Singer Jamie (Park Jimin) spoke about her past public relationship.
On the 19th, Jamie made an appearance on the Youtube channel 'Danny Cho.'
That day, when asked about what memory she wishes could disappear from the internet, Jamie said, "I once had a public relationship."
She continued, "Since I was in my 20s, I wanted to date publicly. I always had to hide my relationships and could only go on dates at home. But after leaving my company and becoming free, and being in my passionate 20s, I decided to go public with my relationship."
In November 2022, Jamie revealed her boyfriend, Goo Minchul, through her channel with the caption 'Let's be happy.' The two showed affection by hugging and sharing kisses. Goo Minchul gained recognition after competing on Channel A/ENA 'Steel Troops 2.'
Jamie confessed, "Nothing is left. It just all burned away. Looking back now, I regret it." Regarding the breakup, she said, "People kept asking if it (the cheating) was true. Talking about it so specifically is something I regret. I should've just said we broke up coolly. I think it was uncool of me to explain it in detail like 'We broke up because of this, I hope you X.'"
At the time, just two months into the public relationship, Jamie posted a message on social media hinting that her boyfriend had cheated. She wrote, "When you find out your boyfriend is a cheater." She followed it with a post in English saying, "Did you have fun with 4-5 other girls?" and then deleted all photos of her with Goo Minchul, sparking controversy.
Jamie emphasized, "If I could go back, I wouldn't go public with my relationship in the first place," adding, "I have no lingering feelings. The moment I saw it, I cut him off," explaining how the breakup happened.
