If Harry Potter's Uncle was Sung Dong-il...

It looks like they will give him a lot of food...

Harry Potter: Hey, Uncle Vernon. I received an acceptance letter from Hogwarts...

Sung Dong-il: Hogu... What?

It looks like he will never properly pronounce the school's name until Harry graduates.
Hogwash... Hoguwashy.... Ho-whatever, etc.

Harry-ya~ Come down quickly. Auntie made kimbap.
Auntie, are you throwing a party??
Aigoo... It's better to have leftovers than not enough.

The reason why Harry dresses like that is not because of school-bullying, but because Sung Dong-il thought the clothes look good and bought them for Harry

Crazyㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Just imagining it already makes me happy.
He's copying the way his uncle walks with one hand in his pocket.

Oh my, who is this?
With a radiant complexion like a polished pearl, no matter what he wears, he looks outstanding...
Hey, if someone asks 'Where did you buy this shirt?', you need to answer quickly that your Uncle bought it for you. Okay?

Hey, is that Mal-po or Mal-juk still giving you a hard time? Don't worry too much about him. From the beginning, he had an annoying face that I didn't like, right? That guy looks like a spitting image of his father, all arrogant and everything. Guys like him should get their head shaved and sent straight to the military.

Oh my God!! That surprised me!!
Hey, Harry! Do you want to see your Uncle dies?? What on earth is this creepy thing?? His eyeballs just pop out! He might as well play basketball with his eyeballs. Come over and check this out, honey!! (That's my friend...) Friend?? You're saying he's the same age as you? My goodness, seriously, how much trouble has he been through to have his hair fall out already?

They might make that owl carry around 5kg of kimchi everyday...

The owl: f*ck...

theqoo

-The kimchiㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-I somehow can hear their voice through these picturesㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-The thought of only Koreans can enjoy this funny thing makes me really happyㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-They make the owl deliver Kimchiㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-The f*cking Kimchiㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-This is hilariousㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-Give us more, this is really funnyㅜㅜ

-I can imagine him getting along with Ron's parents and greeting them like, "Aigo~~ Mr and Mrs Weasley~". One day when Hermione comes to visit their house, Sung Dong-il keeps pronouncing her name wrong that Shiwon snaps and says, 'Dad!!! Her name isn't Helmeonie, it's Hermione!! How many times do I have to say it?!'

-As a thank you for doing the Kimchi delivery, they're giving the owl a lot of food until its stomach going to explodeㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-This is so funny, but I'm cryingㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

-This is really heart-warmingㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-Sung Dong-il's youngest sonㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-Sung Bora and Sung Shiwon would probably give hell to those who bully Harry. Sung Bora would use logic and scold them, while Sung Shiwon would just fight their assㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

"Would you marry me?" 47-year-old bachelor city councilor proposes publicly during parliamentary inquiry session

A male city councilor in his 40s, affiliated with Gwangyang City Council in Jeollanam-do, proposed to a civil servant during a council session. Criticism arose for his inappropriate conduct in a public setting, but the councilor expressed regret, stating, "I apologize for causing controversy," while also explaining, "I felt compelled to express my feelings in this manner."

According to sources from Gwangyang City Council on the 12th, Park Cheol-soo, a member of the Democratic Party, unexpectedly said during a parliamentary inquiry session the previous day, "I apologize for speaking personally during the plenary session."

Park stated, "I didn't want to miss the chance with someone who has many things I don't have," adding, "I felt I had to make this public to have a chance with this woman," as he called out the name of A, a 41-year-old employee of the health center's food sanitation department.

"Will you marry me?"

Park's proposal was relayed to government officials through internal broadcasting. After his speech, Park visited A's office and eventually received her acceptance of his proposal. Park and A had been dating for almost two months.

While colleagues congratulated the public proposal, some criticized it as "inappropriate to make personal statements in the council chamber." In response, Park remarked, "It was certainly inappropriate to make personal statements in the sacred council chamber as a councilor," but he also said, "I didn't want to miss out on finding a connection at a late age. That's how desperate I was."

"I agonized over this for days, but I also wanted to show her how convinced I was," Park continued, saying, "Although I knew it was wrong, I couldn't control myself. I will humbly accept criticism and reflect on this mistake."

While Gwangyang City Council recorded the entire session containing Park's public proposal, they opted not to release the proposal segment, citing it as "private content."

theqoo

-Even high school students wouldn't use school broadcasting station to confess their love. Is the city council a joke?

-As expected, useless city councilor.

-A city councilor who can't even distinguish between public and private...

-Wow... Unbelievable......

-He should be disciplined. Is he out of his mind?ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-This is not the kind of thing he's being paid for. Why is he acting like that during working hours?

-This is ridiculous, disciplinary action should be taken. He must be out of his mind for not being able to distinguish between public and private.

-Dating for two months and then a public proposal...?

-Looks like someone watched too many dramas

-Dating for two months and then a public proposal during a city council meeting, is he crazy? A, run away!

-It's fortunate that she accepted, but the whole situation itself is so funnyㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-Why do we have city councilors anyway? They're just wasting our taxes.

-He did that after just two months of dating? That woman is a aaint.

-The worst part is they've only dated for two months. He shouldn't be a city councilor if he can't control his emotions.

-You really shouldn't confess like that, especially not at work...

-You're a public servant...

-Two months of dating??? Unbelievable

Indonesians Reaction to K-Netz's Reaction about 'Exhuma' Doing Well in Indonesia

Q: Do Indonesians like horror movies?

A: Is that even a question?

ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

It's just like asking if Koreans like kimchi.

It seems like this Monday was a national holiday in Indonesia, that's why the number of viewers increased drastically.

I'm currently reading their reactions and it seems like Indonesian also has a lot of indigenous beliefs, I guess that's why 'Exhuma' resonates well with them. Some of them even compare it to their own folktales.

theqoo

-Ah... So it was really obvious that Indonesians are really into horror movies?ㅋㅋㅋ

-They love horror movies just as much as we love Kimchi??ㅋㅋㅋ I heard the same thing applies to Thais too

-They really love horror moviesㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-It was a national holiday?ㅋㅋㅋ No wonder why the number of viewers incrreased so quickly...

-I saw a Tweet saying, "Horror and shamanism, of course it'll do well in Indonesia. Please create more movies like this"ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Well, it's also the genre of movie we really like as well. Let's just hit 10M viewers first so that Director Jang can create more movies like this with no worriesㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-It seems like they're really into horror moviesㅋㅋㅋ That's fascinatingㅋㅋㅋ

-I clicked on the Tweet because I was curious... I learned that they have horror movies in their cinemas all year longㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-I looked up why 'Exhuma' is a big hit in Indonesia and learned that the market for horror movies there is really huge. Additionally, Indonesians also really love movies about spirits? ghosts? that passed down through tradition. That's the information I could gather from a 10-minutes long video. I also read dozens of comments that seemed like translations from Indonesian reviews, they all thanked this movie for showing such a pretty and handsome shamansㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-Oh... I really want to watch an Indonesian horror movie one dayㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-South East Asians really love movies like thisㅋㅋㅋ

Wonder Girls' Hyerim, "Dating as an Idol? If You're Confident Enough, People Will Just Think Your Boyfriend is Your Manager"

Hyerim shared the story of how she met her husband, Shin Minchul.

"When Wonder Girls were really busy at the time, how did you manage to date?" Hyerim responded with a laugh, "There's always time for dating."

She reminisced, "My father is a Taekwondo master, and I met my husband by attending my dad's Taekwondo gatherings." MC Kang Eun-do asked, "You dated for seven years, but back then, it wasn't a public relationship, right? How did celebrities meet their partners?"

To this, Hyerim unexpectedly replied, "My husband isn't a celebrity. So when we were together, people thought he was my manager."

Hyerim mentioned, "People would come up to my husband and ask, 'Can I get Hyerim's autograph?' So we comfortably went around." Hearing this, the MCs exclaimed, "That's impressive."

Hyerim added, "If you hide while you're dating, you'll only arouse suspicion. If you confidently go out together, people will just think he's your manager."

-It's not that they don't know, they just pretend not to know ㅠㅠ

-Fans know what their manager looks like, they just pretend not to know

-I wonder if it was necessary to mention that

-Seriously, fans knew...I knew too... But it's cute how Hyerim thought that nobody knew...

-Don't fans also know what the stylist and other staff look like...?

-ㅋㅋㅋㅋ ㅠㅠㅠ Oh my... If they're not fans, they might think he's the manager, but fans know everything ㅠㅠ

-She's so innocentㅎㅎ

-She's probably talking about muggles, not fans...

-Fans not only know the manager but also the faces of the staff they're with, and if the manager quits, they know where they went.

-There's no way fans wouldn't know..

-She was dating when Wonder Girls already passed the period of time when dating could be a problem

-Why would fans not know the manager's face...

-Excuse me, fans know the faces of the managers. They're just pretending not to know. Your experience isn't everything.

-Even if muggles don't know, fans know... ^ㅡㅠ

-That's very foolish of her... Celebrities really do live in a world inside their heads.

-Fans know the faces of the staff, security guards, and company staff tooㅋㅋ

-Non-fans might not know the manager's face, but fans know...... Even though I've never been to a fan meeting and only been to a few concerts, as a fan, I know the faces of my idol's manager and several company employees...... I even know the faces of the security team.

-That's cuteㅋㅋㅋㅋ Are you sure they really didn't know? Our Lim-ie was happy anyway, so it's fine

Chungha Confesses Trauma as The First Celebrity who Tested Positive for COVID-19 ... "Felt Like a Criminal"

Singer Chungha opened up about her feelings regarding being the first confirmed case of COVID-19 in the entertainment industry.

On this day, Chungha mentioned that in 2020, news of her being the first celebrity to test positive for COVID-19 came out.

Chungha recalled, "At that time, it was a period when everyone was very afraid of COVID-19" and said, "I felt like a criminal."

She continued, "Because of that memory, I don't often go to crowded places. To me, it's a trauma that doesn't seem like a trauma."

theqoo

-The beginning of the pandemic was indeed really terrifying. It wasn't the fear of being infected that was scary, but the fear of being socially crucified if caught tested positive for COVID-19. I really don't want to experience such a horrible situation againㅠㅠ

-It was understandable, especially since there was no vaccine in the beginning of the pandemic. One of my acquaintances tested positive in the beginning of the pandemic and was hospitalized for 50 days. At that time, there was nothing we can ddo.

-Even non-celebrities got cursed at when they got infected, I can't imagine how tougher it must've been for celebritiesㅠㅠㅠ

-In the beginning of the pandemic, your every move would be disclosed even if there were only one or two people reported positive in your region. At that time, I worked at a sports club and I had to report my movements after work every day. Looking back now, it seems absurd, but back then, I guess there was nothing else that we can do...

-Chungha stirred controversy for testing positive after attending a birthday party. The entire region was put under lockdown after that. I can't imagine how she must've felt. It felt like living under martial law with curfews.

-It was indeed really terrifying at the beginning of the pandemic...

-I remember how crazy it was in the beginning... All of your whereabouts got exposed...

-Back then, your whereabouts would be exposed if you tested positive. It was to the point where people were treated like criminals for getting infected. Of course, everyone around the world was really sensitive about it.

-At that time, vaccines weren't developed yet. There were deaths, schools had to be closed, and healthcare workers were struggling. It might sound like an overreaction now, but considering the circumstances back then, it was understandable.

-I was more scared of transmitting the virus to someone else than being sick myself.

-It was really terrifying, my friend's mother had to be hospitalized for a really long time.
