteo Music Awards.twt

Withdraw!!!! Withdraw!!!!! Please!!!!!!

theqoo

-I feel sorry for other members.

-Don't jump to conclusions too quickly... until forensic analysis and voice analysis come out.

-The pitch is different. I think it's likely synthesized, someone could be intentionally scheming to provoke the fans.

-It seems like we should analyze the voice.

-I can hear some sound, but regardless, it wasn't the fans. I don't know who said it.

-Since their agency is good at voice analysis, they should do it.

-Oh, I don't really know; we might need to analyze the voice to find out...?

-Screaming "withdraw" seems strange... Fans wouldn't say that ㅠㅠ!

-This might be a misunderstanding too.

-It sounds like staff voices ㅠㅠ

-Send it to the research institute that Kim Ji-woong commissioned ㅠㅠ

-The comments are hilariousㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-We need to see the results of the voice pitch analysis.

-Seems like this clip was manipulated~

-We need voice analysis to confirm if it's what the fans were saying. Besides, it might not be from their fans, right?

-They should release the full videoㅜ How do we know if it's edited?

-Tell them to release the CCTV footage

Skin tone is really important

I'm not kidding, my facial features look exactly like the person in the photo below, but my skin tone is different on the left, so I just feel like an ordinary poop emoji. When I was born, I wasn't like this, is there really no way to fix this... It's really stressful.

[+170][-28]

1. [+149][-11] Those with dark skin tones can radiate charm with dazzling facial features. However, those with dark skin tones and tofu-like facial features just looks like a genuine poop emoji.

2. [+106][-7] Seriously, people with tofu-like facial features looks better with fair skin, whether it's a man or a woman.

3. [+66][-5] Wow, the image really changes a lot.

4. [+65][-13] But even with a dark skin tone, with good styling, you can be quite attractive. Researching makeup techniques and clothing styles can help.

5. [+41][-5] I also stress over having a dark skin tone... No matter how much makeup I apply, that dullness just won't go away.

6. [+29][-5] The term "Tofu-Like" itself implies fair skin... Have you ever seen brown tofu? Except for soy tofu, of course.

7. [+25][-2] Skin color can't be changed with surgery. The maximum effect is only to revert to the genetically determined skin tone, and even that is difficult. However, there are often cases of exaggerating the effects for commercial purposes. Laser toning requires more than one or two sessions, sometimes over ten. But going for 10 sessions isn't something to be taken lightly. Moreover, it's quite expensive, and it only slightly brightens the complexion. Glutathione injections, also known as "white jade injections," lack sufficient research results to prove skin whitening effects. Originally, it's a shot used as a liver detoxifier. People with poor liver function have poor complexion, so getting glutathione injections makes them healthy, returning to their original skin tone. White tanning is a term used commercially only in Korea; in foreign countries, it's called red light therapy. It's just infrared therapy, stimulating skin regeneration to bring new skin cells to the surface. There's speculation that tanned skin can also regenerate, but there's no research proving that it can revert to the original skin tone. After all, it wasn't developed for the purpose of reverting skin color.

8. [+14][-12] With styling that suits you well, you can make your skin tone look attractive enough. There's no correct answer for skin tone; it has various charms.

The K-pop songs Cha Eun-woo was recently listening to while exercising.

[+244][-27]

1. [+90][-1] They're all his friends' songsㅋㅋ

2. [ +78][-1] It's his friends' songsㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ So cuteㅋㅋㅋㅋ

3. [+67][-1] It's fascinating how Girlfriend, Astro, and Seventeen seem to be all close to each other, maybe because they debuted around the same time.

4. [+64][-1] Jungkook and VIVIZ seem to be the same age as him or younger than him, so he addresses them comfortably. While Seventeen has older members, that's probably why he addresses them as 'Sunbaenim'? If you're a fan of ASTRO Astro, you would know their deep-rooted friendship with these groupsㅋㅋㅋ

5. [+39][-1] Since it's his friends' songs, I guess he listens to it every time he exercisesㅋㅋㅋㅋ It's cute

6. [+20][-] Cha Eun-woo, please do the "Pop Your Butt" Challenge

What is the most important requirement to survive as an idol?

1. Visual

2. Singing or Dancing Skills

3. Lyric and Song Composing Skills

4. Entertainment Skills

5. Money, Connections

theqoo

-Short-term 1, Long-term 4,5 but all except 3 should be the basics

-There are some who solely rely on visuals to make a living.

-I think 2 is the minimum, and if you have 1 as well, it's like the cherry on top.

-If you look at the idols who have been around for over 10 years, the ones with 2 seems to be the one that lasts the longest.

-4 Because they're singers, they'll keep singing and dancing, but to survive, you need entertainment talent so that you can be seen on TV often.

-You can survive with just 1, but I personally can't like someone without 2...

-For singers, it's 2; for the entertainment industry, it's 1.

-As an idol, it's 2; to have a long career as an entertainer, you need entertainment skills + acting skills.

-You need to sing well, not just dance. After all, because you're a singer.... it's probably okay to stick with visuals, talent, and dancing only until your early twenties.

-If you're going to keep being an idol, it's 2; 1 is for becoming an actor, model, or influencer, 3 is for becoming a producer, and 4 is for transitioning to a variety entertainer.

-Life as an entertainer is all about visuals. If you're an idol, that's your main job.

-Good-looking idols usually end up becoming actors/actresses, anyway...

-Definitely 1; everything else is just an option.

Actor who is expected to have the highest fee of 1 Billion KRW in South Korea

As "Squid Game" has gained tremendous popularity and worldwide fame, it was already speculated that the leading actors' fees would increase. In particular, since Lee Jung-jae is an indispensable key actor for "Squid Game" Season 2, whatever fee he demands must be justified. If Lee Jung-jae indeed receives over 1 billion won per episode, it would be the highest guarantee fee ever paid in South Korea.

This is seen as a tribute to Lee Jung-jae, who contributed significantly to the success of "Squid Game." According to an official from a broadcasting content production company, "Considering the financial strength of Netflix, which produced 'Squid Game,' Lee Jung-jae's appearance fee could exceed 1 billion won per episode. Given the global interest in 'Squid Game' and the perspective of 'this person deserves recognition,' it could be rationalized."

Paying 1 billion won per episode with domestic capital alone would be challenging. The official added, "If Lee Jung-jae is cast in a different project other than 'Squid Game' and sold overseas, it may not generate as much revenue as 'Squid Game.' For a six-part series, it would be 6 billion won. Casting him for 10 billion won per episode amid uncertainty about generating that level of profit poses a risk burden."

"Squid Game 2" reportedly includes incentives for the success of the first season, offered by the headquarters.

theqoo

-I understand even if he asks for more.

-It's understandable to receive that much for "Squid Game." It's still less compared to Hollywood actors.

-"Squid Game" is Netflix's all-time No.1... Considering the profits, that amount might be considered low. It's from the U.S. headquarters anyway.

-It's understandable if "Squid Game" actors receive even more. Now it's global Hollywood-level productions, not just Korean dramas. It shouldn't be compared to other local dramas.

-It's "Squid Game," after all.

-If he wasn't from South Korea, 1 billion won wouldn't mean anything... He would probably even receive double. He only received that much because he's a Korean actor.

-Considering how much money "Squid Game" made, it's understandable.

-It's "Squid Game," then what can you say? It's worth it.

-There are actors in Korea who receive 500 million, so 1 billion for "Squid Game" is actually considered cheap.

-"Squid Game" earned in the tens of billions...

-They should pay him more for this. How much did "Squid Game" make?

-Lee Jung-jae deserves it.

-"Squid Game" is an exception.

"Dance Challenge" Founder Zico Says He Receives a Lot of Resentment... Apologizes to Idols

On the evening of the 17th, MBC's variety show "Point of Omniscient Interference" aired its 286th episode, featuring Block B's Zico and Brian of "Fly to the Sky".

During the episode, Zico, the founder of the "Dance Challenge," revealed that he is receiving a lot of resentment. Since the "Dance Challenge," which started from Zico's "Any Song Challenge," has become an essential activity for promoting idol songs, idols are now obligated to film challenge videos in the waiting room during their breaks.

Zico expressed, "Even all singers must know each other's choreography," and apologized for this aspect, saying, "I would like to take this opportunity to apologize."

theqoo

-I'm tired of the challenges now, even though they were good...

-Zico, please make not doing the challenge a trend.

-I'm really tired of it now...

-Please make a trend of clapping while sitting on the couch and listening to your own songs instead of dancing challenges.

-It's not that I don't like the challenge itself, but I don't like them choosing choreography specifically for the challenge... Rather than modifying existing choreography easily for the challenge, I dislike them blatantly selecting choreography specifically for the challenge...

-It's not Zico's fault... it's the companies forcing forced challenge marketing that's the problemㅠㅠ Honestly, even viewers are tired of it now.

-It's not Zico's fault; it just accidentally became popular.

-The songs are getting repetitive.

-It doesn't seem necessary to apologize for something that Zico didn't force, wasn't it just because "Any Song Challenge" became popular that everyone else started making challenges? It doesn't seem like anyone's fault. Maybe everyone should just gradually stop when the challenge's popularity cools down like this.

-Let's just stop now.

-Rather than saying it became a trend because of Zico, it was already a global trend, and Zico was just the first to step in, being mistaken as the creator.

-Isn't it inevitable since TikTok is the trend?

theqoo

-If only the timing was right, it could've been an award-winning piece.

-Woah!!!!! Let's go for Season 2ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

-It's too short, I'm so disappointedㅠㅠㅠ The best drama I have ever watched in my life

-If only the timing was right, it could've been an award-winning piece.

-The biggest downside is that it's only 12 episodes longㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

-It's surprising how little buzz it generated.

-From start to finish, the directing and production were perfectㅠㅠㅠ

-It was super fun, from the first to the last episode, there wasn't a single disappointing moment, everything was perfect.

-Wow, but why wasn't there much buzz?

-If it were a 16-episode series, it would've surpassed 20%...

-The ending was done so well, I'm really happy with how it ended...

-It was really, really fun. It's a drama that anyone, regardless of age or genre preference, would enjoy. Try watching it once.

-The script was really good, neat, well-balanced, and meticulously built up. The drama's directing also matched well. It was so good.

-It's amazing. My friend said it was fun, so I watched it, and it was so enjoyable that I got hookedㅠㅠ I'm so disappointed that it's over. It's been so long since I've seen a drama this perfect.
