Park Jinyoung gives an advice on how to have a long-lasting career to JYP's rookies

 


Minje: We're just starting out, so I'm curious about how to have a long career like yours, PD-nim.

Park Jinyoung: The most important thing is that you have to want to last long. You have to genuinely have the mindset, 'I want to do this for a long time.' If you think, ‘I’m going to do this for 30 years,’ then you're going to have to study music. Also, you mustn’t do anything that would disappoint people if they found out. No matter how talented you are, if you’re secretly doing things that would make people disappointed and you get caught, then what happens next? And you have to get along well with your members. If I had to sum it up in three words: Honesty, Diligence, Humility.

Amaru: Ah, it's like the company's motto.

Summary:

1. Having the desire to do it for a long time,

2. Not doing anything that would disappoint others,

3. Getting along well with members.

-1 and 2 are totally factsㅋㅋ Judging by how the member in my fav group who never intended to be an idol in the first place ended up leaving the group because they did something disappointing.

-So instead of being sneaky, you should be doing that 'disappointing thing' openly...?

-He’s not wrong, but does he really have the right to say this…?

-Well, he’s actually had a long career himself, so he can say this.

-He’s speaking facts, but the problem is that some people last long even without following these rulesㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

He kinda looks like one of his seniors from the same company, GOT7's Jinyoung

-As soon as I saw him, I thought of GOT7 Jinyoungㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ He's so handsome...

-Ok Taecyeon and Felix...?

-Uh... Why do I see Shin Yeeun in his face?

-He caught my eye because he’s really handsomeㅋㅋㅋ

-I think he looks a bit like Ricky...

-Wow, I also thought of GOT7 Jinyoungㅋㅋㅋ He looks like a mix of Jinyoung and Felix.
