An industry insider who participated in BTS V's MV production shares a story of Min Heejin


I want to share my experience working on V's solo album MV last spring. While working with Min Heejin domestically and internationally, there were some aspects that I felt.

I was impressed by her focus on understanding the subject (V) as a person and bringing out his "real" self, always taking care of the people she works with, and her leadership based on trust, where she entrusted work to others. (Of course, I received fair credit.)

From the perspective of someone involved in the project, the time I spent working with CEO Min was a meaningful experience, it was more than just doing the job I was paid for. It was a valuable experience where we could create something meaningful together. If there are opportunities to work with her in the future, I would like to participate with joy.

The view counts of TWS' Comeback Album Teaser that was released yesterday

What I want to say is... Despite the legendary trend that 'Plot Twist' created, their fandom scale seems small.

K-pop fans are raged as ILLIT's Magnetic keeps playing on their auto-play (ft. Spotify)


 

In Spotify, Magnetic automatically plays after KITSCH.

Drama -> Magnetic

I AM -> Magnetic

Perfect Night -> Magnetic

Midas Touch -> Magnetic

Easy -> Magnetic

SHEESH -> Magnetic

If you look at these tweets, Magnetic automatically plays not only after K-pop songs but also behind songs by Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift. 

It seems that there are fans who feel tired because only one song is played repeatedly, even though Spotify's autoplay is a legal activity, like YouTube promotions. 

Spotify's algorithm is crap. By the way, after switching to YouTube Music, my music taste improved because Spotify's recommendations were lowering my standards.

Another fan is extremely frustrated by Spotify's auto-play

ILLIT's 'Magnetic' Surpasses 200 M Streams on Spotify.

-I use Youtube Music and this song sticks just like a magnet there, too. So, I just turn off the auto-recommendation and only listen to what I want. 

-Auto-play itself is not a problem, and it's not just ILLIT who does this. The problem is they're using the auto-play too excessively.

-Using auto-play for promotion is not a problem, the thing is that they're using it too much for a rookie group.

-Wow, I thought it was just me. I didn't know it was a promotion.
