On the 12th, TXT was supposed to perform at Music Bank in Chile which was held in Estadio Monumental, Santiago. However, the concert was canceled due to heavy rain and bad weather. TXT went on stage to apologize to the audience. Not only did they get booed by the audience, but the members also got things thrown at them. Yeonjun was hit on the back with trash as he had just finished greeting the fans, he seemed to be surprised. This could've been dangerous had the stuff been something hazardous or hit his head or face, instead of his back. But Yeonjun continued to smile at the audience like a professional until he got off the stage.
Chilean audiences receive criticism for their attitude at the concert. Local fans were heard discriminating against Asians at the Kpop concert venue. Fans express their complaints, "Are there any reasons on why these singers should perform in a racist country?"
-I hope they wouldn't visit Chile again in the future...
-Whoa... That's very trashy of them. I don't think he has any reasons to go to Chile anymore in the future. I mean, they're causing the singers at danger. Why should the singers visit that country again?
-Let's not go to Chile again. There are a lot of different countries out there. Just hold concerts in other countries.
-This is pissing me offㅡㅡ It took them time and effort to go all the way to Chile and they're getting discriminated there?
-This is really upsetting... It's pissing me offㅠㅠ
-Yeonjun is such a professional. I mean the concert was canceled due to bad weather, why are they venting their anger at the singers??
-Why did they tell the singers to apologize in the first place??!! I don't understand thath
-That's crazy... So you think the bad weather is because of the artists' fault???
-That's very ignorant of them. What did the singers do wrong to deserve that treatment??
-Crazy... Why did they make the singers apologize in the first place??
-I don't think these artists have any reasons to go to Chile anymore. If Chilean fans want to see them, they should come and see them in South Korea.
