As NewJeans Minji's birthday approaches, a recent update about her has been revealed.
On the 5th, numerous posts spread across social media and online communities stating that Minji, whose birthday is on the 7th, prepared homemade cookies, letters, and photos for fans visiting her 'birthday cafe.'
Along with his, a handwritten letter by Minji was revealed. She wrote, "Hi Bunnies. Have you all been doing well? I wonder if you've been eating well. It's May, the kind of season that feels like everything you imagine might come true. I heard many Bunnies are gathering to celebrate my birthday again this year. Thinking I can't miss out on this, I baked some cookies. I hope they taste good."
She continued, "I'm always thankful to you, Bunnies. Right now, I have a hundred truckloads of things I want to say. I hope a good opportunity comes to us again. Let's meet again. Thank you for celebrating my birthday," expressing her gratitude.
Another handwritten note from Minji was also revealed. She wrote, "Make sure to take only one cookie each. It'll taste best if you eat it on the day you receive them," adding, "I wonder how you Bunnies are doing and what you're up to. I'm sure you guys are probably curious about what I've been doing too, right? I'll be waiting for the day we can talk for more than four hours."
She also shared messages such as, "I have a lot I want to say. I believe the day will definitely come when we can meet again and talk calmly."
Meanwhile, the members of NewJeans notified their agency, ADOR, of the termination of their exclusive contracts in November 2024, citing a breakdown of trust, but later lost the lawsuit. Since then, Haerin, Hyein, and Hanni have returned to the agency, while Minji is still in discussions regarding her return. Danielle has been removed from the group.
