Park Minyoung shared a funny behind-the-scenes story about her kiss scene with Wi Hajoon.

On the 4th, a video titled 'The appearance of romance masters whose specialty is kissing' was posted on Youtube. In the video, the main cast of the drama 'Siren's Kiss' Park Minyoung, Wi Hajoon, and Kim Junghyun appeared as guests and shared various stories about the show.

First, when asked how he felt about the project, Wi Hajoon said, "I'm not usually the type to read a script all the way through at once, but I finished this one right away. The character was also very charming." Park Minyoung praised him, "He suits the role very well. He also handles action scenes perfectly."

The conversation naturally shifted to the romance scenes. Park Minyoung started by saying, "I heard Wi Hajoon hasn't done many romance roles. He told me it was only his second or third time doing a kiss scene." She laughed, "Since I've done a lot of romance dramas, I teased him saying, 'If this is only your third time, you're basically a newborn. A kiss newborn.'"

However, once filming started, the atmosphere changed. Park Minyoung said, "Once we started rolling, he practically devoured my lips. I was supposed to look surprised in the scene, but I was genuinely surprised." She joked, "How can someone with only three attempts at kiss scenes do it like that? At that point, it was basically 'suction.'"

When the host joked, "Did he study on Youtube beforehand?" Park Minyoung added, "Hajun has pretty thick lips and a fairly big mouth. You'll see if you watch. For a moment, my lips felt like they were being sucked all the way into his cheeks."

Park Minyoung, who is starring in the new drama 'Siren,' revealed, "I went on a diet by drinking only water."

On the afternoon of the 23rd, a press conference for tvN's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Siren' (written by Lee Young, directed by Kim Cheolgyu) was held via TVING and Naver TV. Park Minyoung, Wi Hajoon, Kim Junghyun, and Director Kim Chulgyu attended the event.

Park Minyoung, who plays as Han Seol-ah, a chief auctioneer at Royal Auction, drew attention by saying that she went on an extreme diet for her character.

Park Minyoung explained, "Han Seol-ah, the character I play, does not eat in the drama. So many tragic events happen around her, so she doesn't eat and only drinks water or alcohol at home."

She added, "She is a character who feels extremely lonely when alone and also suffers from panic disorder. That's why I felt like I shouldn't gain weight," and added, "While filming this project, I fasted and drank 3 liters of water a day," surprising everyone.

Park Minyoung shared, "Now I have returned to my normal self. Keeping myself in a dark mood seemed to suit the character very well. I really changed into someone very dark."

Previously, Park Minyoung made headlines for losing weight down to 37kg while portraying a character battling cancer in the 2024 drama 'Marry My Husband.'

At the time, she explained, "I ate very little and survived only on ion drinks during filming." She added, "The production team was very kind. They let me film those scenes first, including the death scene. Then, they gave me about two weeks to gain back 5kg."

Meanwhile, 'Siren' is a drama about a woman with irresistible charm who is suspected of insurance fraud and a man who investigates the suspicious deaths around her. It is starred by Park Minyoung, Wi Hajoon, Kim Junghyun, Lee Elijah, and Han Junwoo. The first episode airs on March 2nd at 8.50 PM (KST).

It has been recently confirmed by a Biz Korea investigation that actress Park Min-young is currently serving as an internal director at a small construction company operated by her family. Last year, she was embroiled in controversy due to rumors of a romantic relationship with Kang Jong-hyun, the alleged real owner of Bithumb, but recently made a successful comeback by starring as the lead in the tvN drama "Marry My Husband."

Park Min-young's involvement as an internal director at the small construction company "One Stone," established in February 2013, has come to light. One Stone' headquarters is located in a corporate-owned building in Amsa-dong, Gangdong-gu, Seoul, where a branch of Bithumb affiliate 'IT' operated a direct mobile phone store on the first floor.

According to corporate registration records, One Stone changed its name four times from Mediterranean Travel to Bizmall Tour, Haosoftware, and finally One Stone. During this process, the primary business purpose also shifted from travel to real estate leasing.

Park Min-young was first listed as an internal director of One Stone on June 5, 2018, coinciding with One Stone's transformation from a travel business to real estate leasing. At the time of her appointment in June 2018, Park provided her Cheongdam-dong residence, where she lived with her family, as collateral to secure a real estate loan of KRW 2.16 billion for One Stone. The real estate collateral loan registration set on her residence, which had a term of three years as an internal director, was released in June 2021. Park was reinstated as an internal director in April 2023.
