What makes you feel uncomfortable reading Lee Seunggi's statement?

For me, it's the way he implies the public is easily influenced and makes it sound as if the judiciary are liarsㅋㅋㅋ

In the statement, he said that Lee Da In didn't choose who get to be her parents. Therefore, it's not Lee Da In's fault. Of course, it's not right for a child to be blamed for their parents' wrongdoing. But these child are usually using the money their parents swindled from the victims to live in luxury, switching between saying 'our parents' when it benefits them and 'myself' when they receive criticism.

There are victims involved and she comes from a family of scammers who received a prison sentence. Now he's upset because the public is turning their back on him? Who does he think he is, the prince of our country?

I wouldn't mind their own business, they can act all lovey-dovey all they want, I just want the media to stop paying attention

1. [+1704][-11] He said that people around him tried to stop their marriage, which means he knows what he's getting into, right? He chose his eternal love and no one can't stop him, but now he wants love from the public too? Isn't he being too greedy?

2. [+1452][-11] I understand that there are some exaggerations regarding the 2016 stock manipulation scandal, but if he really wanted to clarify it, he could've just explained it. However, he also talked about how his girlfriend couldn't choose her parents, how he couldn't just break up with his girlfriend because of her parents, etc. Lee Da In's step-father had already been imprisoned for stock manipulation or something, married to Lee Da In's mother, Kyeon Miri, in 2011, and was again embroiled in stock manipulation scandal in 2016. Both cases were reported by the news, it wasn't like Lee Da In was a woman whose family nobody knew about, the majority of Koreans know that her family is problematic. How could the public ask him to break up with his girlfriend just because of her family situation? It's ridiculous when he said that his girlfriend couldn't choose her parents. I don't know why he could say something so irresponsible. Don't they realize how much economic hardship some people went through during their childhood? In the public's eyes, Lee Da In is a wealthy woman who lives in a great house, wears nice clothes, and plays golf, despite not starring in many dramas as an actress. Lee Seunggi was scammed by Hook Ent. and received compensation money from them, is it rational to donate all that money and still have a grand wedding with his unpopular girlfriend and live comfortably without worrying about money in the future? That money is all from fans who supported him, isn't it? Shouldn't they at least show consideration to fans and the public and just wait for time to resolve things? How many young women out there at Lee Da In's age are struggling financially?  Just how much does he expect us to adore Lee Da In with warm hearts when she's a woman who has a good life because of her parents, married to a wealthy boyfriend after becoming an actress due to her parents' influence, and has an expensive hobby which is golf? Lee Seunggi himself has lived a successful life as a popular entertainer because of his fans, shouldn't he be more humble toward his fans? And the way he implies the public is easily influenced makes him sound really arrogant. Does he expect us to give a standing ovation to Lee Da In, the daughter of a wealthy family who lives a luxurious life just by breathing?

3. [+1292][-9] Why does he use his 'good man' image to help the perpetrators to rebuild their image...? Does he expect the public to love that family...? He should've stayed quiet...
