The group Seventeen's leader, S.Coups, who had halted activities due to a cruciate ligament tear, has been exempted from military service.
According to a report by Xsports News on the 1st, S.Coups recently received a military exemption after undergoing a physical examination, thus avoiding mandatory military enlistment.
S.Coups underwent surgery and treatment for a knee injury in August last year. At that time, his agency, Pledis Entertainment, announced that S.Coups had injured his left knee while filming Seventeen content and was diagnosed with a tear in the anterior cruciate ligament of the left knee.
Subsequently, S.Coups suspended all activities, including the promotion of the new song "God of Music" and also missed out on the Japan tour schedule. He was unable to participate in the tvN show "Nana Tour" featuring Seventeen. It is reported that S.Coups received a military exemption due to this injury.
Having completed his treatment, S.Coups is soon expected to resume activities.
