Kim Jinwoo revealed that he is open to public dating but prefers to not get married.

On the 6th, MBN/Channel S 'Jeon Hyunmoo's Plan 3' aired an episode featuring WINNER's Kim Jinwoo and Kang Seungyoon, as they went on a food trip to Anyang with Jeon Hyunmoo and Kwaktube.

On that day, Kim Jinwoo said that dating publicly is one of his wishes. Hearing this, Jeon Hyunmoo, who has been in two public relationships, laughed and said, "That's quite a wish."

Kim Jinwoo shared his thoughts, saying, "I feel like if I date someone, I think I could be open about it. I don't want to try hard to hide something that happens naturally."

Kwaktube then said to Jeon Hyunmoo, "As an expert, could you give some advice?" Jeon Hyunmoo replied, "Didn't I tell you? Public dating is not something that you try to do. It just happens."

Jeon Hyunmoo added, "I guess he has thoughts of marriage," to which Kim Jinwoo replied, "I have no thoughts to get married," and confessed that he is the 'non-marrying' type. Hearing this, Jeon Hyunmoo reacted in disbelief, "He's unique."

When everyone asked, "What do you mean?" Kim Jinwoo repeated, "If I date someone, I'll make it public."

In response, Jeon Hyunmoo said, "Then let it be known through this show. If you date Kim Jinwoo, don't even dream of marriage. He only wants to date." Kang Seungyoon added, "You will be known to the whole world as his girlfriend, but there'll be no marriage. Enter this relationship with a prepared mind."

Kim Jinwoo joked, "Be prepared," drawing laughter from everyone.

Jeon Jongseo belatedly registers her separate agency after three years

SOURCE: [단독] 전종서, 별도 기획사 3년만에 '늑장 등록'

It has been revealed that actress Jeon Jongseo registered her independent agency as a public culture and arts management business after a significant delay. However, her agency drew a clear line between this case and recent 'tax evasion allegations' involving stars and their one-person agencies.

On the 10th, it was confirmed that Jeon Jongseo registered 'Summer Co., Ltd.,' which she founded in June 2022, as a public culture and arts management business on the 4th. This marks a 'late registration' for nearly about 3 years and 8 months after the company was founded. Jeon Jongseo serves as the CEO, while her boyfriend, Director Lee Chunghyun, is listed as the internal director of the company.

The company listed its business purposes as: ▲ film and drama content production, development, distribution, and agency services ▲actor entertainment and management ▲ rental of film and broadcast equipment and facilities ▲ content planning and sales.

Under current law, registration as a public culture and arts planning business is required to operate a management agency. It is assumed that Jeon Jongseo registered her company belatedly because she just learned this requirement.

Regarding this, her agency ANDMARQ stated that the delayed registration has nothing to do with 'intentional hiding' or 'tax evasion.'

A representative from ANDMARQ stated, "Summer was established to form a partnership between an actress and a director to plan projects together. In fact, Director Lee Chunghyun's directing and screenwriting contracts, as well as MV production back in 2024, were carried out through this company."

Regarding the late registration, the representative added, "Since management was not the company's main business, we didn't realize we needed to register it at first. After becoming aware of related issues recently, we corrected the matter."

They also explained that this case is completely unrelated to the recent controversies about stars using separate companies for tax evasion (or tax avoidance). The representative said, "Jeon Jongseo has nothing to do with the tax avoidance or evasion issues. After signing an exclusive contract with ANDMARQ, all income from her entertainment activities has been paid directly to the actress personally."

Lawyer Noh Jongeon, CEO and lawyer at Law Firm Jonjae, commented, "Recently, many stars have established one-person agencies but didn't register it because they're inexperienced or lack the knowledge of legal procedures. This belated registration, which is related to her inexperience, is very regretful."

TOP COMMENTS:

1. [+513][-4] So basically everyone in the entertainment industry was making backdoor loopholes to embezzle money and evade taxesㅋㅋ

2. [+460][-2] Guess they were nervous all this time. What are they going to do now that it looks like they got caught?

3. [+399][-1] Alright~ Let’s start a deep investigation and shake out all the dust.

4. [+49][-1] There have been so many articles about this for years. I wonder how many empty-headed celebrities still haven’t even registered yet?

5. [+33][-1] If it’s not for saving money on taxes(?), there’s no reason to start a one-person agencyㅋㅋㅋ I mean... Do you know how much hassle it is to set up a company...?ㅋㅋㅋ

'Single's Inferno' Yoon Hajeong takes another direct shot at Choi Mina Sue ... "All the guys left her"

SOURCE: '솔로지옥' 윤하정, 최미나수 또 직격..."남자들 다 떨어져나갔다"

Yoon Hajeong, who starred in 'Single's Inferno 3,' pointed out 'Single's Inferno 5' contestant Choi Mina Sue for her indecisive behavior.

on the 8th, Yoon Hajeong reviewed episodes 8 to 10 of the Netflix's 'Single's Inferno 5' on her Youtube channel, 'Doldolha.' In these episodes, Choi Mina Sue went to Paradise with Song Seungil.

However, instead of focusing on Song Seugil, Choi Mina Sue seemed to be more worried about Lim Subeen, who went to Paradise with Park Hesun. When Choi Mina Sue kept looking down from the hotel at the outdoor pool where Lim Subeen and Park Heesun were, Yoon Hajeong grew irritated and said, "Ugh... Why does she keep looking?"

Choi Mina Sue, who went to Paradise for the first time with Lim Subeen, asked Song Seungil, "Doesn't your first trip to Paradise feel kinda like first love?" Hearing this, Yoon Hajeong expressed her frustration, saying, "Why does she keep putting so much meaning on the first trip to Paradise?" Later, when Choi Mina Sue said she wanted to go to the next Paradise with Samuel Lee, Yoon Hajeong resignedly commented, "I guess she just wants to go with everyone."

When Choi Mina Sue still couldn't make up her mind despite having long conversations, Song Seungil confessed his feelings, saying, "Do whatever you want. I just want to go back to Inferno quickly. I don't want to behere anymore." In response, Yoon Hajeong commented, "Song Seungil is probably thinking, 'Why did you even bring me here then?'" She added, "From what I can see, all the guys have already lost interest in her and left."

"Cha Eunwoo's tax information leaked, tax officials and journalist to be reported" ... Civic group steps in again

SOURCE: "차은우 과세 정보 유출, 세무공무원 및 기자 고발" 시민단체 또 나섰다 [왓IS]

Regarding the controversy over Cha Eunwoo's additional tax assessment of 20 billion KRW, the civic group called the Korea Taxpayers Association announced they will report the tax officials and reporters who leaked his tax information.

On the 9th, the Korea Taxpayers Association announced, "At 11 AM tomorrow (10th), regarding the tax information related to Cha Eunwoo's tax audit that was leaked to the media, we plan to report the unidentified tax official who disclosed the tax information of Cha Eunwoo and also the journalist who reported it. We will file the report to the National Investigation Headquarters of the National Police Agency on charges of violating the Personal Information Protection Act and leaking official secrets under he Criminal Act."

Recently, it was reported that Cha Eunwoo underwent a strict, unscheduled tax audit by the Investigation Bureau 4 of the Seoul Regional Tax Office in July last year and was notified of an additional tax assessment totaling over 20 billion KRW. The National Tax Service determined that the company registered under his mother's name was used to route his income without providing real services. However, Cha Eunwoo's side has responded, saying that the company in question is a formally registered management business that carried out real business activities.

The Korea Taxpayers Association is a professional civic group that protects the rights of taxpayers. On the 29th of last month, they defended Cha Eunwoo in a press conference, saying, "Tax avoidance is a taxpayer's right. Criticizing someone as a tax evader simply because they were notified of additional tax assessment is looking at tax only from the government's perspective."

The association also pointed out, "Calling the company under his mother's name a 'paper company' goes against the rule that someone is innocent until proven guilty." They added, "This could create a bad image before the legal process is finished, which infringes the taxpayers' right."

Meanwhile, Cha Eunwoo's agency, Fantagio, stated, "The matters currently raised are at the stage where facts are being checked according to tax authority procedures. The agency and the artist are both fully cooperating with the investigation. Once the legal and administrative decisions are clear, we will responsibly take the necessary steps based on those results."

TOP COMMENTS:

1. [+452][-11] 'Tax avoidance is a taxpayer's right'? What kind of nonsense is that?

2. [+380][-5] What kind of bullshit is this?

3. [+339][-4] Oh. So he’s decided to just stay a villain, I guess.

4. [+23][-0] What kind of total bullshit is this...

5. [+23][-0] Tax avoidance is an act of reducing tax burdens through methods not intended by the law. How is that a taxpayer's right? Are they saying there’s a right to do something illegal? Or are they saying it’s a separate issue from taking responsibility for breaking the law?

'The Glory' Yeonjin in real life ... All weathercasters leave MBC, system abolished after 31 years

SOURCE: 현실판 '더 글로리' 연진이…김가영 등 MBC 기상캐스터 '전원 퇴사·31년만 폐지' [스타이슈]

From the late Oh Yoanna's colleague, Geum Chaerim, to seniors Lee Hyunseung, Kim Gayoung, and Choi Ahri, all MBC freelance weathercasters have left MBC as their contracts expired.

On the 8th, Geum Chaerim wrote on her social media, "Last Friday (the 6th), I delivered my last weather forecast as a weathercaster. During my 5 years at MBC, I was always happy and excited to share the weather in front of the camera. I have no regrets because I did my best in every broadcast. However, I'm honestly sad and heavy-hearted at the thought of losing a job and work I loved."

Not only Geum Chaerim, but Lee Hyunseung, Kim Gayoung, and Choi Ahri all finished their contracts with MBC. Except for Geum Chaerim, these three, along with A who resigned last year, were named as the alleged perpetrators of workplace bullying against Oh Yoanna. At the time of her death, a 17-page suicide note was found on her phone, containing accounts of the suffering she endured due to workplace bullying at MBC.

In particular, in a group chat involving A, Kim Gayoung, Choi Ahri, and Lee Hyunseung, it was discovered that they were bad mouthing the late Oh Yoanna, saying such thing as, "She's totally a crazy b*tch," "She smells," "What a freak," and "At least Yeonjin (from 'The Glory') was good at her job." The bereaved family claimed, "The real devils are Lee Hyunseung and Kim Gayoung," adding, "A and Choi Ahri bullied her openly, but Lee Hyunseung and Kim Gayoung bullied her secretly behind her back. Those two didn't even come to the funeral."

However, after a special investigation in May last year, MBC concluded they couldn't find enough evidence to identify three of the four named individuals as perpetrators and only terminated A's contract.

Especially, in September last year, MBC announced a plan to abolish the freelance weathercaster system despite opposition from the bereaved family. As a result, the weathercaster system was abolished after 31 years, and instead of renewing contracts with the existing weathercasters, MBC hired new full-time 'weather and climate experts.'

Meanwhile, Oh Yoanna's family is continuing a lawsuit against A, seeking 510 million KRW in damages.

TOP COMMENTS:

1. [+548][-11] This issue blew up ages ago. MBC is really not normal. They act all righteous, but when it comes to their own employee being a victim, they’re completely cold-hearted.

2. [+389][-10] Bring Oh Yoanna back to life.

3. [+327][-5] Leaving the company is one thing, but what about the charges?

4. [+29][-1] They went all out reporting about scandals at other companies and deaths on the Coupang case, but keep their mouths shut about workplace bullying and death at their own company. We see your double standards, MBCㅋㅋ

5. [+26][-0] Just fire everyone and replace them with AI.

'Drug offender' T.O.P said he was retiring ... Now making a solo comeback with Nana

SOURCE: '마약사범' 탑, 은퇴한다더니…나나 손잡고 솔로가수 컴백까지[종합]

T.O.P (Choi Seunghyun), who was convicted on drug charges, is returning to the music industry, breaking his past promise that he wouldn't make a comeback.

T.O.P is currently preparing a new solo song with the goal of releasing it in the first half of the year. Previously on November 29, 2024, when a fan asked, "DOOM DADA 2.0 WHEN?" he replied, "2025." This means that his solo comeback is a bit later than planned.

Singer and actress Nana will appear in the MV for the new song. Regarding this, Nana's agency, Sublime, told Newsen on the 9th, "She will be appearing in T.O.P's new MV."

This new song will be T.O.P's first solo release in about 13 years. His last solo release was the album 'DOOM DADA,' released in November 2013.

This is also his first solo song since his marijuana controversy. T.O.P debuted in 2006 as a member of BIGBANG alongside G-Dragon, Taeyang, Daesung, and Seungri, releasing numerous hit songs as a group, sub-unit, and solo artist. In February 2017, he enlisted as a conscripted police officer and appeared to be serving diligently. Later, it was revealed that he had smoked marijuana at his home in 2016 prior to his enlistment, leading to a controversy. In July 2017, he was sentenced to 10 months in prison with a two-year suspended sentence, becoming a convicted offender.

After the drug scandal, he did not completely stop all his music activities. Even after his guilty verdict, while still under YG Ent., he participated in the recording and MV of BIGBANG's digital single 'Still Life' released in April 2022. However, on May 31, 2023, he officially confirmed that he was no longer part of the group as he responded to a fan's question, saying, "I already said that I left BIGBANG. I'm facing a new chapter in my life."

After leaving BIGBANG he has focused on acting and liquor business. After starring in movies like 'Commitment' (2013), 'Tazza: The Hidden Card' (2014), and web drama 'Secret Message' (2015), he resumed his acting career after 9 years by starring in 'Squid Game' Season 2, released on Netflix on December 26, 2024. His first official public appearance in South Korea after the drug controversy was at the 'Squid Game' Season 3 finale event held in Seoul last June.

Given that there are many talented actors who follow the law, questions arose as to why 'Squid Game' director Hwang Donghyuk chose to cast an actor with a drug record. At a press conference, Director Hwang explained, "I cast the actor I believed was most suitable for the role, or discovered them through auditions. I followed that principle for this project as well."

Director Hwang added, "In Choi Seunghyun's case, by the time we decided to cast him, quite a lot of time had passed. The sentence had already been finished and the probation period had already ended. I thought that enough time had passed for him to start working again. Although it became controversial, I had already gone through a long process with him. I decided the only option was to show reporters and viewers through the final result why I had to work with him on this project."

He added, "I personally think that once you watch the result, you'll understand that this was not an easy decision for us. It likely wasn't an easy choice for Choi Seunghyun either. Please wait a little longer and make your judgment again once the work is released."

With his appearance in 'Squid Game' and now a solo comeback, T.O.P's previous hints at retirement have become meaningless. In October 2019, when a netizen commented, "Reflect on yourself and don't ever comeback," T.O.P replied, "Yes! Oh God! I have no intention of doing so either."

TOP COMMENTS:

1. [+127][-6] They kind of a perfect match since both of them are full of bluffing.

2. [+72][-4] If he was going to act like this, why did he say he was retiring as if he had no regrets? Those remarks he said in the heat of anger is going to follow him like a tag for the rest of his life now.

3. [+52][-0] ??? Don’t worry, he’s not doing music in South Korea.

4. [+19][-2] Because of him, now I know what drug-user eyes look like.

5. [+16][-4] He can’t rap for shit, and his voice isn’t even suited for singing, so what exactly is he trying to do?
