Let me show you how serious the level 5 punishment is

Unfortunately, the perpetrators of this school violence case are underage and they're getting a light punishment because this wasn't reported to the court.

This is level 4 punishment

In July 2021, 4 students from a middle school in Kyungnam, Yangsan, assaulted and discriminated a female student who transferred from Mongolia for 6 hours, recorded it, and spread it online. According to the police, the assault did not only happen during that 6 hours. The perpetrators forced the victim to drink alcohol and then proceeded to tie the victim's hands and feet, burnt the victim with cigarette's butts, and forced the victim to eat horseradish. The perpetrators let the victim go, but threatened her that they will get their revenge if the victim dares to report the incident. They also forced her to hide the scars they caused. Not only assault, the perpetrators also left some racial discrimination remarks towards the victim.

This is the famous Yangsan case. Don't look up for the pictures, you'll be shocked.

Then what about the level 5 punishment?

The level 5 punishment is given to the perpetrators who require professional help both from inside and outside school to improve their awareness and reflect on their behavior. Back in 2020, there was a case where students sexually assaulted another student and threatened her to not tell anyone about it. The perpetrator was given the level 5 punishment and was told to stop going to school.

However, one of the perpetrators kept going to school after receiving the punishment. Hearing the news, the victim was stressed and got diagnosed of acute pancreatitis. After 3 days in ICU, the victim passed away.

Is given to a rape case. They did it as a group repetitively. The victim passed away. It's my first time hearing someone passed away from pancreatitis after getting it from too much stress.

This happened back in 2020. At first, the perpetrators were given the level 2 punishment. After being protested, the punishment was changed to level 5.

For your information, Kim Garam's case was in 2018.

The victim has to deal with the company's attack, even 5 years have passed. In the end, she even thought that it's all only coming to an end if she dies. We have come to the time where we see this happen.

If Kim Garam was a perpetrator back in 2018, Hybe is the perpetrator now in 2022.

The best entertainment company in South Korea in order to debut a school violence perpetrator told a 18 years old victim that she's the perpetrator. Not only that, the company also accussed her for spreading private pictures, saying that she deserved the violence, in front of the media. They embraced the perpetrator because she's a minor and using the power they have to influence the media. On the other hand, the victim was only 14 years old when the incident happened. She's only 18 years old, a young minor, when Hybe attacks her in 2022.

Taking a look at Level 5 Punishment

(NB: This is an example of a case where level 4 punishment was given)

The perpetrators forced A to drink 2 bottles of alcohol. A threw up and this became the reason for the perpetrators to assault her. A tried to escape barefoot, however, the perpetrators caught her. They tied her hands and feet up and assaulted her for nearly 6 hours. They made fun of A's nationality, drew insulting graphics on her face, dumped her head in the toilet, and even made her lick urine. As if recording the whole thing is not enough, the perpetrators also spread the video to their other friends. The video was sold for 5,000KRW (3.93USD). In the video was seen that 4 of the perpetrators assaulted A while laughing as A kneeled in front of them

The perpetrators were given Level 4 Punishment, which is to work on community service for 8 hours.

1. [+377][-1] What in the world did she do... It's so f*cking scary

2. [+339][-1] Those kids would've gotten a prison sentence if they were adults

3. [+323][-0] That means level 5 punishment is given to an even worse case...

4. [+146][-0] How did a 7th grader end up getting a level 5 punishment? It must be really brutal

5. [+118][-0] Guys, let's not just focus on the perpetrators, but also on the victim.

There are 9 types of punishment for school violence cases. The worst one is level 9, getting expelled from school. Unless you get the level 9 punishment, the record will all be erased once you graduate. In fact, the level 1 to 3 punishments is usually just being skipped if it's their first time committing the assault. They would be required to apologize, but this won't be written in their records. This is why reporting school violence cases usually just end up with the perpetrators getting scolded by their parents and the victims getting hate from their friends at school. It brings nothing good to the victims. In the end, the victims usually would drop out of school.

6. [+85][-4] Those who have watched Juvenile Justice on Netflix would know how serious the case must be to be given the level 5 punishmentㅋㅋㅋ

Kim Garam violence, 'Do you have disability because your mom has one?'

Hello. I used to be in the same class with Kim Garam back in 7th grade. I once accidentally dropped her pencil case, so I picked it up and apologized to her. She said, 'Do you have a disability because your mom has one? Are you blind? Don't go around if you're blind' etc. The next day, I got picked on by her friends and also received attacks on my Facebook page. I want to get back to her because I found it unfair, but I'm afraid they'll get revenge on me so I didn't. Can you post this on my behalf? I'm sorry if it makes you uncomfortable.

The head company made us shut our mouths. Hybe found the school where the victim, Yoo Eunseo, went to and made them shut their mouths.

[+2,298][-21]

1. [+887][-4] It gets me goosebumps how the company actually went to look to the school. Does every employee in that company have no conscience? They might have their kids, or maybe nieces or nephews, go to that school. Do they not feel any remorse when they go to find that school? Who came up with the idea to go to school and make the students shut their mouths? It's too much

2. [+763][-3] And they're still saying that she's the victim? Try to cover the whole sky with the palm of your hand if you can

3. [+691][-2] I bet Garam wouldn't even remember that she did such a thing. Because she's used to starting fights and causing problems regardless of time and place.

4. [+190][-1] This testimony from Garam's school colleague
'You would curse at me, call your friends, tell me to kneel in the hallway, and throw shopping bags at me every day. I remember that one day you ruined the whole mood during a math class and swore at herㅋㅋ'

5. [+149][-0] If a child has a disability because their parents have one, just imagine how evil of a satan Kim Garam's must be to give birth to such a monster.

6. [+135][-1] What is Kim Garam's relation to Hybe?

7. [+82][-0] I mean... They could've just kicked Kim Garam out. Why bother looking for students?

GD and Jennie broke up

GD unfollowed Jennie from his private acc. He's still following Rosé, Jisoo, and Lisa.

[+364][-34]

1. [+374][-75] Jennie could do so much better

2. [+349][-10] Celebrities unfollow each other when they break up...ㅋㅋㅋ I guess people are all the same...

3. [+268][-31] This is the best news I have heard this year

4. [+172][-6] They're both good-looking and famous but strangely just don't suit each other...

5. [+161][-67] She dated Kai, the hot guy, before and went to date a paper-like man... Of course, they won't last long.

6. [+116][-2] GD is still following Kiko Mizuhara and Nana Komatsu, whom both he had dated back then, though? I don't think he's the type of person who would unfollow his ex after breaking up. Maybe he has his own reason to unfollow her.

A Thai influencer claims, "Visiting Korea once is enough"

Q: South Korea compared to Japan as a tourist destination

A: South Korea is the country that the young generation wants to visit. The country is very competitive when it comes to K-Beauty, club culture, and pretty cafes. But that's all there to it. Especially when the older generation comes to visit the country, they use a tour package and the courses are usually very monotonous. The food they eat is mostly Bibimbap and Barbeque. Especially the 'Orange sauce' (Gochujang) is included in every food we eat, I don't think the older generation will like it so much. On the other hand, there's something new every time you visit Japan. Each of the travel destinations such as Mount Fuji, hot springs, etc, has its own unique color. Their food is also more varied. Every city and neighborhood has its own special souvenir that makes you want to buy them. It's very different from Insa-dong. South Korea is too focused on Seoul. I don't think a lot of Thai people know Busan.

theqoo

-There are a lot of beautiful places in South Korea, but not a lot of foreigners know about it...

-Everyone has their own preferences, I guess...

-I agree with her to some point. I think she prefers Japan.

-I have to agree with her. South Korea is a comfortable country to live in, but not to travel.

-Well... She didn't say anything that's wrong...

-She's rightㅋㅋ A foreign friend of mine visited Korea and said that there weren't a lot of places to visit.

-She's right. As a Korean, I find South Korea is boring, too.

-Then don't visit us through the travel packages. There are a lot of places to visit hereㅋㅋ

-Is Jeju Island not popular among foreigners? There are a lot of beautiful places in our country. It's a shame that they only know Seoulㅠㅠ

-She's right. I don't even travel in my own country.

-That's something that someone who only has visited Seoul would say.

-Honestly, we're all just pissed because we're compared to Japan. But if you read it thoroughly, she's stating facts.

-I don't want to judge someone's personal opinion. Maybe that's what she feels about our country.

The fact that the victim wasn't called up for taking a hidden-cam picture

is just bothering me. I think there's more to it. It just doesn't make sense that a private picture of her was spread online and she didn't do anything about it. On top of that, Kim Garam, who stepped up on her behalf, got the level 5 punishment instead?ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

pann

[+658][-18]

1. [+303][-1] I think she has her own reason for that. The school and office of education are not stupid. I'm just very sick of Hybe. It's a fact that Kim Garam got the level 5 punishment, but they keep twisting the fact so that the victim seems like the perpetrator. Are they really human?

2. [+272][-2] I think you should keep this in mind. For the accurate information, I think you can hear it from the legal side, right?

'The picture was not taken in a hidden-cam manner. She was taking a selfie and accidentally captured Kim Garam and her friend in the back. Her friend was not even just wearing her underwear, she was wearing something that exposed a little bit of skin. The picture was posted on Instagram and she told it to Kim Garam. Kim Garam asked her why she posted that picture and that girl told her own mother about it. Everything about school-transferring will be revealed through her legal reps tonight. The original text is way longer, but it's from an online community so the accuracy is still being questioned, that's why I didn't attach a screen capture of it'

3. [+190][-4] Logically, if I got the level 5 punishment for defending my friend, whose private picture was taken without permission, I would do something about it. If there was really a girl whose private picture was taken without permission, she should've said something when the rumors about Kim Garam's school violence surfaced online.

4. [+89][-0] It just doesn't make senseㅋㅋㅋ When a case is being opened, each party, teachers, office of education, and their parents were gathered and they all would be questioned and investigated. But it resulted in the person who took the hidden-cam manner being protected and Kim Garam got the level 5 punishment? We were all aware of hidden-cam even 4 years ago. In fact, we were even more aware of it than we are right now.

5. [+65][-0] The committee doesn't just give out level 5 punishment easily, especially to a middle school student. Level 6 punishment is usually given to sexual assault cases and level 4 for sexual harassment cases. Why would they give out the level 5 punishment to a case that didn't even involve physical violence? She got in a fight for defending her friend, whose private pictures were taken withoutt permission? What kind of nonsense is that? If she really did take pictures without permission, she would've gotten the same level 5 punishment. I'm sure Hybe is going to change their statements later.

Hybe, 'Kim Garam has never said she was a fan of a particular male artist'

5. The part that said "She badmouthed about another artist" is not fact.

The rumor spreading about Kim Garam talking about another artist in a rude and indecent way is malicious false information. Kim Garam has never said she was a fan of a particular male artist. She has never talked negatively about another female idol from her group or another girlgroup.

A new past picture of Kim Garam that surfaces online

You can see the word 'BTS' on her phone.

They're lying again.

theqoo

-Why would you put a sticker of a group's name if you're not a fan of them?ㅋㅋㅋ Why are they hiding the fact that she's a fan of BTS

-Why are they lying about this?

-Do they think we wouldn't catch them lying?

-So they're keeping their mouth shut when it comes to things that they have to clarify. Instead, they're speaking up about things that are unnecessary like this?

-Shouldn't Hybe protect BTS? Why are they only protecting KGR? There's nothing good coming out from them mentioning this. Why do they speak up about this in the first place?

-I'm pissed off that my idol, who did nothing wrong, is now related to this problematic girl

-I think Bang Sihyuk is not destined to produce a girl group...

-Why bother lying about the most obvious thing? Just kick her out

-? Why is Hybe protecting her? Who does she have behind her? It's really suspicious

-Just kick her out. What's so good about her that you keep lying just so you can keep her in your company?

-I'm not a fan but why isn't Hybe protecting BTS? What's the reason?
