Ong Seongwoo is going to the military... Will be enlisting on April 17th

 

Ong Seongwoo (29) will be joining the military service. Ong Seongwoo, born in 1995, is confirmed to be enlisting on April 17th. He is working his best to finish all filming and schedules until late March and proceed to prepare for his enlistment. 

Ong Seongwoo officially debuted with Wanna One in 2017, a boy group created by Mnet Produce 101 S2. After finishing his promotion with the group, he continued his career as a solo singer and actor. He has been gaining a lot of popularity overseas, making him one of the most popular global stars. 

He started his career as an actor by starring in JTBC 'At Eighteen' in 2019. He also starred in JTBC 'More Than Friends' and KakaoTV 'Would You Like a Cup of Coffee?'. He also started starring on big screens last year, such as in Netflix Original movies 'Seoul Vibe' and 'Life is Beautiful'.

Aespa is confirmed to have a comeback in May

 

According to StarNews, Aespa will be coming back with a new album in early May. That is 10 months after they released their previous 2nd Mini Album, Girls, in July last year.

Aespa was originally planned to have a comeback on February 20, but it was delayed due to a management dispute with SM Entertainment. 

Despite their comeback being postponed, Aespa held their first-ever solo concert at Jamsil Indoor Stadium for two days from February 25th to 26th and wrapped it up successfully.

In the concert, Aespa performed over 10 unreleased songs such as 'Thirsty', 'Salty & Sweet', 'I'm Unhappy', 'Don't Blink', 'Hot Air Balloon', 'YOLO', 'Till We Meet Again', etc, which raised the public's anticipation towards their upcoming comeback.

Kim Saeron's legal representative regarding her financial difficulty, "She is ina huge debt after her DUI incident. She is currently working part-time jobs, but..."

According to Star Today, on the 15th, Lawyer Min Gi-ho of Daeryuk Ajou Law Firm and Kim Saeron's legal representative said, "(Kim Saeron) is heavily in debt due to the amount of penalty she had to pay for her DUI case. Her income has been spent on her parents' business and her family's living expenses. She is suffering a lot, financially. It is true that she is currently working part-time."

Criticism towards Kim Saeron grew even bigger after the public learned that she appointed lawyers from one of the Nation's Top 10 Law Firms, despite claiming to be in a difficult situation financially. Each of the two law firms she hired appointed two lawyers, one of those two law firms is one of the Nation's Top 10 Law Firms with the biggest income last year. 

Not only that, Kim Saeron also received a backlash after posting fake photos of herself working part-time at a cafe as proof that she's suffering from financial difficulty. The representative of the cafe shown in her pictures claimed, "Kim Saeron has never worked in any of our branches." Kim Saeron was assumed to have fabricated pictures to raise sympathy from the public. 

Min Gi-ho said, "I knew that she is working part-time. I didn't expect her to be working part-time at different places at once. I didn't see anything out of normal (When she posted pictures of her working part-time at a cafe). I contacted her to ask more about her part-time job, however she couldn't be reached and I can't confirm the exact truth."

Min Gi-ho continued, "I have nothing to say about the current controversy. All I know is as the head of the family, she is currently working part-time to earn money." Min Gi-ho also stressed again that Kim Saeron is really having financial difficulty.
