It's dawn, I have nothing to do, and I just got really interested in his eyes so I looked up some pics and gifs of it.
If you look closely, there are times when his iris was bigger than the contact lenses that he wears..
Look at his eyes, the black circle outside his contact lenses are his actual iris, right?
