Devils Stay

Holy Night: Demon Hunters
An occult movie starring Ma Dongseok
-Ma Dongseok in an occult movie...??
-I'm more worried about the ghosts in the last movie
-I'm really looking forward to that occult movie starring Ma Dongseokㅋㅋㅋㅋ
-Ma Dongseok is gonna beat the hell out of that ghost's ass
-Park Shinhyang filmed that movie in 2020, but they're only releasing it now. I'm half worried and half excited about that movie.
-I'm really looking forward to Devils Stay
-The genre of the last movie is Ma Dongseok, not occult
-The last one is an action movie, not occult...
-Whoa... I thought they were not going to release Devils Stay...
-I'm really curious about Park Shinhyang and Ma Dongseok's moviesㅋㅋㅋㅋ But since I'm a scaredy-cat, I don't think I can watch them
-The description of the last movie is really funny... The movie is basically about Ma Dongseok starring in it.
-I think Devils Stay and Holy Night are going to be good...! The rest just seem too scary for me...
"What Article Did She See?" Han Sohee Deletes Comment Saying, "I Assumed Ryu Junyeol's Breakup Timing Based on an Article Posted in June June"
Earlier, Han Sohee wrote in her blog post, "They broke up in early 2023, and the news came out in November. Based on this fact, I confirmed my feelings and continued the relationship." The controversy arose over Han Sohee mentioning the timing of Ryu Junyeol and Hyeri's breakup which she claimed to have read on an article from June last year, as there were no reports of their breakup during that time. The only related articles from June last year were about Hyeri saying, "There are days when I don't receive a single message," which was later linked to her relationship with Ryu Junyeol.
It's speculated that Han Sohee inferred the timing of Ryu Junyeol and Hyeri's breakup from a scene in a variety show back in June last year. In response to the growing controversy, Han Sohee deleted the comment in question.
Netizens commented, "There was no breakup news in June last year," "I thought Ryu Junyeol personally told her if she said they broke up in early last year," "If it wasn't a breakup in early 2023, Hyeri must have been unfairly treated," and more. However, some defended Han Sohee, saying, "Let's not jump to conclusions," "She might have been confused," and so on.
-I mean... He's your boyfriend. If it bothers you that much, why don't you just go and ask him personally instead of making assumptions and responding to netizens' comments without even having a conversation with your boyfriend first? I really don't understand. Instead of posting a picture with a knife, she should've just talked with her boyfriend to sort things out first.
-Please, just stop, guys. You might kill someone with your words. This is their privacy that wasn't meant for public consumption. How far do you have to pry before you feel satisfied?
-Seriously, though. I'm not a fan of any of them, I don't even like any of them. But I sincerely hope Hyeri's company would quickly issue a statement about taking legal measures. I think her ex-boyfriend and his agency have already done this. I wonder why Hyeri's company is not doing anything? At this point, it's better if she changes her company.
-I couldn't care less about their love life. I just find her annoying for getting so emotional because of a guy.
-I can totally understand why she responds that way. It's because she feels wronged. But if she was going to mention someone else's private life like that, she should've carefully researched it first.
-Ryu Junyeol and Hyeri's breakup news came out in November last year, and Ryu Junyeol and Han Sohee started dating at the beginning of this year. So, she didn't steal Ryu Junyeol from Hyeri.
-I don't understand what Hyeri did wrong...
-So, he broke up with Hyeri in November last year and started dating Han Sohee at the beginning of this year...
-She should've just let her company handle this matter...
-I don't understand why this became so chaotic. If only Hyeri hadn't posted that and unfollowed Ryu Junyeol on Instagram, there wouldn't have been talk of Han Sohee stealing him from her. This could've just quietly passed. It's regrettable that Han Sohee responded too emotionally, but if she hadn't responded, she would've continued receiving hate comments. And I don't know what Ryu Junyeol did wrong here. Hyeri posted on Instagram and Han Sohee responded to it, but it's not like Ryu Junyeol told her to.
Jennie Reveals She Always Splits the Bill with Her Friends
YJS: Jennie, you treat people a lot now right?
Jennie: I try to. But it's not as easy as I thought. Being the youngest and all, wherever I go, every time I try to treat my friends, they're just like... 'We're friends' (gestures). They won't let me buy them food.
YSC: What's with your friends? Who are they? Are they world-class of the world-class?
YJS: Is your friend someone like Ariana Grande?
Jennie: No... Just my friends of the same age in Korea
YJS: But they won't let you buy them food?
Jennie: Actually, I think it's because we're friends
CTH: So you just split the bill?
Jennie: Yes
YJS: The thing is, they won't let you buy them food even if you try to because they want you to treat them as friends.
Her friends probably say, 'What kind of freelancer buys her friends food?'
-I mean... If I were her friend, it would feel burdensome to have her buy me foodㅋㅋㅋㅋ It's probably her friends' way of maintaining their relationship with her. Her friends seem really cool.
-Are her friends named Lisa and Rosé?
-It's probably because her friends are idols, actors, models, etcㅋㅋㅋㅋ
-I have a celebrity friend who, even though not as popular as Jennie, is quite popular. However, I don't want to take advantage of her. Unless it's a special occasion, we always split the bills. Regardless of my income, I just don't want money to be involved in my friendship...? Well, I do love it when they give me gifts, though.
-Even from the perspective of someone who gets treated, it feels awkward to only keep receivingㅋㅋㅋㅋ Splitting the bill is way more comfortable.
-When I was still looking for job, it was uncomfortable for me when my employed friends paid for everything. Ironically, I felt less inclined to hang out with them because of that. That's why I understand what her friends feel. It's about wanting to be equal, I guess. They're friends anyway.
-Isn't it strange if you're always the one who receives? If there's only two of you, one can pay for the meal and the other one can pay for the dessert. But if you hang out as a group, splitting the bill is the best.
-That's also probably why they're friends in the first place.
-Wow... If my friend was Jennie, I'd probably let her buy me food every time. It seems like her friends are really good people.
-To be Jennie's friends, they're probably around her level... So they must be making a lot of money as well.
-If I were her friend, I'd treat her even better because I don't want to lose her as a friend...ㅋㅋㅋ
-Income isn't the issue here...ㅋㅋㅋ Just because someone earns more, doesn't mean they always have to pay for her friends' meals. From her friends' perspective, she's just another regular friend. So there's no reason to make her pay for their meals, right...?
-Exactly, if they're really her friends, they wouldn't expect her to always pay just because she earns more than them.
-Seems like her friends are all doing well financially.

The Drama That Surprisingly Has Lower Ratings Compared to the Buzz it Generated
My Liberation Notes
April 9, 2022 - May 29, 2022
Highest Nationwide Rating: 6.728%
-But still, it's one of the best dramas I have ever watched in my entire lifeㅠㅠ
-But still, the ratings were actually not that bad...
-Hul... I thought the ratings of this drama surpassed 10%
-I really enjoyed watching this drama. The cast lineup was really good.
-It's decent. It did well because it's on OTT platform.
-I watched this drama after it finished airing on TVㅜㅜ Truly the best drama I have ever watched in my life. I love it.
-The ratings were lower than I expected. Well, I didn't watch it because it's not my cup of tea, though.
-Was this drama even viral...?
-This drama only went viral because of Son Suk-ku
-I just finished watching this drama not too long agoㅋㅋㅋ I really enjoyed it
-To be honest, it wasn't even that viral back then...
-It was boring. All I could remember about this drama was Soju bottles and ice cream.
-Instead, it stayed on Netflix's Top 10 for quite a long time
-The fact is, only Son Suk-ku went viral when this drama aired.
-Hul... I really enjoyed watching this drama...
-I think it's because it was also released on Netflix at the same time. Most people tend to watch it on Netflix instead of TV...
Does Hyeri, Who Stirred Controversy with Her Remarks about Ryu Junyeol and Han Sohee, Find This Amusing?
On the 15th, Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee were engulfed in dating rumors, claiming they were enjoying a trip together in Hawaii with friends. A Japanese influencer posted about two top Korean actors being on a trip to Hawaii. While both agencies acknowledged the actors' trip to Hawaii, they cautiously stated it was 'personal life.'
The news turned into controversy after Hyeri posted a photo with the caption 'Interesting' on her Instagram account. Though the subject and object were omitted, it was enough to make viewers believe the targets were Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee. Public perception of Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee's dating rumors drastically changed. This was because Ryu Jun-yeol and Hyeri did not disclose specific reasons and timing of their breakup, both actors avoided an official response regarding the dating rumors, and Hyeri unfollowed Ryu Jun-yeol on social media. Hyeri's short but impactful comment attracted even more attention. Additionally, regarding Hyeri's statement, her agency avoided providing additional explanations about her intentions or reasons.
Eventually, Han So-hee also expressed her feelings on social media. She posted a picture of a dog standing with a knife stuck in the ground, with the caption 'Explain this situation right now.' Additionally, she stated, 'I don't like someone who has a lover, nor do I give room under the name of a friend, nor do I show interest, nor do I interfere with other's relationships. I like watching 'Transit Love', but it will never take place in my life. I find it fun as well.'
Despite the criticism, Han So-hee continued with her explanation, posting a lengthy heartfelt message on her blog the next day. She admitted to her relationship with Ryu Jun-yeol while clarifying that Hyeri and Ryu Jun-yeol's breakup was in early last year, and they became a couple at the beginning of this year. Subsequently, on the same day, Ryu Jun-yeol's agency officially acknowledged his relationship with Han So-hee and outlined plans to address baseless and indiscriminate hate comments.
No explanation seems to suffice. It all started with Hyeri's casual remark of 'interesting.' Even if it was just a light comment that wasn't aimed at Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee, if it was indeed an expression of discomfort about her ex-boyfriend's new relationship, it leaves a feeling of discomfort rather than satisfaction. Even though it wasn't an official confirmation of the dating rumors, her single word sparked controversy, and both her agency and Hyeri chose silence rather than explanations or justifications. Of course, since there were no subjects or objects, they might not have felt responsible.
-Oh Gosh... Please just stop.
-If the whole situation was the other way around; Hyeri got herself a new boyfriend and Ryu posted a picture with the caption that says 'It's interesting', I'm sure Ryu will receive critics as if he was a criminalㅋㅋㅋ For your information, I don't like Ryu, but I feel sorry for him this time.
-The ones at fault here are the people who jump to conclusions just from reading two words: 'It's interesting'.
-Why are you doing this to Hyeri, damn it...
-That's so stupid. What did Hyeri do?ㅋㅋㅋ The ones who make assumptions are netizens and reporters, why should Hyeri be blamed for what's going on right now? That's just so stupidㅋㅋㅋ What if the thing she finds 'interesting' is her trip?ㅋㅋ
-Whatever... Ryu Junyeol is the one at fault here.
-Well, it's true that Hyeri threw bait to netizens...
-I hope Hyeri will take legal action as well~~
-What did Hyeri do wrong?? Netizens are the ones who make assumptions as they wish...
-Han Sohee is the most pitiful one here...
-Why should Hyeri clarify the whole situation?? Netizens are so freaking nosy... They could've just minded their own business. Just think about it, who turned the whole thing into a big deal?? Was it Hyeri or netizens?
-At this point, shouldn't Hyeri release a clarification as well??
-It would've been so much better if Hyeri clarified what she meant in that post...
-Han Sohee is the most pitiful one here. All she did was start a new relationship.
-I mean... That's indeed very cheap of Hyeri, but the haters are the ones at fault here...
-I seriously don't understand why people are hating on Han Sohee...
