Why do romance dramas get boring once the couple finally gets together?

Why do romance dramas get boring once the couple finally gets together? Seriously, though... Every time I watch a drama, I clutch my chest and go, "You two, just date already!" But once they actually start dating, I'm like, "Hm. Boring," and lose interest. Even if it's not a romance drama, when a conflict isn't resolved, I'm like, "Pleaseㅜㅜ Just let them live happily," but once it's resolved, I'm like, "Hm. I guess life needs hardships after all," and I get bored again. Ugh. What should I watch?

This must be why I’m obsessed with love that can’t be fulfilled.

Ah, that’s totally me. I’m like this even when reading romance fantasy novels.

COMMENTS:

-It's like the story is no longer special and becomes predictable. I'm just not curious anymore.

-That is exactly why I don't watch the endings.

-I'm exactly like that... That's why there aren't many shows I've watched until the end.

-Hul... I actually like it more when they start dating, understand each other better, and feel secure... Oxytocin > Dopamineㅠㅠ

-This must be why I always root for the second male lead thenㅋㅋ

-Once they get together, everything just becomes predictable.

-I guess this is why I can't finish watching rom-coms...

-Once they get together, their individual characters kinda disappear, so it gets boring... They just somehow feel less like individuals and more like in 'their own little world.'

-Not me, though.

-It feels like 'quest completed.' I feel like I've seen everything I needed to see.

-But people go crazy if they don't get together and it's an open ending, right??

-It’s because there’s nothing left to be curious about.

-Please, just don’t date.

-Sometimes this makes me think… Maybe that’s why my life is full of hardshipsㅋㅋ If I were only happy, the Creator watching over me would get bored.

-Right. The talking stage is the most fun. Once they become official, my excitement fades.

'Allegations of dating an underage' Kim Soohyun begins his comeback to the broadcasting industry ... "High possibility it's true"

SOURCE: '미성년 교제 의혹' 김수현, 방송계 복귀 시동 걸었다…"사실일 가능성 높아"

Kim Soohyun, who was involved in a controversy over allegations that he dated the late Kim Saeron when she was underage, is preparing to make a comeback. On the 28th, Disney+ announced that they are adjusting the release schedule of original series 'Knock Off.'

On the same day, Kim Soohyun's legal representative, lawyer Ko Sangrok, posted on his account, "There is a high possibility that it is true," carefully predicting the possibility of Kim Soohyun's return. He added, "If serious criminal acts by the perpetrators are revealed through an extended investigation, Disney+'s risk will officially be cleared. In that case, there will be no more reason to delay the release of 'Knock Off.'"

'Knock Off,' starring Kim Soohyun and Jo Boah, is a major Disney+ project with a production cost of 60 billion KRW. The series was originally scheduled for release in April, but after Kim Soohyun's controversy erupted in March last year, production was stopped and the release was postponed indefinitely.

Upon hearing the news, netizens reacted with comments such as, "Clear your name and come back soon," "I want to watch 'Knock Off' soon," and "If he's guilty, he should be punished. If he is not, he should be compensated." However, others showed negative reactions, saying, "Isn't it to early?" and "The controversy hasn't even died down yet, and he's already returning?"

Earlier last year, Kim Soohyun was involved in a controversy over allegations that he dated Kim Saeron when she was underage. He initially denied the claims, but as her family continued to release evidence, he partially admitted to the relationship, stating that they dated only after she became an adult. In March, he held a press conference claiming that the messages released by Kim Saeron's family were fabricated and filed a 12 billion KRW lawsuits against her family and Kim Se-ui. During this time, the release of 'Knock Off' was put on hold and Kim Soohyun faced legal action a cosmetic brand A, for which he had worked as an advertising model, filed a 800 million KRW damages lawsuit against him.

1 [+364][-151] I guess being a celebrity really isn't for just anyone ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

2. [+333][-170] This isn’t right.

3. [+116][-21] The heaedline is completely different from the actual content… How pathetic. I hope the reporter and malicious commenters who are causing secondary harm to the victim get exactly what they deserve. They’re still sitting at home without even checking the updates, financial consequences are the answer. Since he did nothing wrong, 'Knock Off' should of course be released.

4. [+94][-32] Of course he should return. He’s the victim.

5. [+84][-20] The perpetrators must pay for their crimes, and Kim Soohyun should obviously make his comeback.

2. Who is the second most 'NewJeans' member?

Minji: 37% (3187 votes)
Hanni: 18% (1606 votes)
Danielle: 3% (303 votes)
Haerin: 16% (1445 votes)
Hyein: 23% (1970 votes)

I'm sharing this because I find this interesting. This is not a popularity vote, so please avoid leaving mean commentsㅠㅠ

COMMENTS

-I think it's totally Minjiㅋㅋ

-All five of them!! I want to see them again soon.

-I also think it's Minjiㅋㅋㅋ I really want to see NewJeans soon.

-I personally like Hanni the most and think she's the most charming, but when someone asks me this, Minji is the first one to come to my mind.

-I like Haerin the most, but if I had voted on this, I probably would've picked Minjiㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-Minji... She stood out the most from the very first time I saw them. I miss NewJeansㅠㅠ

-I think Hyein definitely stood out the most during 'Attention' era!

-I thought of Minji first too, then Haerin.

-Their debut with 'Attention' was a huge shock... Minji, Hyein, and Haerin were the ones that left deep impressions on me. But honestly, think all of the members are the 'identity' of NewJeans. It changes depending on the song.

-Oh... I thought of Hanni. She's so unique that when I think of NewJeans, Hanni is the first I can think of. For Minji, I think she's the center of the group.

-I also think of Minji first when I think of NewJeans.

-If I had to pick just one, it's Minji. But the chemistry of all five members is really great.

-All five of them are amazing and charming, but Minji is the first one I think of.

-There's a reason why people say, 'NewJeans doesn't have a leader, but they have Minji.'

-Minji's face is the first one you see in the 'Attention' MV, so I think it's Minji.

'COVID-19 vaccine closely linked to death from heart attack'

SOURCE: [단독] "코로나 백신, 심근경색 사망과 밀접" 첫 인정

(Anchor)

A court has issued its first ruling recognizing a link between COVID-19 vaccination and death from myocardial infarction. So far, only a very small number of deaths reported have been recognized as having a causal relationship. The public is now watching closely to see if this ruling will have broader impact.

(Reporter)

A, whose husband was a father of three and a 23-year career civil servant, says she still vividly remembers what he said.

A: He asked me, 'Is it okay to get the vaccine?' It was a situation where he had no choice but to get it.

Her husband, who was in a priority group for the vaccine, received a COVID-19 vaccine in June 2021 and passed away ten days later.

A: He was vomiting and collapsed in front of the bathroom. We kept performing CPR, but he couldn't recover and his heart stopped.

The cause of A's husband's death was acute myocardial infarction. The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) refused to pay compensation, stating that he likely died due to underlying conditions such as high cholesterol. His death was also not recognized as a death in the line of duty.

A: He got the vaccine because the country told him to, and he just worked after getting the shot... That's why we started a lawsuit against the KDCA.

After more than two years, the Seoul Administrative Court ruled in favor of A. This is the first time a causal link has been recognized for an acute myocardial infarction, moving beyond the four main side effects like myocarditis and pericarditis. The court judged that there was a close timing between the shot and the death, and it was difficult to conclude that he died from another cause. The court decided it is not medically impossible to conclude that the vaccine caused the death.

Lawyer Joo Sehyung: If it can't be clearly proven whether the heart attack is more likely to be caused by the high cholesterol or by the vaccine, then it is possible to acknowledge the link to the vaccine.

This ruling seems to reflect the purpose of the 'Special Act on Compensation for COVID-19 Vaccine Damage,' which was implemented in October last year. This law was created amid criticism that while the government encouraged the entire population to get vaccinated, it recognized causal links to subsequent illnesses too narrowly. However, the KDCA has appealed the decision, arguing there is still room for legal dispute as this is the first time causality for myocardial infarction has been acknowledged. Out of 2,643 reported deaths following COVID-19 vaccination, only 27 cases (about 1%) have been officially recognized as being caused by the vaccine.

COMMENTS:

-If he hadn’t gotten the vaccine, he probably would’ve died from catching COVIDㅠㅠㅋㅋㅋ

-Every vaccine has side effects. Anti-vaxxers aren't going crazy over this, right? They're not going to say something ignorant, right?

-My heart was racing and I felt weird for a few days too, so I kept walking around with my hand on my chest...

-All vaccines have side effects. In fact, not just vaccines, but all medications do.

-There's no such thing as a vaccine with no side effects. Of course, it's unfortunate that some people suffered from side effects or even passed away because of itㅠ

-You do know that more people died from COVID itself, right?

-I guess I'm super healthy then. I got all the shots but I didn't feel any side effects at all.

-If you hadn’t gotten vaccinated, you might not even be alive to leave these comments What meds in the world has zero side effects?
