HYBE refutes, "Min Heejin deceived the entire nation by saying that she never met investors"

 HYBE strongly criticized ADOR's CEO Min Heejin, saying she "deceived the entire nation."

On May 16, in response to ADOR's statement denying Min Heejin's attempt to take over the management rights, HYBE issued an official statement, saying "She wouldn't have had discussions with investors if she wasn't planning to take over the management." HYBE also claimed that Min Heejin lied about not meeting investors and hope everything will be cleared up in the court. 

Additionally, HYBE strongly urged, "We hope CEO Min Heejin not use the term 'ADOR's Side' when making public statements. This incident was initiated by Min Heejin personally out of her own personal ambition, in which some ADOR's executives participated. It is unrelated to ADOR."

HYBE's Side: 'Min Heejin's Lies Exposed One by One... Let the Truth Be Revealed in Court'

 HYBE responds to Min Heejin's claims. 

On the 16th, HYBE stated, "As Min Heejin herself publicly disclosed today, if conversations with the investors were indeed about taking over management, it wouldn't make sense. Min Heejin has deceived the public by claiming she never met with investors, which she admitted during the press conference on April 25th. However, evidence exposes that she's lying. We expect everything to be clarified in court."

Furthermore, HYBE strongly urged Min Heejin to not use the term 'ADOR's side' in public statements as the whole dispute was started by Min Heejin, not ADOR. 

Min Heejin's side responded to HYBE's claims, stating "Analyst A, whom HYBE accused of facilitating meetings between ADOR's management and investors, will reveal the truth." ADOR clarified that the reported meeting was part of a series of meetings organized by Analyst A regarding investments in Korean culture, including K-pop, K-dramas, K-games, and various Hallyu-related industries. They emphasized that it's wrong to call it a meeting to sell ADOR. 

Below is HYBE's statement:

Hello, this is HYBE. Regarding the statement distributed by Min Heejin's side today, we would like to share our stance. 

1. Min Heejin deceived the public at the press conference on April 25 by saying, "Bring the investors who conspired with me," pretending as if she had never met any investors. However, evidence and facts have gradually revealed her lies. We hope everything becomes clear through investigations and in court.

2. Additionally, we strongly urge Min Heejin to not use the term 'ADOR's side' when making public statements. This management takeover is initiated by Min Heejin and not related to ADOR.

As HYBE and ADOR continue their dispute over management rights, a member of HYBE's BELIFT Lab, ILLIT, was seen reporting malicious comments. 

On the 14th, ILLIT held a live stream on Weverse to celebrate their 50th day since debut. After the live stream, a post on Twitter read, "ILLIT's Wonhee was seen reporting hate comments during the live stream today." In the video, as the other members were talking, Wonhee was seen with a serious expression, checking comments and pressing a button. Fans speculated that Wonhee was reporting malicious comments. 

The post stated, "A 16-year old idol had to report hate comments herself," criticizing the company for not doing anything to protect them. International fans responded, "The group should have been protected from the moment they formed, but they are facing more online harassment than ever."
