I understand why fans are angry about Jeon Somi’s lack of activities over the past 7 years

Currently, both Somi's domestic and international fans are expressing their dissatisfaction with The Black Label's negligence. After organizing the facts, it seems really bad, so I'm writing this post.

After transferring from JYP to The Black Label in September 2018, the number of song Somi has released up until 2025 is.. Only 15. 

The last time she had a proper promotion was for 'Fast Forward,' which was released

in August 2022…

Of course, she wasn’t completely inactive last year.

In August 2023, she released an English song, 'Ice Cream' (and promoted it on music shows for a week).

But if you count all the content uploaded on The Black Label’s and Somi’s personal YouTube channels combined…

This is all there is.

Literally, this is everything over the past yearㅇㅇ... Even including the music videos and teasers, this is itㅎ No recording videos, no music show behind-the-scenes. Nothingㅋㅋ

If you wonder if her domestic activities were neglected because she was focusing on concerts, fan meetings, or world tours...

That's not the case.

Why? Because Somi still doesn't have a fan club yetㅎㅎ... How long has it been since she debuted? Why does she still not have a fan club?

She's never had a solo concert either. World tour?? There's no way she did a world tour when she didn't even do a domestic concert.....

Fan meetings?

The last and only one she had was a birthday fan meeting in 2019.

And it’s not like she’s been doing acting or other entertainment activities either…

The Black Label has 115 employees, but I have no idea what they’re even doing.

-I had a bad feeling when she announced she was leaving JYP to join that agency.

-I saw her TikTok earlier and she posted a comeback spoiler. Other than TikTok and Instagram, there's really nothing else...

-This is seriously bad… I like her, so I check for comeback news from time to time, but there’s never any updates.

-They're wasting the prime years of her career and life like this… They must be crazy.

-What do those employees even do when they go to work? Is everyone just slacking off? ....Give her a comeback already.

-She’s never even had a solo concert? That’s so mean… The Black Label really doesn't seem to be doing any work. It's not any different for MEOVV.

-Teddy is a great producer, but he’s awful at managing artists.

-115 employees??? What exactly do they do all day? I’m seriously curious.

-Wow, that's bad.. I thought she had completely stopped promotions as a singer.

-I know all of her title tracks... Why are they wasting the potential of such a talented artist...?

-How long has it been since she debuted, and she still doesn't have a fan club...?

-It’s not YG but The Black Label, though honestly, they're not much different.

-I never expected The Black Label to keep her THIS inactive… They seem to be the worst company ever.

Kim Soohyun to host 'KCON 2024' in July

 

Kim Soohyun, Rowoon, and Jeon Somi, will be hosting M Countdown 'KCON LA 2024.'

Taking place over three days from July 26 to 28 at the Crypto.com Arena, LA Convention Center, and Gilbert Lindsay Plaza in Los Angeles, 'KCON LA 2024' will feature these stars as hosts for M Countdown. TWICE Chaeyoung and Jeon Somi Exposes Their Underwear in an Unmanned Photo Booth

 

TWICE's Chaeyoung and Jeon Somi revealed a photo taken in an unmanned photo booth where their underwear was exposed.

On the 3rd, Chaeyoung shared a photo taken with her 'close friend' Jeon Somi after their date on her Instagram.

The photo captured the two wearing wigs and striking poses in an unmanned photo booth. However, one photo included the exposure of their underwear, shocking netizens.

Chaeyoung deleted the photo around 20 minutes after posting it, but it had already spread online.

-Judging by the amount of skin exposure from stage outfits these days, I guess things like that are becoming normal things now... Sigh...

-This is embarrassing to look at.

-It's a public place and there are CCTVs around. It's okay for friends to joke around and take pictures like that, but I don't understand why she had to post it publicly? Especially since children these days are heavily influenced by idols. She should've realized that many young children might imitate such behavior.

-Yes, you can take pictures with your friends, but why did you have to upload it? Just think about how much children are influenced by idols.

-Why did they do that?ㅠㅠ I hope no one would imitate that. It's recorded in the machine and the administrators can see itㅠㅠ What if they share it online?ㅠㅠ

-If an ordinary person does this, it would be considered as public indecency and cause trouble. However, if a celebrity does this, people will just let it pass as they think it's no different from their stage outfits. 

-What are they doing... If they want to do things like that, they should do it at home.

-I don't see any problems... To me, it just seems like they're having fun. 

-Young children might start imitating this... Exposing their underwear in the photo booths might become a trend. 

-Even regular people would get criticized for doing that, let alone celebrities. 

-Oh, I didn't realize that was her underwear... Why did they do that?

-Isn't it enough to just take regular pictures with four poses?

-They're not acting like adults.

I think Somi is living her life really well

She's still young and yet she's already doing everything that she wants, she lives a really fun live and she seems to have a really happy familyㅠㅠㅠ I feel jealous of her whenever I see her Instagram..
