Mnet 'Dancing 9' Lee Suntae is currently serving a prison sentence for drug use and distribution charges

 

Lee Suntae, an actor and dancer known from Mnet's 'Dancing 9', is reported to be currently serving a prison sentence for drug use and distribution charges. Lee Suntae was sentenced to three years and six months in prison in December last year.

In April last year, Lee Suntae was investigated after he received a bag containing 400 grams of methamphetamine from an American in front of a hotel in Yongsan, Seoul. In February of the same year, under the instructions of distributors from a drug distribution Telegram channel, he allegedly delivered drugs to other drug dealers. Additionally, in April of last year, he was charged with using methamphetamine in a car parked in an alley in Chungnam and smoking marijuana in Seoul. 

Lee Suntae appealed his sentence at the end of December last year. The second trial is scheduled for June 19.

"I thought girl groups only used iPhones" ... LE SSERAFIM boldly advertised Galaxy smartphones

 HYBE's rising girl group, LE SSERAFIM, gained attention as they openly endorsed Galaxy smartphones as they arrived at the airport. In contrast to their usual preference to use iPhones, LE SSERAFIM's members were spotted using the latest Galaxy smartphones such as Galaxy S24 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip 5. 

On the 8th, LE SSERAFIM departed from Incheon International Airport for Los Angeles to attend Coachella, the largest music festival in the United States, scheduled for the 13th and 20th. On this day, LE SSERAFIM's members focused on promoting their Galaxy smartphones rather than showcasing their airport fashion like celebrities usually do. The five members were seen holding Galaxy S24 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip 5 in front of the press photographers. 

As a result, netizens suggested that Samsung had sponsored Galaxy smartphones for LE SSERAFIM. However, it is known that it was not Samsung, but Google Korea who endorsed Galaxy smartphones to LE SSERAFIM's members. 

When asked about the future collaboration between LE SSERAFIM and Google, a HYBE representative refused to comment, stating it's "confidential." Similarly, Google Korea only stated that they were "internally verifying," without providing a clear answer.

If the group that became the reason HYBE attempted to steal New Jeans' opportunity to work with Apple is identified, it will cause a huge uproar

 

1. Apple wanted to work with New Jeans since their debut. 

2. OMG MV sparked discussions within Apple.

3. However, HYBE wasn't happy about OMG MV (Reasons unknown).

4. HYBE tried to use this as an excuse to interfere between New Jeans and Apple's event. HYBE tried to give the opportunity to work with Apple to another group.

5. However, Apple refused, and New Jeans participated in the event (Early 2023).

6. Then Apple proposed a collaboration for a dance MV.

7. In response, ADOR offered Apple to film the ETA MV.

8. Shin Wooseok, the director of OMG MV, joined to shoot ETA MV.

9. Tim Cook even said it was okay to change the rabbit logo to the Apple one.

The reason why HYBE threatened ADOR and tried to give the opportunity of attending Apple event to another group, and which group was HYBE going to give the opportunity to, is still unknown. 

However, it's true that HYBE attempted to take New Jeans' opportunity to work with Apple. (Ilgan Sports) Journalist deemed that this wasn't right and finally revealed it to the public because HYBE picked a fight with them.

ETA came out around mid-2023, so it probably had one of the HYBE's idols who were active at that period of time.
