A 30-year-old man has been arrested by the police for posting insulting comments about the families of Jeju Air plane crash victims on an online community.

According to the Cyber Crime Investigation Unit of the Jeonnam Provincial Police Agency on the 4th, the man, identified as A, was arrested around 2:10 PM for posting derogatory comments mocking the families of Jeju Air plane crash victims.

A is accused of posting a defamatory comment about the compensation for the Jeju Air victims' families on an internet community site from his home in Seoul on the 31st of last month, which was three days after the tragedy occurred.

A told the police his motive for the crime, saying, "I wrote it without thinking after seeing the news." The police are planning to decide on further action after investigating any additional crimes committed by A.c

The police are also investigating eight other insulting posts related to the Jeju Air plane crash victims and their families.

Earlier, starting from the 1st, the police formed 'Special Investigation Team for Malicious Posts Related to the Jeju Air Accident' led by the head of the National Investigation Headquarters.

I don't really hate Poongja, but I find it uncomfortable and strange when they talk and act as if they understand women's feelings.
