I don't understand why they unnecessarily make the characters younger in this drama

'Love Scout'

Kang Jiyoon: Born in 1989

Yoo Eunho: Born in 1991

In the drama, the characters are portrayed as a self-made female CEO and a father whose daughter is in kindergarten. Their real-life ages (Born in 1982 and 1984) seem more fitting for the characters, so I don't understand why they made the characters younger in this drama.

theqoo

-Actors just act, regardless of the character's age. How did you feel when older actors played the characters of high school students?

-They're actors. Chill out, seriously ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ If you want to see someone who's actually old, why don't you debut as an actor yourself?? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Well, do you even have the looks for it?

-They never mentioned their ages in the drama and there's nothing strange or uncomfortable as I watch it. Why are you making such a fuss over nothing?

-People who are actually enjoying the drama probably don’t even care about this.

-There's someone in my company who's born in 1991 and looks older than him.

-I was curious how much younger they made them, and 1991? What's wrong with youㅋㅋㅋ But Han Jimin was born in 1982?? She doesn't age.

-The character's ages are never mentioned in the drama. It isn't even important for the plot.

-As someone who was born in 1989, if I'd have no complaints if I looked like her...

-What??ㅋㅋㅋ Do you think people born in 1989 or 1991 are in their late 20s?ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ They’re in their mid-to-late 30s;; It's common for actors to play roles with significant age differences.

-It's not about the looks, though... It's just that the characters' setups feel more suitable for someone in their 40s

-It doesn't suit them, but since it's just a drama, it's acceptable.

-People born in 1991 aren't even that young...

-He's supposed to be a man who got married at a young age and now has a 7-year old daughter... What's the problem?

-What's the problem?

-Why are you looking for realism in a drama?

PLAVE's official account is currently in chaos due to SEVENTEEN's fans accusing them of plagiarism

PLAVE's album teaser that was recently released

The title (This man / This boy)

The key phrase "HAVE YOU SEEN"

The design (Font, effects that resemble sharp lightning, the gloomy black and white atmosphere, the text that resembles a wanted poster)

They adopted the rare urban legend "This Man" that JxW used less than a year ago.

I'm really sorry, but as soon as I saw it, I thought, 'Huh?? This looks really similar to 'This Man'??" The moment someone thinks like that, they're already in the wrong. People say to blame the company, but don't the members see the concept drafts or ideas beforehand? Wasn't the album released with the members' approval? We never said the concept or the font was ours, we're just saying that it looks similar..;;

SEVENTEEN's fans are currently accusing PLAVE of plagiarism, saying that the concept is similar to SEVENTEEN Sub-Unit's album.

If you check the official account, it's in complete chaos.

They claim that the wanted poster and the phrase 'Have you ever seen this man? (boy?)' were directly copied (from SEVENTEEN)

theqoo

-I remember SHINee's 'Don't Call Me' teaser also had a "Have you seen...?" phrase and a newspaper concept. If that's the case, then aren't they plagiarizing SHINee too??

-Where is this fight even happening...? Why don't I see it on my Timeline? If I ever come across it, I should stop them.

-Hmm... The poster designs are different. I don't agree with them if they're only claiming similarity in the text and atmosphere.

-Maybe they've never seen an actual newspaper before.

-What's wrong with them? It's not even similar at all. This type of concept is so f*cking common.

-Are the fans like... super young... ? Or are they boomer?

-Please tell me this is a joke...;;;;;

-Huh? I'm a SEVENTEEN's fan, but I don't know why they're making a fussㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Why is this even an issue?

-Do they seriously think that's plagiarism...?

-The layout isn't even identical... Why is it plagiarism...?

-I don't see any single SEVENTEEN's fan claiming plagiarism on my timeline... Why is the OP generalizing all fans and making a big deal out of this?ㅋㅋ

-But honestly, SEVENTEEN's Twt stans seem to really hate PLAVE. I'm always surprised when I see their hate tweets.

-Seems like they copied New York Times first, then.

-How is this even plagiarism...?

-ㅎ PLAVE is making a comeback on February 3rd. Please give them lots of love.

-Wow... It's already been 11 years? Time fliesㅋㅋ It feels like it was just yesterday when I laughed my ass off while watching Hyungdon and GD on Infinite Challenge..

SNSD members will definitely regret not getting married

As they were born in 1989, they're 36 now. It's almost too late to get pregnant. Since they don't get invited to shows and barely have schedules now, it would be better for them to have children, starting a second chapter in their life.

They have a lot of money, so they probably just want to travel and eat good food...

Sure, that's fine for now. But won't they regret it once they pass the age of 40? Well, they'll still have money by then, so I guess they could marry some working-class men and live as a DINK couple. It'll just be difficult to have children.

-Taeyeon wouldn't want to marry you even if she's over 100 years old;;

-Why would they regret anything when they have money;;

-Celebrities live well... Worrying about celebrities is the most useless thing someone can do.

-I'm speechless...

-Why do you assume everyone wants to get married and have kids? Can't you just accept that people live their lives in different ways? Why do you judge them and assume they'll regret anything?

-That's some fresh nonsense right there

ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

It's rare for a user to get bashed like this in male-dominated online communities, though.

theqoo

-You old men... Marriage isn't the ultimate goal for women.

-What is he even saying...? This is beyond ridiculous.

-They wouldn't marry you anyway. Neither SNSD nor any other women^^

-That one comment saying that Taeyeon wouldn't want to marry him even if she's over 100 years oldㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I bet he must've cried reading that commentㅋㅋㅋ

-Isn't traveling and eating good food all the time the definition of happines????

-They're probably happier not marrying a Hannam, tsk tsk.

-ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I thought this was a post from 10 years agoㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ So irrelevant. It has zero impact.

-What a fresh nonsensㅋㅋㅋㅋ SNSD still has a lot of f*cking fans and yet the OP is out here spewing nonsense like this.

-Why is someone without a uterus worrying about pregnancy?ㅋㅋ

-Who's going to regret it? Kim Wansun, who is in her 50s, recently told Seulgi not to bother with dating menㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-Ugh, seriouslyㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ This is so ridiculous I can't even get angry, it's just funny.

-Do Hannam really think that getting married and having kids equal happiness?;;ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-I'll decide what to do with my uterus, you motherf*cker...

-ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Worry about your own life instead.

Minje

Kyehoon

Amaru

Donghwa

Juwang

Keiju

Donghyun

-What's up with their hairstyle, makeup, and outfits...?

-Donghwa and Juwang look alike...

-Wait, I thought Juwang was Chinese. I searched his name and it turns out that he's actually Korean.

-They give off a mix of Stray Kids + ENHYPEN vibes.

-Are they all foreigners? How many of them are foreigners?

-Did the stylist intentionally dress them poorly?... Is it their strategy? A buildup for their next album?ㅋㅋㅋ

-My bias' debut photos were weird as well. We'll need to see them during promotions to get a better ideaㅋㅋㅋ That guy named Minje looks handsome, though.

-Some of them look like Stray Kids members.

-Someone needs to do something with their hair...

-They look so cuteㅋㅋㅋㅋ Fighting, boys.

-What's with the ramen-eating pose?ㅋ

-Why do idols' debut stages always have bad styling?

-Why did the hairstylist give all of them such hairstyles?ㅠ

-Is this the best the hairstylist could do with their hair?

-There's a guy who looks like Kangta...

The Cineplay ratings and comments for 'Dark Nuns'

Joo Sungcheol: An ambitious attempt to build the plot solely around exorcism, but the young male demon talks way too much.

Sung Chaneol: It's too straightforward, leaving no room for curiosity and fear.

Choo Ahyoung: Presents the image of a feminist exorcist who embraces evil with acceptance and sacrifice.

Lee Jinjoo: The visuals are stunning, every single one of them.

Kim Jiyeon: An attempt to connect exorcism, shamanism, and tarot functionally...

theqoo

-Oh noㅠ I was really looking forward to this...

-Well... It does look a bit boring.

-Ah, whyㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜ I was hoping it would be good...

-Isn't that quite a decent rating, though?

-My mom's a fan of Song Hyekyo, so I'll go see it with her... I guess I'll have to go with low expectations thenㅎ

-Hmm... I'll probably go see it first before judging.

-I think it's just okay...?? You shouldn't have high expectations. It seems like a decent movie to watch casually.

-I'm curious, so I'll go watch it anyway.

-I hope the movie focuses more on the interesting elements rather than just being a scary movie. Exorcism, shamanism, and tarot... It sounds promising alreadyㅋㅋㅋ

-Guess I'll have to watch it just to see Song Hyekyo's face then!

-The demon talks too much....?

-Well... It's hard for occult movies to get high ratingssㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-It looks fun to me, though...

-Honestly, I just want it to be fun and scary... But I know that's tough... Sighㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

-I'll judge after watching it myself.

Hearts 2 Hearts Nayeon

From 2025.02.25~
Debut at the age of 14

-Kyuhyun and Sehun aren't on here...

ㄴKyuhyun was the same age as Changmin at the time. But since Changmin's birthday is later, Kyuhyun wasn't the youngest in SM overall!

-Jisung seemed like the maknae for a long time. But he's actually the same age as Ning Ning, so that's probably why it feels that wayㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-How old was Sehun when he debuted?
ㄴSehun was born in 1994, so he's the same age as Krystal. He debuted when he was in 11th grade.

-BoA debuted as a solo artist when she was so young, and her skills were amazing from the start. It's amazing.

-Krystal was the maknae for a really long timeㄷㄷㄷ

-Anton and Krystal looked so young for their ageㅋㅋㅋ

-It's amazing that BoA debuted in Korea at such a young age and then in Japan at 14.

-I thought BoA debuted at a much younger age, but she actually debuted at 13, which is only one year older than Taemin's age when he debuted.

-I didn't know Chanyoung-ie used to be the maknae in SM too...

-I didn't know this when I was young, but debuting at 13 or 14 was really young....

-I was shocked when I first saw Sakuya, I thought he was an elementary school studentㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-I didn’t know Krystal was younger than Sulli…

-Jisung feels like the eternal maknae to me, so I thought he was the maknae in SM for the longest time, but it turns out that Krystal was the maknae for a logner time.

-I didn't know Krystal debuted at 14. Unbelievable.

-Soojung-ie and Jisung-ie, whoaㅋㅋ They were really young when they debuted. Especially Jisung... He still feels like the maknae to me. I still remember how shocked I was when I first saw him debuting.

-Where are EXO and Super Junior on the list?
ㄴThis is about the youngest artists in the entire company, not just in their groups.

-Some members look younger than their age, and there are some who debuted younger than I thought.
