UNIQ's Sungjoo Admits Being a Married Man and a Father: "Sorry for Not Being Honest"

 

UNIQ's Sungjoo has admitted to being a married man and also a father.

On the 2nd, Sungjoo posted on his personal account, "I apologize for surprising many people with sudden news through online communities and social media, and for not showing my true self honestly."

He continued, "I wanted to quickly convey the news to the fans who always support and love me, but I couldn't say it because of the cautious situation." He added, "Although it's late, I will honestly say that I will walk the days ahead beautifully as a sincere father and husband with my precious family."

Earlier, according to Chinese press reports on the 18th (local time), Sungjoo's suspicion of being a father arose during a live broadcast commemorating his birthday, when fellow team member Moonhan sent a voice message saying, "Is your son sleeping now? Tell him to come and hug his uncle quickly." Sungjoo, unable to hide his surprise, hastily ended the voice message.

Sungjoo debuted as part of the boy group UNIQ in 2014 and served as the leader of the team. Although the official disbandment of the team has not been announced, all members are currently pursuing individual activities. Sungjoo is currently active in China.

As a Rookie Girl Group from a Small to Medium-Sized Company, IVE is Currently Doing Quite Well on Their World Tour

 

They are doing quite well in places with a large-scale setup, managing to impressively sell out. Despite being a small to mid-sized girl group, their overseas tour is expanding and doing really great.

Actually, due to the uproar in the comments, I'll add some clarification. When I mentioned 'a place with a decent scale,' I didn't mean to belittle it. I just meant that, considering they are from a small to mid-sized agency and are rookies, they are doing well with a respectable scale. It wasn't meant to compare them with anyone else; it's just the reality of Starship and the fact that IVE is growing well. I didn't expect anyone to get upset about the 'small to mid-sized' part!

ㄴIt doesn't matter. Even STAYC's company is under Kakao, but they're still considered a small to medium-sized company because they only have STAYC. On the other hand, Starship has a relatively large company size despite being classified as a small to medium-sized company. Kakao Ent.'s management style is quite different, they don't intervene in the operation of their subsidiaries company. 

-OP: I classified Starship as a small to mid-sized company because IVE is doing tours with large-scale despite still being a rookie group. Besides, Starship isn't one of the Top 4 Companies anyway.

Liking Idols is So Pathetic, Seriously

My sister is already old enough and yet she still behaves so immaturely, unable to distinguish between reality and her obsession for idols. It's frustrating. 

She earns money from her job, but spends 90% of it on idols, still relying on our parents for her living expenses. 

Due to her obsession with idols, she holds extremely high standards for appearance.  She gave up on marriage and refuses to even consider dating. I really want to smash her iPad and phone. 

I really want to wake her up and tell her that idols won't live her life on their behalves. I'm only enduring this all because she's my older sister.

-Even being a fan should be done in moderation.

-Spending 90% of your income on idols is unacceptable. She should set aside some for her own living expenses.
