Byun Wooseok reveals his ideal type, "I like women who don't swear... I tend to get deeply involved emotionally"

 

Byun Wooseok shared, "I generally like romantic comedy genres, and I loved this story because it’s about a love that puts everything on the line for the other person. Isn't the character similar to Noah from 'The Notebook'?" He had also mentioned the Noah character during an interview for the 2022 Netflix series '20th Century Girl'.

When asked about his own dating style, he explained, "I tend to get deeply involved emotionally with the other person," noting a similarity to the character Ryu Sunjae.

Regarding his ideal type, which he had mentioned in a past interview, he said, "My preferences for physical appearance keep changing. What’s more important is that our personalities match well. We need to have good conversations," adding, "I have some foolish traits, so I like wise women."

When the reporters laughed, Byun Wooseok quickly joked, "That was a bit of a formal answer...(haha)," but then stressed, "But it's true. Good conversation is important." When asked to share something more specific than the common ideal type, Byun pondered for about 10 seconds before answering, "I like women who don't swear." He added with a smile, "It sounds a bit funny, but I like people who speak nicely."

Byun Wooseok, "On the first Monday without 'Sunjae', I'll probably absent-mindedly eat fruit"

 

What is Byun Wooseok doing on the first Monday without 'Lovely Runner'? Actor Byun Wooseok revealed his plans for the first Monday evening after the end of "Lovely Runner" in an interview with 'Sports Kyunghyang.'

"Lovely Runner" which aired on tvN on Mondays and Tuesdays, ended with its 16th episode on the 28th. Although the ratings were in the 5~7% range, it gained popularity close to a 'syndrome.' In particular, actor Byun Wooseok, who played the role of Ryu Sunjae, a character who stimulated the emotions of many viewers, ranking among the best youth stars produced in 2024.

However, life after the end of the drama feels unfamiliar for him too. Through the interview, he expressed his feelings about facing the first Monday without Sunjae on June 3rd.

Byun Wooseok said, "Usually during the broadcast period, I had a routine of exercising at 8 p.m. When I get home, it's usually the end of 'Lovely Runner' so I watch the end live and watch it again when it comes up on OTT later."

First of all, we apologize once again for any inconvenience. We have revised the entry criteria for Jin's offline event as follows:

For those who purchased Jin's solo single 'The Astronaut' or BTS's 'Proof' on Weverse Shop GLOBAL before the announcement on June 2, 2024, at 11 a.m. (KST), regardless of any new purchase history, you are eligible to enter the event.

Furthermore, for those who purchased albums ('Proof', 'The Astronaut', 'Indigo', 'FACE', 'D-DAY', 'Jack in the Box', 'Layover', 'GOLDEN', 'HOPE ON THE STREET VOL. 1', 'Right Place, Wrong Person') after the announcement on June 2, 2024, at 11 a.m. (KST) and entered the event, the previously announced entry criteria will still apply without any changes, considering that no one should be disadvantaged.

Additionally, the first part of the offline event, 'Jin's Greetings,' has been confirmed through extensive discussions between the artists and the operating department. We will ensure thorough safety management for both fans and artists through pre-rehearsals and other measures.
