 Hello, this is Cha Hyunseung. 

In early June, my life came to an abrupt halt as I was rushed into the emergency room.
Until then, I had passed the final audition for all the projects I'd dreamed of and was running towards my goals, but a diagnosis of leukemia brought everything to a stop. 

At first, even I couldn't accept it, and I couldn't tell anyone. 
Every day was filled with fear and confusion. 

Now, with time, I finally feel ready to speak honestly.
I'm currently undergoing treatment, fighting quietly day by day. 

The road ahead is still long, but I am determined to overcome it.
My dreams and passion are still alive, and I'm holding on, waiting for the day I can stand once again on stage and in front of the camera. 

To everyone who has supported me, knowingly or unknowingly, I offer my heartfelt gratitude. 
I will overcome this and return stronger and warmer than before. 

Today, I'm practicing hope.

-Hul... I wonder what auditions those were. I thought he'd be an amazing actor. It's even more heartbreaking to hear that he did well in the auditions. Get well soon!

-The statement "I will overcome this" is just very cool...

-I hope he makes a full recovery and can freely do everything he wants again. Fighting!

-To all the cancer patients, including myself, let's stay strong and overcome this together. I'll pray for a speedy recovery for Hyunseung-nim as well.

-He was also my idol's dancer... I hope he recovers soon so I can see him on stage and acting again.

-My cousin also suffered from leukemia, so this doesn't feel like someone else's storyㅠㅠㅠㅠ Please get well soon!!

3rd Gen idol shares a story about a broadcast accident that sounds like something a sociopath would do

They were asked if there was a broadcast accident that left a deep impression on them 

Mijoo: My stylist made a mistake. It was during our 'Destiny' promotions, and we were dancing in heels that were this tall.

Mijoo: I noticed the sole had come off, it was gone. 

(She said the sole was missing. It was supposed to prevent slipping)

Mijoo: I noticed the sole had come off, it was gone. 

(Mijoo realized the sole was missing right before the stage and asked the staff to change it, but they told her there was no time and she had to go on stage)

Mijoo: I twisted my ankle once. I had to clench my fist and hold back tears and continue to perform. But I kept stumbling. 

Mijoo: At the end, I fell. I somehow finished the stage by forcing strength into my big toe. 

Mijoo: When I went to the ER, they said my ligament was torn and I had to stop promotions. Then a staff member of my company told me, "Too bad it wasn't caught on camera"

Seulgi: They mean like... Noise marketing? They should think of the person first.

Youngji: They all can go to hell.

After that, she mostly performed wearing sneakers.

First, they let her perform on stage with heels without soles and then said something like that after she tore a ligament. I was so shocked that I had to write this post in 10 minutes.

12-Episode format

"It's great because it doesn't drag on," "I like how the story doesn't feel stretched out," etc

"Too short to fully cover the story," "It's just getting good now and the finale is already coming," etc

-12 episodes is too shortㅠㅠ I think 14 episodes would be just right.

-I think it's way too shortㅠㅠㅠ

-It's a bit disappointing, but 16 episodes often feel dragged out, so I prefer having the fast-paced formatㅠ

-These days, 12 episodes seems just right. If it's longer than that, I just stop watching.

-I understand why dramas go with 12 episodes, but I'm a bit sad about thatㅠ Please give us a more strong build-upㅠㅠ

-I think dramas should be at least 14 episodes. With 12 episodes, just when something is about to happen, it ends.

-Let's go with 14 episodes. Since I'm already used to the 12-episode format, the extra 2 episodes would feel like a bonus and that's niceㅋㅋ

-I like the 12-episode format.

-It's way too short... I feel like it's too focused on the main characters' storyline and it becomes predictable. Please make it 15 episodes.

-I don't like it. Dramas should be 16 episodes longㅠ

-12 episodes is too short and 16 is too long. So, I'm gonna go with 14 episodes.

-I love love love it. Especially for rom-coms and melodramas, 12 episodes is just perfect. Otherwise, they drag.

-It's too short. I feel like there isn't much story to it.

-'S Line' is actually not that bad.

-These days, it's really hard to even get a drama produced... Maybe unique storylines + casting famous actors are what matter more now. All the dramas listed in this post were highly praised for having interesting concepts before they even aired.

-I was really looking forward to 'Queen Mantis,' but aside from Go Hyunjung's acting, everything else is below standard.

-I get what the OP means... There are so many dramas this year where one second you're enjoying it, then the next second you go '???'

-There was one drama that was truly trash. The one starred by Lee Jinwook and Shin Hyesun, 'Dear Hyeri.'

-I'm actually still enjoying 'Queen Mantis,' though...

-Isn't 'Queen Mantis' quite okay? To be honest, I only watched the beginning.

-Where have all the real writers gone?

-'Queen Mantis' doesn't deserve to be grouped with these dramas, though...

-'Twelve'.......... It's so childish, I had to stop watching.

-Just how bad is it...?

KARA's Kang Jiyoung opens up about refusing 'Radio Star's request to do aegyo ... "My dog was sick. I was just a teenager"

 

KARA's Kang Jiyoung recalled the time she burst into tears after refusing a request for aegyo on 'Radio Star.'

On the 26th, a video featuring BIGBANG's Daesung, KARA's Kang Jiyoung and Heo Youngji was posted on the Youtube channel 'ZipDaesung.'

Back in 2013, Kang Jiyoung, who appeared on 'Radio Star' with Han Seungyoun and the late Goo Hara, became visibly distressed when pressured by the MCs to show aegyo. She eventually burst into tears while attempting to do it. This unexpectedly escalated into a controversy over her 'attitude,' drawing criticism from the public. At the time, Kang Jiyoung was only 19 years old in Korean age.

Looking back, Kang Jiyoung said, "After that, I developed a slight fear and anxiety toward Korean variety shows. I felt like I had failed to handle it properly."

Daesung reassured her, "Let's talk about it honestly. It's not like that you refused because you didn't want to do it." Kang Jiyoung revealed, "That's right. I've never told anyone before, but my dog was sick that day."

She explained, "My dog suddenly got sick, so I had to go to the vet. I wasn't in a good mood that day. As a professional, I shouldn't have shown it on broadcast, but after the member before me cried and the focus came to me, I got carried in the mood and ended up saying, 'I can't do it.' I think it was just because I was a teenager."

Daesung empathized, saying, "At that age, it's totally understandable. For me, if someone had made the mood lighter, maybe I could've done it. But when the mood shifted from tears, it's not easy to be the mood changer and do aegyo."

When Kang Jiyoung said, "If you ask me to do it now, I'll do anything," Daesung replied, "Then shall we see the aegyo you couldn't do back then?" Jiyoung laughed it off, saying, "These days, aegyo is not something you should force. Isn't flirting kinda feels like aegyo?" and then made everyone laugh by acting out a blind date scenario, asking "Can I get drunk today?"

-The MCs were really mean back then. Even at that time, I thought KARA getting criticized was a witch hunt.

-I didn't understand why she got so much hate at that time... Why ask her to do aegyo in the first place?
