GD tops the trending videos on Youtube with his performance at the 2024 MAMA stage

-Deserved. The level of his performance was different from other performances. His stage was literally the only one awards-show-worthy, the other stages were just like Inkigayo stages but with a little bit of extra effort.

-No wonder.

-I can't stop re-watching it.

'Award thief' currently becomes #1 searched key-word in Weibo in real-time. [2024 MAMA] Daesang controversy - Enhypen > Jimin

 #1 award thief - Jimin (The winner of Fan's Choice Award)

In both rounds of the Fan Choice public voting, Enhypen ranked 1st.

Most people predicted Enhypen would win the Fan's Choice Award

But in the category that's 100% based on fan voting, only the Visa Fans' Choice voting had its ranking hidden and Jimin won 1st place, which caused a stir among Enhypen's international fandom.

+) Why was the voting ranking kept hidden for this year's Visa Fans' Coice Award when the rankings were usually made public in previous years?


Jimin dropped from 1st to 6th due to invalid votes in the first round.

Enhypen's international fandom, who worked hard voting for a month, is now raising concerns about vote manipulation.

Does it make sense that the Visa Fans' Choice Award's rankings are kept hidden when the award itself is based on fan votes 100%?

But it’s strange that while Enhypen was ranked 1st in the public voting (with disclosed rankings), only the Visa voting, which kept its rankings hidden, had Jimin ranked 1st.

This is why the whole situation causes an uproar over accusations of vote manipulations, even among international fans.

(I honestly didn’t even think QWER could be considered a band... If they are, I apologize...)

For the Best Band category, the band that was predicted to win rightfully won. That means the Best OST award should also have gone to the predicted winner.

Best Band: Only a 3% difference. The predicted #1 won.

Best OST: A 10% difference. The predicted #2 won.

If a 3% gap couldn’t be overturned by judging, how does it make sense that a 10% gap was? That’s ridiculous.

-You really need a grand stage to feel like it’s a year-end show.

-Why even bother going to the US if it’s going to be like that?

-My favorite group’s stage was amazing, but it's such a pity that the stage in MAMA in the U.S. was too small.

-If they’re going to host an event in the US, they should’ve booked a bigger venue.

-It’s not the artists' fault since it must’ve been agreed upon in advance. If the organizers sold tickets making it seem like it’d be live but played a pre-recorded video instead, that’s a scam.

-The singers were actually there at the venue, but they only played the video? Usually, even for pre-recordings, they stand on stage at least.

-Honestly, some people must have attended just to see that performance. Even watching it on TV was ridiculous;; imagine how much worse it was on-site.

-Is it because Bruno Mars' live performance would have cost a fortune?

-Why does it matter if Bruno wanted this or not... They should've announced earlier that it was pre-recorded.

-MAMA this year is very disappointing for many reasons.

-Mnet is at fault for not announcing it was pre-recorded.

-They shouldn’t have given the ending slot to a pre-recorded performance. Look at the atmosphere in that clip.
