I understand why fans are angry about Jeon Somi’s lack of activities over the past 7 years

Currently, both Somi's domestic and international fans are expressing their dissatisfaction with The Black Label's negligence. After organizing the facts, it seems really bad, so I'm writing this post.

After transferring from JYP to The Black Label in September 2018, the number of song Somi has released up until 2025 is.. Only 15. 

The last time she had a proper promotion was for 'Fast Forward,' which was released

in August 2022…

Of course, she wasn’t completely inactive last year.

In August 2023, she released an English song, 'Ice Cream' (and promoted it on music shows for a week).

But if you count all the content uploaded on The Black Label’s and Somi’s personal YouTube channels combined…

This is all there is.

Literally, this is everything over the past yearㅇㅇ... Even including the music videos and teasers, this is itㅎ No recording videos, no music show behind-the-scenes. Nothingㅋㅋ

If you wonder if her domestic activities were neglected because she was focusing on concerts, fan meetings, or world tours...

That's not the case.

Why? Because Somi still doesn't have a fan club yetㅎㅎ... How long has it been since she debuted? Why does she still not have a fan club?

She's never had a solo concert either. World tour?? There's no way she did a world tour when she didn't even do a domestic concert.....

The last and only one she had was a birthday fan meeting in 2019.

And it’s not like she’s been doing acting or other entertainment activities either…

The Black Label has 115 employees, but I have no idea what they’re even doing.

-I had a bad feeling when she announced she was leaving JYP to join that agency.

-I saw her TikTok earlier and she posted a comeback spoiler. Other than TikTok and Instagram, there's really nothing else...

-This is seriously bad… I like her, so I check for comeback news from time to time, but there’s never any updates.

-They're wasting the prime years of her career and life like this… They must be crazy.

-What do those employees even do when they go to work? Is everyone just slacking off? ....Give her a comeback already.

-She’s never even had a solo concert? That’s so mean… The Black Label really doesn't seem to be doing any work. It's not any different for MEOVV.

-Teddy is a great producer, but he’s awful at managing artists.

-115 employees??? What exactly do they do all day? I’m seriously curious.

-Wow, that's bad.. I thought she had completely stopped promotions as a singer.

-I know all of her title tracks... Why are they wasting the potential of such a talented artist...?

-How long has it been since she debuted, and she still doesn't have a fan club...?

-It’s not YG but The Black Label, though honestly, they're not much different.

-I never expected The Black Label to keep her THIS inactive… They seem to be the worst company ever.
