A clip from G-Dragon's fan meeting is becoming a hot topic online.

While G-Dragon met fans through a fan meeting held from the 6th to the 8th, his answers during a Q&A segment at the event are drawing attention.

In the video, a fan asked, "If the delivery fee is 5,000 KRW, would you still want to order?", to which he replied, "Yes." When asked, "Have you ever been to Daiso," he answered, "No," drawing attention for his honesty.

Netizens are reacting to this humorously, saying things like, "If Kwon Jiyong goes to Daiso, the items there might sell out even faster than usual," "To Kwon Jiyong, department stores are basically like Daiso to him," "Then where does he buy his towels?" and "He seems like the type of person who'd still make an order even if the delivery fee was more expensive. What would he even buy at Daiso, where the most expensive item is 5,000 KRW?"

Along with this, a past scene from the variety show 'Infinite Challenge' has gained attention once again. At the time, G-Dragon admitted, "I've never been to Dongmyo Market." Jung Hyungdon then suggested, "Let's take him there," while Defconn joked, "I kinda disagree. If he gets a taste of that place, he's gonna buy the whole market," drawing laughter.

Recalling this scene, netizens added to the playful mood by saying, "If Kwon Jiyong goes to Daiso, he's gonna buy the whole store."

Meanwhile, G-Dragon spend special time with fans by holding the fan meeting '2026 G-DRAGON 'FAM' MEETING [FAM+ILY : FAMILY : FAM I LOVE YOU]' from the 6th to the 8th at KSPO Dome in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul.

'Drug offender' T.O.P said he was retiring ... Now making a solo comeback with Nana

SOURCE: '마약사범' 탑, 은퇴한다더니…나나 손잡고 솔로가수 컴백까지[종합]

T.O.P (Choi Seunghyun), who was convicted on drug charges, is returning to the music industry, breaking his past promise that he wouldn't make a comeback.

T.O.P is currently preparing a new solo song with the goal of releasing it in the first half of the year. Previously on November 29, 2024, when a fan asked, "DOOM DADA 2.0 WHEN?" he replied, "2025." This means that his solo comeback is a bit later than planned.

Singer and actress Nana will appear in the MV for the new song. Regarding this, Nana's agency, Sublime, told Newsen on the 9th, "She will be appearing in T.O.P's new MV."

This new song will be T.O.P's first solo release in about 13 years. His last solo release was the album 'DOOM DADA,' released in November 2013.

This is also his first solo song since his marijuana controversy. T.O.P debuted in 2006 as a member of BIGBANG alongside G-Dragon, Taeyang, Daesung, and Seungri, releasing numerous hit songs as a group, sub-unit, and solo artist. In February 2017, he enlisted as a conscripted police officer and appeared to be serving diligently. Later, it was revealed that he had smoked marijuana at his home in 2016 prior to his enlistment, leading to a controversy. In July 2017, he was sentenced to 10 months in prison with a two-year suspended sentence, becoming a convicted offender.

After the drug scandal, he did not completely stop all his music activities. Even after his guilty verdict, while still under YG Ent., he participated in the recording and MV of BIGBANG's digital single 'Still Life' released in April 2022. However, on May 31, 2023, he officially confirmed that he was no longer part of the group as he responded to a fan's question, saying, "I already said that I left BIGBANG. I'm facing a new chapter in my life."

After leaving BIGBANG he has focused on acting and liquor business. After starring in movies like 'Commitment' (2013), 'Tazza: The Hidden Card' (2014), and web drama 'Secret Message' (2015), he resumed his acting career after 9 years by starring in 'Squid Game' Season 2, released on Netflix on December 26, 2024. His first official public appearance in South Korea after the drug controversy was at the 'Squid Game' Season 3 finale event held in Seoul last June.

Given that there are many talented actors who follow the law, questions arose as to why 'Squid Game' director Hwang Donghyuk chose to cast an actor with a drug record. At a press conference, Director Hwang explained, "I cast the actor I believed was most suitable for the role, or discovered them through auditions. I followed that principle for this project as well."

Director Hwang added, "In Choi Seunghyun's case, by the time we decided to cast him, quite a lot of time had passed. The sentence had already been finished and the probation period had already ended. I thought that enough time had passed for him to start working again. Although it became controversial, I had already gone through a long process with him. I decided the only option was to show reporters and viewers through the final result why I had to work with him on this project."

He added, "I personally think that once you watch the result, you'll understand that this was not an easy decision for us. It likely wasn't an easy choice for Choi Seunghyun either. Please wait a little longer and make your judgment again once the work is released."

With his appearance in 'Squid Game' and now a solo comeback, T.O.P's previous hints at retirement have become meaningless. In October 2019, when a netizen commented, "Reflect on yourself and don't ever comeback," T.O.P replied, "Yes! Oh God! I have no intention of doing so either."

TOP COMMENTS:

1. [+127][-6] They kind of a perfect match since both of them are full of bluffing.

2. [+72][-4] If he was going to act like this, why did he say he was retiring as if he had no regrets? Those remarks he said in the heat of anger is going to follow him like a tag for the rest of his life now.

3. [+52][-0] ??? Don’t worry, he’s not doing music in South Korea.

4. [+19][-2] Because of him, now I know what drug-user eyes look like.

5. [+16][-4] He can’t rap for shit, and his voice isn’t even suited for singing, so what exactly is he trying to do?

2. [+646][-12] He was handsome when he was a kid, though...

3. [+571][-24] His face is way too big… He’s not considered handsome by today’s standards.

4. [+98][-3] There are four photos, but he looks either startled or tense in all of them. Why does he look like someone who's a bit slow?

5. [+84][-1] Am I the only one who finds this funny?ㅠ These pictures seem to be from different scenes, but his facial expression is exactly the same in all of themㅠㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Song Mino's 'negligent duties' trial suddenly delayed at his own request

SOURCE: [단독]송민호 '부실 복무' 재판 돌연 연기…직접 미뤘다

The trial for Song Mino who is accused of violating the Military Service Act, has been suddenly postponed.

According to Star News, the Seoul Western District Court had been scheduled to hold the first trial hearing for Song Mino and his supervisor, Mr. A, on March 24. However, the court accepted the defendants' request to postpone the trial on the 5th, pushing the date back by about a month. the new date for the trial is now set for April 21.

Previously, on December 30, 2025, the Criminal Division 1 of the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office indicted the two without detention on charges of violating the Military Service Act. Song Mino is accused of leaving his assigned workplace unauthorized and neglecting his duties and attendance while serving as a public service worker at a facility in Mapo-gu, Seoul, from March 2023 to December 2024. Mr. A is accused of failing to supervise him despite knowing about Song Mino's poor work performance. Notably, it was reported that Song Mino was transferred to the same facility just one month after Mr. A moved there.

Prosecutors secured evidence through phone forensics and GPS records and conducted investigations. During this process, they confirmed that Song Mino had additional unexcused absences. The prosecution stated, "We will do our best so that they receive a punishment accordingly to the crimes."

Song Mino received a Grade 4 classification during his military physical examination and served his military duty as a public service worker at the Mapo Facilities Management Corporation starting in March 2023, before transferring to the Mapo Community Welfare Facility in March 2024. However, just before his discharge, suspicions of negligent service arose due to frequent sick leave and poor attendance. It has been reported that Song Mino has been receiving treatment for panic disorder and bipolar disorder.

Song Mino was discharged from the military service on December 23, 2024, but later faced allegations of failing to show up for work properly during his time as a public service worker. As a result, on January 23, 2025t, the Mapo Police Station summoned him for investigation on charges of violating the Military Service Act. At the time, Song Mino explained regarding the allegations and stated that he "followed the regulations" and that "there were no problems." However, after three rounds of investigation, it was revealed that he admitted to most of the negligent service and leaving his workplace. This has led to questions about whether he would be required to serve again.

Eventually, the Military Manpower Administration requested a police investigation. The police conducted search and seizure operations at the Mapo Community Welfare Facility where Song Mino worked, as well as his residence. They secured CCTV footage and analyzed his commuting times. The Military Manpower Administration stated, "If the investigation proves negligent service, we plan to revoke his discharge and require him to serve again for the period during which he didn't fulfill his duties." The Military Manpower Administration also announced plans to strengthen management of public service workers by introducing electronic methods to track the attendance.

An official from the National Police Agency explained at a press conference held in Seoul, "We questioned Song Mino on three occasions, conducted search and seizure, and communication investigations. We will decide on the charges based on the materials we have obtained. Song Mino has admitted to leaving his workplace during work hours."

Regarding this, lawyer Kim Kangho from Roel Law firm appeared on a radio show and stated, "The penalties may vary depending on how many days Song Mino was absent. However, under the Military Service Act, leaving service can lead to up 3 years in person. Meanwhile being late or leaving early can lead to up to 1 year in prison. Some people say Song Mino should re-enlist as an active-duty soldier, but since he has already completed his service, this is not possible under the current military law."

Following his controversy, in May 2025 YG Ent. officially announced that WINNER would make a comeback with three members, excluding Song Mino from the group. The outrage was further fueled as his fellow member Kang Seungyoon completed his active-duty military service around the same time, which is contrast to Song Mino's situation.

TOP COMMENTS:

1. [+225][-2] If he still has shame, he should go back to the military, serve properly, and never even come near the broadcasting industry again.

2. [+168][-0] What did he do to deserve a postponement.....?

3. [+105][-3] What did WINNER do wrong? This one guy completely ruined everythingㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

4. [+14][-0] A typical trick to buy more time.

5. [+14][-0] PSY served twice. I'm not sure if the investigation will be done properly this time.
