Do Kyungsoo: "Me getting 100 million won + the person I hate the most getting 10 billion won vs. both of us getting nothing."

Lee Youngji: Me getting 100 million won but the person I hate the most gets 10 billion won VS both of us receiving nothing.

Do Kyungsoo: I'll take the 100 million.

Lee Youngji: Even if the person you hate the most gets 10 billion won?

Do Kyungsoo: Let them have it. As long as I get my 100 million, why does it matter? They can live their life however they want.

🤷: "Let them have it~ Why does it matter?????"

(What's more important is that I get my 1 billion.)

For your information, Do Kyungsoo is a 'T' (ENTJ) in capital letters.

theqoo

-Wouldn't most ordinary people would prioritize getting 100 million right now?ㅋㅋ If you miss that chance, you'll regret it for the rest of your lifeㅋㅋ

-I'm the same way. If I hate someone, I just cut them out of my life. So I probably wouldn't feel anything about them getting 1 billion.

-Ahㅠㅠ I guess I'm petty. I wouldn't do it.

-I don't have 100 million, but I wouldn't take it. If I didn't know about someone I hate getting 1 billion, I would be fine. But if I did, I think I'd die out of jealousy. I'm also a T, by the way.

-I'm also a T and I think the same way. If I really hate someone, I would erase them completely from my memory. I once cut off someone from my life and stayed quiet, thinking that the biggest loss in their life is me not being in their life.

-Me too. It would be better if I get the 1 billion instead of someone I hate, but yeah... I'd still want my share first.

-The most important thing for me is getting my 1 billion.

-There's no way I'd let someone who deserves punishment getting 10 billion. Absolutely not.

-Definitely the 1 billion.

-No way. Absolutely not.

-Because of that person, my mom's health deteriorated, and I got sick too. I wouldn't even be able to recover with 100 million. But imagining that person living well and providing for their kids with 1 billion makes me want to die. I could never do it.

-No way. Let both of us stay poor.

-Same here. What's most important is that I get my 1 billion.

-I'm choosing the 1 billion... I guess because I don't hate anyone enough to care whether they get 10 billion or not. I just want my 1 billion.

FIFTY FIFTY's title track seems like it’s going to be a huge hit... (Part of it revealed in the Highlight Medley)

Title track: SOS

Comeback on September 20th

Their title track, Gravity, is also great

theqoo

-I'm definitely adding Gravity to my playlist when it's out.

-Wow, it's really good. I think it's going to do well.

-They're really great at picking songs.

-It's got a TikTok vibe, I think it’ll do well.

-I thought it was the best from the Highlight Medley, turns out it's the title track.

-Oh, the title track is definitely good.

-It's good, hurry up and release it.

-The CEO here really has great choice. I'd love to see more K-pop idols succeed under a CEO who invests and has good taste.

-Gravity is totally my style.

-This is why the agency is so important... They're the best when it comes to picking songs for their artistㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ You can always trust them when it comes to musicㅠㅠ

-The song is good, I hope it does well.

-Wow, how do they keep picking such good songs?

-Who picks the title tracks? They must have a great ear for music.

-I didn’t like the pre-release song, but the title track is good.

-Wow, they picked bangers before, and now they're doing it againㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

BTS fans launching a hashtag campaign for Suga’s withdrawal

#HighestFineForAnIdol_WhoCanDoItLikeYou

#DrunkDriving_CelebrityExpulsion_SugaIsNext

#HarmfulInfluence_KickOutDrunkDrivers

Hashtag campaign started at 9 PM

Despite surpassing 20,000 hashtags, it hasn’t trended due to reports from those opposing Suga’s withdrawal.

Update: Hashtag count surpasses 30,000

40,000 tweets

Major accounts are encouraging reporting

Statement

Regarding BTS Suga (real name Min Yoongi), who was booked for driving under the influence with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.227% on August 6, 2024, we, ARMYs calling for Suga’s withdrawal from BTS, strongly assert the following opinions to Suga and BigHit Music:

1. Suga and BigHit Music must not undermine the moral values of Korean society.

Suga's blood alcohol concentration of 0.227% is the highest among idols caught for drunk driving, nearly three times the 0.08% threshold for license revocation. If a BTS member, who influences fans worldwide, commits drunk driving, and the fandom defends this, it could dull society’s awareness of the dangers of drunk driving, causing significant harm.

If a member who drove while heavily intoxicated continues activities without consequences due to the group's global popularity, it would set a dangerous precedent of evading responsibility. The group and the agency will inevitably face criticism for prioritizing "economic value" over the "moral values" of Korean society.

2. Suga must take responsibility for deceiving fans and the public.

In his first apology, Suga referred to his electric scooter as an electric skateboard and claimed ignorance of the illegality of drunk driving. Furthermore, his second handwritten apology lacked an honest acknowledgment of his previous lies, offering only hollow words of responsibility, leaving fans deeply disappointed.

Suga has been delivering positive messages and societal critiques through his music as a BTS member. However, by committing the criminal act of drunk driving, he has lost the sincerity behind his music and messages. This is a betrayal and deception to the many fans who have loved his music.

As a Korean citizen, it is only right for Suga to face legal consequences for his crime. As a public figure and BTS member, he must also take responsibility for deceiving the public and fans through his reckless driving and false explanations, which have shattered trust in him as an artist.

3. BigHit Music has a responsibility to uphold the value of BTS as artists.

Korean society holds a highly negative perception of celebrities, especially idols, involved in drunk driving. Public broadcasters have long restricted the appearances of celebrities who commit various social crimes. To date, no member of a third-generation idol group who has caused controversy over drunk driving has remained in their group.

If Suga remains in the group despite his drunk driving, BTS and ARMY’s mutual pride in facing the world with confidence will be significantly diminished.

Therefore, we, ARMYs calling for Suga’s withdrawal from BTS, strongly demand the following from BigHit Music and Suga:

1. BigHit Music must release an official statement regarding Suga’s future group activities.

2. Suga must take responsibility for this incident by immediately withdrawing from the group.

We will continue to take firm action until BigHit Music makes an official statement about Suga’s group activities and Suga withdraws from the group.

September 2024

ARMYs calling for BTS Suga's withdrawal

ARMYs who demand Suga’s withdrawal argue that since he received the maximum fine for a first-time offender (15 million KRW) for drunk driving, he should take not only legal but also social responsibility.

Update

Comment #2: I submitted the statement, but there seems to be no place reporting it as news.

Comment #6: Yeahㅠㅠ Articles supporting his non-withdrawal get published even without proof of being ARMY, but those who support his withdrawal, even when proving they’re ARMY and submitting statements or organizing truck protests, are just being buried. I’m writing this because I feel bad and want more attention, even from other fandoms. I gathered the courage to write because I think it’s absurd that HYBE is allowing a celebrity with a drunk driving record to return to activities in 2025, without any reflection, let alone considering withdrawal. I hope this gains more public attention.

theqoo

-The company or the person themselves should make a decision on this, but HYBE’s stance seems to be just dismissing it as fangirls causing trouble. If he was the type to leave, he would have already done so. I wonder what will happen.

-HYBE’s actions, on top of the drunk driving, have completely drained my patriotism.

-If he truly thought about his members and fans, wouldn’t he leave on his own?

-Wow, it seems like HYBE’s PR team is really working hard not to let this statement become newsㅋㅋ

-I don't think he will leave. The international fandom will go crazy if he does.

-Min Suga, just leave the group.

-At least his fans are still normal.

-He still hasn't left the group?? HYBE is holding onto a criminal. Are they only thinking about sending him on worldwide tours?

-Hey, just leave already... I can’t even look at the other six members because of youㅡㅡ I want to erase every second I spent liking you as my favorite. Just leave.

-At least there are some sane fans. I’m relieved.

- support the fans who are speaking up about this... It’s shocking to see some fans saying that if he just shows remorse for drunk driving, it’s enough.

-Suga, aren’t you ashamed in front of the other members? Can you really just keep on smiling and performing after committing a crime? I can’t understand it at all. Take responsibility and leave the group.

-It's only the sane fans who are suffering... I know this because I'm a HYBE stan myself... We're suffering a lot.

How DAY6's Happy climbs back up to the music charts

For real, DAY6 should at least buy NMIXX a meal

Before the video was posted

After the video was posted

theqoo

-Oh, that's also how I discovered this song. I have been listening to it ever since.

-I thought it was the video of Wonpil cryingㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 'I just want to live easily~~'

-I also started listening to Happy after watching that videoㅋㅋㅋ

-Yeah, I first realized how good the song was after seeing that video trending here.

-It's like the algorithm blessed that song because it keeps popping up.

-I first discovered this song from that video on Youtube. I immediately loved the song, so I looked it up.

-Ah, so this is how it became popular again... I've been listening to Happy the most since it was first released, so when it suddenly blew up, I was like 'Oh?'

-Hul... I agree. This video and also that one video of Wonpil crying.

-Sullyoon has an amazing face and voice.

-What's the name of the girl who sang first?

-Jiwoo is so cute.

-Thank you, NMIXX~

-Thanks to NMIXX, I get to discover such a great songㅋㅋㅋㅋ

HYBE seems to have just one person managing the official announcements of multiple labels... (Real-time)

Frequent mistakes in announcements...

theqoo

-Did that happen today?

-Those two groups are not even under the same label and you're telling me there's only one person in charge of all this?

-ㅋㅋㅋLooks like there's only one person managing it

-Looks like TXT and Boy Next Door are managed by one person...

-I would've understood if they were under the same label, but not thisㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ...

-What's the point of having different labels then

-Didn't they also post ENHYPEN's lightstick on BTS' account a few days ago? It really seems like the announcement is managed by one person.

-Isn't this kind of mistake quite common? Why is everyone so angry?

-The two groups are under different labels, and yet they're being handled by one person?

-If that's the case, what purpose does the 'label' even serve here? It's not like they're operating with centralized headquarters like SM Ent. or JYP Ent. Aren't these labels supposed to be completely independent?

-Whoa... If there's really only one person managing all these accounts, that person must be overworked. Managing one team's account is already tough enough...

-They're not even under the same labelㅋㅋㅋ

-Again?

HYBE: "Min Heejin's dismissal? It was ADOR's independent decision... Unrelated to shareholders' agreement"

by Journalist Myung Heesook

https://m.entertain.naver.com/article/311/0001771472

On the 13th, HYBE stated to Xports News, "The shareholders' agreement is a contract signed between HYBE and former CEO Min Heejin, but it has already been terminated. If there are reasons for termination, it can be terminated by written notice. And once it is terminated, the shareholders' agreement loses its effect."

They continued, "A lawsuit to confirm the termination of the shareholders' agreement has been filed to legally confirm this, so we're waiting for legal judgment. The dismissal of former CEO Min Heejin was decided independently by ADOR's board of directors. It has nothing to do with HYBE or the shareholders' agreement."

Additionally, HYBE expressed, "We regret that former CEO Min, who previously emphasized the importance of independent management for ADOR as a separate company, is not complying with the board's decision."

...ㅋㅋ

+

Independent decision...?

At that time, the injunction was filed only against former CEO Min, so her close associates, Vice President Shin and Director Kim, were dismissed from their positions as internal directors. These positions were then filled by HYBE's personnel: Kim Jooyoung (CHRO), Lee Jaesang (CSO at the time, currently CEO), and Lee Kyungjoon (CFO).

theqoo

-How stupid do they think the public is?ㅋㅋ No wonder they tried to scam the public with Suga's caseㅋㅋ

-It’s clear they see the public as fools.

-Every time they open their mouth, they lie.

-These guys are seriously unbelievable...

-They're stupid. That's why they think everyone else is stupid just like them.

-At this point, aren’t they just scammers? Do they think running a business is a joke?

-You guys are beyond bullies now. You’re just scammers. Every time you open your mouth, you lie.

-This is becoming funny now...ㅋㅋㅋ

-Do they think people are stupid just because we like idols and spend money on them?ㅋㅋㅋ Unbelievable.

-They’re really underestimating the public.

-Who would believe this? It’s so pathetic.

-That's very low of them.

-Are they thugs or what?ㅋㅋㅋ The level of their rudeness is legendary.
