"Selective social anxiety?"
According to an official from the Mapo District Resident Welfare Facility, Song Mino's reason for medical leave was social anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and bipolar disorder.
Manager A from the public service facility told Dispatch, "Song Mino is afraid of crowded places. He was assigned to a place where he wouldn't be easily seen by people.
However, photos obtained by Dispatch tell a different story. Song Mino was seen enjoying camping and partying in Goseong and Yangyang, Gangwon Province.
In August 2023, Song Mino attended a DJ party held at a popular cafe in Goseong, Gangwon Province. At the time, he was working in the parking department of Mapo Facilities Management Corporation.
Song Minho’s hobbies appeared highly social. He maintained his long hair throughout his service. He was spotted roaming the party venue with no shirt on.
What caught the most attention were his tattoos. "Right Posture" was inked on his left shoulder blade, "Clear Mind" on his right, and "PLAY BY" across his waist.
A party attendee told Dispatch, "Song Minho drank alcohol and smoked while enjoying the party." There were no signs of social anxiety or panic disorder.
His selective social anxiety was also apparent in his hobbies. It has been reported that has been focusing on fitness ahead of his discharge by joining a 'running crew.' A member of the running crew sent an email to Dispatch saying, "Song Mino participates in group marathons with us. Recently, he even attempted a 20km run. He’s lost a lot of weight."
In fact, Song Mino is actively preparing for his comeback. A representative from the "resident welfare facility" revealed, "Song Mino is losing weight through running and building his body through personal training."
Meanwhile, the allegations of Song Mino's neglect of duty have been handed over to the police. On the 23rd, the Military Manpower Administration requested an investigation at the Mapo Police Station. Song Mino is currently listed as a suspect.
The police are expected to investigate the allegations of neglect of duty based on evidence such as CCTV footage, entry and exit records, game log records, cell phone location tracking, and statements from facility staff.

-He should just quit being a celebrity altogether.
-Doesn’t he feel sorry for people who take medication and struggle with social anxiety or panic disorders but still work hard to earn a living? Some people can't breathe, feel nauseous, panic, and yet force themselves to pull through and go to work.
-It’s not like he was doing well at work and only missed work when it got severe. He slacked off the entire time but seemed fine on days like this.
-They said he couldn't even go to the post office during his public service because of his social phobia. Is he really in such a state that he can't even handle post office work? If he can't even go to the post office, how does he function as a celebrity?
-Most people have no choice but to work even if they don’t feel like it. He’s the opposite.
-I'm amazed by how thoughtlessly he behaves. If he's going to go around partying like a social butterfly, then he should have done his public service diligently. Or if he's going to slack off on his public service, he should've just stayed home and don’t cause a scene. He’s had it too easy… He should re-enlist for active duty already.
-Ordinary people with mental illnesses still ride the hellish subway commute every day for workㅋㅋ
-Just serve active duty and retire from the industry.
-Regardless the military service, he's crossing the lines. He claims to be sick, skips tasks at work, but acts like this outside his workplace? How does that make sense?ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
-Worrying about celebrities is so useless.......
-This is why people with genuine panic disorders face prejudiceㅠㅠ I'm not saying that he shouldn't hang out and have funㅜㅠ I'm just saying that he should at least get his work done first before hanging out and having fun.
-A social butterfly with 'selective' social phobia and panic disorder.
-Because of him, the public service workers in my company are all undergoing performance reviews. Even medical visits are being rechecked........ Seriously, what is this?
-Re-enlist.
-Not everyone who is mentally ill neglects their responsibilities and goes out partying like him. It seems like he's just using his mental illness as an excuse. If he was really working hard and doing this during their vacation, it would be one thing, but this is just too irresponsible.
