Singer and actress Yoon Eunhye opened up about her struggles in the entertainment industry.
On the 14th, a video titled 'Ep 7. Everything has an end! (Rejecting college drinking parties, making friends in middle school, career anxiety, etc.) | Yoon Eunhye's sleepless night' was posted on her Youtube channel 'Eunhye Log In.'
In the video, Yoon Eunhye read a story from subscribers and offered advices. One subscriber, a piano major, shared that they feel stressed about achieving good results among their talenteed peers.
Yoon Eunhye started by saying that she could relate to the story, saying, "Because of the nature of my profession, I am constantly being evaluated. And I've been in that kind of environment for nearly 30 years."
She continued, "I've always had feelings of depression because of that. That's why my self-esteem is very low, even now."
She added, "But I like this job. Even though I feel frustrated, disappointed, failed, and sad, I still like this job. When things get really hard, I sometimes think 'I don't want to do anything.' But I still enjoy my job and I personally think I'm good at it. I'm not forcing myself to do it," expressing her love for her job.
She then offered an advice, "When you are in the role of delivering something you love, like playing the piano, if you go into an exam with the mindset of 'I'm not enjoying this' or 'I have to do well,' you would fail to move the teachers who evaluate you with the emotion that your music is supposed to give, don't you think so?"
