According to Star Today, on the 15th, Lawyer Min Gi-ho of Daeryuk Ajou Law Firm and Kim Saeron's legal representative said, "(Kim Saeron) is heavily in debt due to the amount of penalty she had to pay for her DUI case. Criticism towards Kim Saeron grew even bigger after the public learned that she appointed lawyers from one of the Nation's Top 10 Law Firms, despite claiming to be in a difficult situation financially. Each of the two law firms she hired appointed two lawyers, one of those two law firms is one of the Nation's Top 10 Law Firms with the biggest income last year.
Not only that, Kim Saeron also received a backlash after posting fake photos of herself working part-time at a cafe as proof that she's suffering from financial difficulty. The representative of the cafe shown in her pictures claimed, "Kim Saeron has never worked in any of our branches." Kim Saeron was assumed to have fabricated pictures to raise sympathy from the public.
Min Gi-ho said, "I knew that she is working part-time. I didn't expect her to be working part-time at different places at once. I didn't see anything out of normal (When she posted pictures of her working part-time at a cafe). I contacted her to ask more about her part-time job, however she couldn't be reached and I can't confirm the exact truth."
Min Gi-ho continued, "I have nothing to say about the current controversy. All I know is as the head of the family, she is currently working part-time to earn money." Min Gi-ho also stressed again that Kim Saeron is really having financial difficulty.
