Jung Junwon and Go Younjung's kiss scene

theqoo

-Ah... It's a bit hard to watch.

-He looks like Jung Haein.

-The directing is so bad... Who kisses like that?? It's so awkward.

-It's a bit badㅋㅋ I'm not hating on the actor, I just think the directing is too old-fashioned.

-It's been a while since the last time I saw a kiss scene this unromantic.

-If you only look at this scene, it might come off awkward... But it was actually okay when you watch the drama.

-Putting everything else aside, I think they just don't look good together. Their vibes are too different. I don't understand what's so heart-fluttering about them.

-It's really obvious that they have a huge age gap...ㅜ

-I think that scene looks just fine. What's wrong with everyone

-It's so good... Their acting gives me butterflies.

-The directing itself gives off '90s vibes.

-I don't watch that drama, but I think that scene looks okay.

-I think they look cute.

-Goo Dowon is doing just fine... I'm watching this drama just for their romance..

-What's wrong with this scene?

tvN's new Sat-Sun drama 'Resident Playbook' (Written by Kim Songhee, directed by Lee Minsoo, Lee Woojung) has confirmed its first broadcast for April 12th. The drama has also released a poster featuring the faces of the OBGYN residents at Jongno Yulje Hospital, a comeback teaser video, and a chaotic teaser video.

'Resident Playbook' is a spin-off drama from 'Hospital Playlist' that focuses on residents who dream of becoming wise doctors. The drama stars rising actress Go Yoonjung (as Oh Yiyoung), Shin Sia (as Pyo Namkyung), Kang Yooseok (as Eom Jaeil), Han Yeji (as Kim Sabi), and Jeong Junwon as (Goo Dowon).

The curiosity surrounding the daily life of the OBGYN department frows as the poster features the employee ID cards of the first-year residents Oh Yiyoung (Go Yoonjung), Pyo Namkyung (Shin Sia), Eom Jaeil (Kang Yooseok), and Kim Sabi (Han Yeji). The varied expressions in the ID photos give a glimpse into the unique personalities of these characters.

The production team stated, "We aim to depict a story that anyone in their early career can relate to, through the growth process of characters who lack knowledge, medical skills, and composure. Please look forward to seeing these young people navigate challenges in an unfamiliar workplace and find their own paths to growth."

Originally scheduled for broadcast in May of last year, 'Resident Playbook' was delayed due to the 'resident strike.' After about a year, it has now secured its premiere date. 'Resident Playbook' will air its first episode on April 12th at 9:10 PM.

-Ugh. I freaking hate this.

-In this situation......?

-Took a long time. There were many people waiting.

-I really hate it.

-Are they airing it now because they can’t postpone it any longer?

-Aren’t all dramas fantasy anyway? But people are only criticizing this one.

-Seeing how Joo Jihoon's drama did well, they probably thought there was no need to postpone this drama anymore.

-;;; I'm not watching this.

-Considering how successful 'The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call' was, I guess this one bound to air too.

-Did they think it's okay to go ahead and release it after seeing 'The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call' succeed?

-It's a bit too soon, though.

-I'll watch itㅠㅠ I just want to enjoy it as a drama.

-First of all, I'm gonna check this drama out once it airs.

-I'm looking forward to itㅠㅠ

-They probably saw potential after 'The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call' did wellㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I didn't watch that drama because of the drug offender, though.

tvN hesitated amidst the medical strike in South Korea ... Go Yoonjung's 'Resident Playbook' set to release in summer 2025

According to OSEN's coverage on the 13th, tvN's new drama 'Resident Playbook' is preparing to be released next year. The drama is gaining interest within the industry, especially as it's planned to be released in the summer.

In recent years, domestic broadcasters and OTT platforms have been flooded with legal and medical dramas, with doctors and lawyers being some of the most frequently seen characters. However, when residents in the medical field submitted mass resignations in opposition to the government's medical school expansion policy last year, leading to a prolonged healthcare strike, 'medical dramas' were put on hold. As public sentiment worsened, it became impossible to broadcast dramas about the dedication of doctors.

An industry insider told OSEN, "We are considering to release 'Resident Playbook' in summer 2025," drawing attention. Given the uncertainty of the ongoing medical strike, they decided to plan to release the drama next year. However, a tvN's reps responded cautiously, stating, "It is still undecided."

Currently, the industry predicts that the production and airing of medical dramas, including 'Resident Playbook,' which had been delayed until now, will resume.

-As someone who worked in a hospital, I watched the first episode of Hospital Playlist's first season and stopped watching because it was completely fictional. There are no doctors like that in real life.

-Finally, I get to see it ㅠㅠ I’d wait a few more years if I have to, I just want it to be released.

-I'm not gonna watch it.

-Another drama glorifying doctors.

-They're trying to clean the image of doctors in this drama. I wish they wouldn’t air this. There are so many people who are suffering out there.

-Don't air it... Do they really have to air it...?

-Ugh, I know people will watch it anyway and there will be tons of posts about it here.

-I'm not watching this. Isn't it ridiculous to consume this kind of content? I was rejected by an ER and drove around in an ambulance, so thinking about it makes my blood boil. I hope those who consume this drama get rejected by a hospital when they’re in a life-and-death situation.

-I can’t stand this.

-Stop glorifying the medical and legal fields.

-It’s just a drama anyway.

-They're just testing the f*cking waters. If they're so confident about airing this drama, they should just proceed airing it right away.

-Cancel it.

-So annoying.

-Who would even watch this...?
