BLACKPINK JENNIE - ZEN

theqoo

-Whoa... This is giving me chills. It's really cool.

-This video is absolutely insane. I'm so excited for Jennie's album.

-Whoa... This is such a refreshing shock. The song and everything are so unique and suit her perfectly. I've never seen anything like this before, this truly feels like a work of art.

-Whoa... This somehow feels like the intro...? of the album. She prepared this so well.

-She must've felt so frustrated when she was at YG.

-This is so freaking cool... Especially the way she incorporates Korean elements into the MV, it's absolutely insane. It's a work of art, don't you think so?

-I literally screamed because I loved it so much.

-Wow, I got goosebumps all over my body. I love it so much.

-Whoa.... BLACKPINK members are really doing whatever they want through their solo activitiesㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ It's so freaking cool.

-I'm giving this the 2025 Best Music Video Award.

-This looks like a game... It's so beautiful.

-This is just... insane. I love Jennie's aesthetics.

-This is my favorite thing she's done so far.

-Oh... This feels like a movie OST... Like a hero theme.

A Korean Muslim explains common misconceptions about the Quran

TW: HATRED TOWARDS RELIGION, RELIGIOUS DISCRIMINATION.

(NB: I'm translating this to share Korean Netizens' views on Islam. I have no malicious intentions.)

(NB: I'm not translating the rest of the comments because it's filled with hatred. I would recommend to report the Theqoo post, but sadly the site doesn't have that feature. The OP actually took this post from cafedaum, you can click the link, find the three dots in the right corner, and click the one that says 신고/Report, however you need to have a Kakao Account for that. Therefore, I recommend to leave comments on the Youtube video to address the misunderstandings)

Muslims are increasing in South Korea as the teachings perfectly suit the sentiments of some Korean men.

Some men who are attracted to the idea of polygamy and male dominance are finding Muslim women on applications, converting to Islam to pursue dates, and even marrying these women. There's a growing trend online of people sharing apps and tips for doing this.

"In the case of my wife, she had a virginity test at a gynecologist before our marriage and showed me the certificate. It's not legally required. However, I think it's a custom in Islamic and Arab societies to prove one's virginity to the husband. I assume it's the same in the woman's country and society."

It is said that in the Islamic paradise, one can freely enjoy sexual intercourse with multiple beautiful virgins (Quran 56:35).

Although Choi Younggil's translation of the Quran refers to the beautiful maidens as 'new spouses,' I believe that it indirectly means a being that they can share a bed with no restrictions or obligations, just like a wife.

Originally, in the Arabic Quran, they are called 'Huri' (which can be translated as 'fair maidens'). Just by looking at the descriptions of them in the Quran, it's clear that they are incredibly beautiful women. They have big beautiful eyes (Quran 56:22), are pure virgins untouched by any man (Quran 55:74), lie in wait on beds (Quran 55:76), are of similar age (Quran 56:37), are as delicate as protected eggs (Quran 37:49), and wear silk robes embroidered with gold and silver bracelets (Quran 76:21). Their breasts are full (Quran 87:33).

A Korean Muslim clarifies the misunderstanding about the phrase 'being rewarded with virgins in heaven':

There are people who argue, 'Why does the Quran describe the pleasures of heaven in such a sexually explicit way?'

In the Hadith (a book that holds a status almost equal to the Quran in Islam), it says that martyrs who die for God will be rewarded with 72 women.

What is the most intense pleasure? It's sexual pleasure. Because sexual pleasure is the most intense joy, God gives it as a reward in heaven. What's the problem with that?

There is no such thing as morality in heaven.

In the current world, there are morals and boundaries that we must uphold, which is why there are things like rape and sexual assault that we must avoid.

If we are given such intense pleasure in heaven. What's the problem with that?

Be honest with me, if someone goes to heaven and is constantly given such pleasure.. You wouldn't be jealous, would you?

--

What about women? Do women also get 72 handsome young men? (I don't need that) How can something like this be a religion?

-I'm leaving without clearing up any misunderstandings

-He actually titled that video a lecture?

-Oh, okay then...

-I haven't read the Quran, and I've only read fragmented opinions about it. I'm not interested in clearing up any misunderstandings by watching things like this. Nowadays, I don't trust YouTubers or speakers like that. I'm going to study and judge them myself.

-Are there Korean Muslim women? Neither the men nor the women seem to be sane.

'Rented in Finland' hit its lowest ratings yesterday

-Who's on this show?

ㄴLee Jehoon, Lee Donghwi, Kwak Dongyeon, Cha Eunwoo

-The title itself is weird.

-tvN has lost their power these days.

-I don't even know what they're trying to sayㅋㅋㅋㅋ Putting celebrities in a remote corner of Finland and expecting them to be 'healed'... What is this even?

-I'm so tired of reality shows where celebrities go to Europe to play and eat... It somehow feels disconnected.

-Why do they even make shows like this?

-Making it a 10-episode series was a mistake.

-Stop making shows about going abroadㅋㅋ

-It's f*cking boring... Even if I were the one who goes to the countryside in Northern Europe, it would be f*cking boring. That's just how that isㅋㅋ

-It's not just boring, it's completely uninteresting.

-The cast lineup isn't appealing and the concept isn't interesting either.

-This show is still airing?

-The scenery is really beautiful, and I like the actors, but it's just too boring...

-It's boringㅠ ’m not interested in what they’re doing there, they don’t have much to do and the chemistry isn’t great either

Baby Garden loses final ruling in lawsuit against Netflix over 'In the Name of God: A Holy Betrayal'

Religious organization 'Baby Garden', which filed a lawsuit against Netflix seeking 300 M KRW in damages over the documentary 'In the Name of God: A Holy Betrayal', has lost the case in the Supreme Court.

According to legal sources on the 25th, the Third Division of the Supreme Court, upheld the lower court's ruling on the 23rd, which dismissed Baby Garden and its leader Kim Gisun's claims for damages against Netflix.

Netflix released an eight-episode documentary 'In the Name of God: A Holy Betrayal' in March 2023, which covered the leaders of four religious organisations, including Baby Garden.

Baby Garden filed a lawsuit against Netflix claiming that Episode 5 and 6 of 'In the Name of God: A Holy Betrayal' contained false information about the organization and its leader, Kim Gisun. The documentary contained allegations that Kim Gisun forced the followers to perform hard labor and that those who did not obey were beaten to death by other followers.

Baby Garden argued that Kim Gisun had been cleared of murder and fraud charges in 1997 and that the documentary's allegations were false.

Both the first and second courts rejected Baby Garden's claims.

The first trial ruled, "The documentary does not claim that Kim Gisun killed the victim or ordering the killing. In fact, the end of Episode 6 clearly states that the previous criminal case concluded with a 'not guilty' verdict." The court added, "Even if Kim Gisun felt uncomfortable, the documentary cannot be considered as defamatory or a malicious personal attack."

Baby Garden appealed the first ruling, but the second court rejected the appeal.

The Supreme Court also upheld the lower court's ruling, deciding not to proceed with a further hearing, and dismissed the case.

-Hyunjoo and Jiyoung... They're not only pretty but also have lovely personalities.

-I haven’t watched the show, but just from the gifs here, the #4 girl looks like she’d be super popular.

-Wasn't Bae Yoonkyung the most popular female contestant from Season 1...?

-Between Hyunjoo and Jiyoung... But I think Hyunjoo would be more popular.

-I can't f*cking choose... All four of them are so gorgeousㅠㅠㅠ But my favorite contestant is Kim Jiyoung.

-Among those, I think... Jihyun? She has a different kind of charm.

-Sir, this is clearly Kim Jiyoung.

-Kim Jiyoung is so pretty and charming.

-Considering the personalities, I think Hyunjoo would be the most popular.

-I think it would be Park Jihyun... She was the first female contestant on 'Heart Signal' who was liked by all the male contestants.

-Kim Jiyoung. But I feel like guys would like Park Jihyun more.

-Don't four of them have similar styles??ㅋㅋ I think it might be Im Hyunjoo.

-Hyunjoo... She has a charming personality.

Survival show 'Universe League' reveals freaking ridiculous name for their debuting group

AHOF (아홉) (NB: Ahob means nine)

They revealed the number of the debuting members for the first time today, and they literally made the group's name the number of members.

theqoo

-As a fan of the group that's most likely to debut... I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

-This reminds me of when I first heard 'Gugudan'......

-Who's the MC in the middle?
ㄴPark Jaebeom

-Are they going to change their name to Yeodeolp (NB: Eight) if one member leaves?

-Whoa... This sounds like something someone randomly blurted out during brainstorming and a higher-up said, "That sounds good"

-At least it looks better when written in English...

-It's a unique name. I don't think it's bad. But looking it up on the search engine will be toughㅠ

-There was a SNSD's fansite that is named 'Ahob' back thenㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-Honestly, it looks like they’d be better off not debuting at all…

-'We'll introduce ourselves! Two, three @>-#;! Hello, we're AHOF!'

-Is this a Korean survival show?

-Is this the group that comes after that 'Close your eyes!!' group or something like that....?!

-Debut song: I HOPE.

-They need to make sure no one leaves the group, ever.

-It's fine. Even SEVENTEEN doesn't have 17 members anyway.
