Hate Comments Targeting LE SSERAFIM are Crossing the Lines

Honestly, the entire online community and media were trying to crucify LE SSERAFIM to the point I was worried that the members thinking of taking 'extreme choices'. People kept mentioning the ex-member who got swept up in school bully controversy, saying that she should've disciplined Hong Eunchae instead. Some even suggested LE SSERAFIM to be banned from entering the country like they're some criminals.

While not directly exhibited, there are all sorts of comments beyond criticism on the skills in LE SSERAFIM's videos, ranging from ridicule to personal attacks, assaults, and even threats.

Such extreme comments are not just a few; there are tons of them.

Moreover, not only the members' Instagram accounts but also today's live comments during their arrival are filled with malicious comments.

Is this really acceptable to justify that "If you can't sing, you deserve to be criticized"?

Even international fans agree that the comments LE SSERAFIM has been receiving are crossing the lines. Some of them even start to discourage their own fandoms from bullying LE SSERAFIM excessively.

I hope people will learn that criticism and /// condemnation, ridicule, and personal attacks are different things.

-It's really severe.

-Seriously, even though I agree that they can't sing, the criticism and ridicule have gone too far. This makes me want to support them...

-The hate comments have already crossed the line from the start...

-Sigh... Why are people so angry? They seem to be overly obsessed...

-Those hate commenters are probably going to get sued soon. So stupid.

-Seriously, it's really too much.

-Exactly

-It's ridiculous how they get more hate for not being able to sing than actual criminals do. I've seen so many hateful comments that I'm just going to support them from now on without saying anything.

-Singers can be bad at singing, why criticize so harshly?

-They weren't good, that's fact, but they didn't deserve all this hate.

-The mockery is too much... At this point, it's not criticism, it's just hateful comments.

-Even criminals don't get that much hate.

-It's so severe... It's not like they were caught doing drugs or killing someone.

-The constant criticism has been really sickening.

-Honestly, I was scared to take sides because it seemed like I would be attacked, even though I'm not a fan. Before being a singer, they're people,. , The comments were too harsh.

-Seems like they got more hate than criminal offenders.

-People are just mindlessly leaving hate comments... I don't even know what they're angry about. If you don't like the music, just stop listening, right?

A Korean Fansite Master Arrested for Trespassing into the Dressing Room of K-Arena Yokohama

On the 14th, Kanagawa Police arrested a Korean on suspicion of breaking into the dressing room of K-Arena Yokohama in Nishi-ku, Yokohama. The person arrested denies the allegations, saying that they were only looking for a lost ticket.

According to the arrest warrant, she unlawfully entered the dressing room without a valid reason around 10:25 PM on the 14th. On that day, there was a music event at the facility featuring artists from Japan and Korea. After the event ended, a staff spotted a woman wearing a staff T-shirt in the dressing room. Suspicious of her not wearing a staff ID, the staff approached her, but she fled. The woman claims she wasn't a staff member of the event and says that she 'found' the T-shirt.

theqoo

-Her age and name got exposed, damn...

-Wow... She was already a fansite master when I was a Kpop fan 10 years ago. She still hasn't changed at all.

-Wow... I used to like the pictures she takes. What's this? Ugh...

-The original article is kind enough to expose her identityㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-That's impressive. People like her should be arrested so that other fans wouldn't do the same.

-She's 37, for God's sake... Is she currently detained in Japan now?ㅋㅋㅋ

-Wow... That's admirable, but not in a good way.

-She must be really richㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-Crazy... She's the one behind Eyes, Nose, Lips??

-She 'found' a staff T-shirt??ㅋㅋㅋㅋ What a mess

-How did she even get the staff T-shirt?

-If she lost her ticket, when should be looking for it in the venue. Why did she look for it in the dressing room? What a nonsense excuse.

-Looking at her age, it looks like she has been a fan since at least the 2nd Gen, right?

-Going crazy over idols and getting detained in a foreign country...

The Choreography Controversy That Arose at the Time of ILLIT's Debut

Many people thought that ILLIT did not only copy New Jeans' choreography but also LE SSERAFIM and Fromis9. So, some believed that it might not just be an homage.

(I didn't post this to criticize, but because there was a mention of choreography in Audor's statement.)

-At this point, I think they did this with the intention of noise marketing

-Their concept and songs are just way too similar, I thought they were intentionally made that way with consent. But apparently, I was wrong.

-HYBE should just apologize...ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-If someone copied the work I did, I would feel really terrible. I hope they resolve this matter peacefully.

-Isn't this kind of thing very common?

-How can it be an homage if ADOR didn't give their consent to it? It's plain plagiarismㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-Who made ILLIT's choreography?

-Why do HYBE's girl groups always seem to come up with homages...?

-I thought ILLIT included choreography from those groups to show that they're a group under HYBE. But it seems like they didn't seek approval from those groups first before using their choreography.

-All those works are from HYBE, so how can they be considered as homage or plagiarism?ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-This wasn't even the main issue of the controversy...

-Homage should feel like a sign of respect, not plagiarism...

-So, ADOR got backstabbed?

I Looked Up New Jeans' and ILLIT's Concept Photos Out of Curiosity

The top 4 pictures are New Jeans' while the bottom 4 pictures are ILLIT's.

I'm not familiar with both groups and I just searched their concept photos on Google. Personally, I understand why some people think they have similar concept and also why some don't see the resemblance.

-It's understandable for one to two groups under the same company to have similar vibes...

-When I first saw ILLIT's album cover, I thought they were New Jeans

-From a non-kpoper point of view, I can't tell them apart

-Honestly speaking, they look similar

-It's so similar, they could pass as the same group...

-It's similar, but New Jeans' concept isn't entirely original to begin with, right?

-Yeah, I immediately thought of New Jeans when I first saw ILLIT

-The similarity can't be denied...

-It really does look like ILLIT is using New Jeans as their references

-I've always thought so... From the number of members they have, even to their style...

-LE SSERAFIM is constantly being talked for being the copy of BTS as well. It's just what Bang Sihyuk specializes in.

-I'm not on Min Heejin's side, but this is really similar.

-I don't see any resemblance between both groups.
