Today is Yoon Sukyeol's birthday

18 December 1960

Age: 63

-Ah, f*ck

-This is f*cking TMI.

-Next year, instead of a birthday cake, I hope he gets an ancestral rite πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

-Never thought I’d hate someone this much in the world…

-No one asked. No one cares.

-Can we find out the exact time he was born?

-It wouldn’t be bad to die on the same day he was born.

-He should’ve been beaten up in the f*cking prison.

-He’s still young, he could spend 30 years in jail.

-What? He’s so f*cking old. It’s time to go, let’s go.

-Let's turn his birthday into a memorial rite.

-Why was he even born, seriously?

Yoon Sukyeol's reps: "While it may have shocked the public, it's not a crime of rebellion ... It's absurd to do an investigation on this"

Lawyer Seok defended President Yoon's declaration of martial law, saying, "The president has been suffering from the opposition party's obstruction of national affairs. In such a situation, this act (declaration of martial law) is connected to that, and because the opposition party was acting this way, the president declared martial law not out of emotional anger, but as a necessary response."

He continued, "Even if it’s called a disruption of the national constitution, we must remember the excessive use of impeachment, budget cuts, and the disrespect and mockery of many public officials attending the National Assembly." He added, "I believe the impeachment trial is an opportunity to legally settle the disputes over how the rule of law has been mocking and damaged."

Lawyer Seok described the investigation into the current situation as 'irrational.' He stated, "If they had ever read the treason laws, would this be considered treason? It indeed shocked the public, but it's not like the president was trying to seize all power by committing treason. They call it a rebellion, but why would the president start a rebellion?" he argued.

He added, "I believe that some parts of society, especially the opposition party, are exaggerating this situation, making it seem like a national crisis or a rebellion." He continued, "From our perspective, this is not a rebellion. While we respect the impeachment process as it's a procedure under the National Assembly Act, isn't the investigation a bit absurd?"

He added, "He will follow legal procedures, but he is still the president of the country, only temporarily suspended by impeachment. Just because the president calls, does that mean I should go? Following orders isn’t the only legal procedure," he argued.

-What kind of nonsense is this? Even though it 'failed' in two hours, that doesn't mean this wasn't treason. He attempted a self-coup d'Γ©tat and failed, that's all.

-No. That's treason.

-This crazy bastard should be executed so he won’t speak nonsense again.

-What the f*ck is he saying?

-Shut up.

-This bastard's mouth should be ripped f*cking open.

-Is your brain just for decoration?

-It's giving me goosebumps how they keep making this sounds like it's not a big deal. Shameless people don’t know shame. Even if the truth comes out, they still believe the lies.

-You bastard, the money you've wasted is over 120 trillion. Do you think martial law is a child’s game?

-He's basically saying the president declared martial law out of anger??? Is the country a joke to you??

-This crazy pig bastard did it out of anger...

-Is martial law a joke? Do you know how much money you've wasted?

-We never asked him to shock us.

-Do you think martial law is a childish game? Do you think the people are a joke?

-Seems like he's out of his mind.

-Tie him up in the middle of Gwanghwamun and let the people stone him to death. I never voted for him, how did such a person become president...

[MBC] Psychiatrists analyze Yoon Sukyeol's current mental state

President Yoon shows traits of a 'narcissistic' personality type

He can't tolerate criticism and struggles with self-reflection

Psychiatrist A: The more cornered a person is, the more they create enemies and targets for hatred.

Keeps repeating baseless allegations during his speech

Psychiatrist A: In his speech, he seems unable to distinguish between what he should and shouldn't say. What he calls an explanation only creates more issues... It would be difficult for him to make normal judgments.

Psychiatrist B: Loss of empathy, distorted reality, and making decisions as he pleases to the point that he can't even have a conversation. These are the symptoms of delusion.

Psychiatrist B: From that perspective, he may need a psychiatric evaluation.

Psychiatrist B: It's hard to believe the president said these things, given the lack of factual basis.

Psychiatrist B: It's quite concerning about what kind of wrong decisions he will make.

theqoo

-I can't believe the president is narcissistic. He's the worst.

-Exactly what I was thinking.

-Uh... My head hurts...

-Everyone thinks the same, but being mentally ill isn’t a valid excuse, right??

-It's confirmed by psychiatrists. He's a patientγ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹

-γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹ He's mentally illγ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹ He needs to be hospitalized at this point.

-Even his supporters show the same symptoms.

-How can a president be mentally ill?

-This is f*cking legendaryγ… γ…  He's the worst president ever.

-The thought that this man was a prosecutor is terrifying. Imagine how many lives he ruined with wrongful indictments...

-With that much narcissism, he must think the entire country is his now that he's the presidentγ…

-He’s seriously not in his right mind.

-Delusional, mentally ill... I can't believe these are the words we associate with our president...

-'You're just like Yoon Sukyeol' will be the biggest insult in South Korea... (Apparently, the elementary school students are already using this term?)

-We need to get rid of him and throw him in jail ASAP.

Yoon Sukyeol's statement from a year ago

See you at next year's election. If you want to impeach me, go ahead.

theqoo

-Leader of treason deserves either the death penalty or life imprisonment.

-Then why is he staying quiet now?

-You deserve the death penalty.

-Honestly, it seems like he didn’t want to work anyway, but his wife forced him to hang on.

-As you wish.

-Let's start with the death penalty.

-You told us to impeach you, didn't you? Then why are you running away now?

-Will do~

-I bet this treasonous bastard doesn't even remember he said that.

-Ok. Just wait.

-Ok, add a death penalty at that.

-Alright!

People Power Party considers resignation and election schedules: "Resignation in February, Election in April" or "Resignation in March, Election in May"

The People Power Party has begun considering two options regarding President Yoon Sukyeol's future: 'Resignation in February, Election in April' or 'Resignation in March, Election in May.'

On December 10, Lee Yangsoo, the head of the National Assembly Stability TF, said in a private emergency meeting, "Due to legal and economic risks, we should confirm a planned, orderly resignation within this week. We must prepare for the anonymous vote on the impeachment of President Yoon at the plenary session on December 14." Multiple attendees reported that Lee Yangsoo discussed these options with Representative Han Donghoon at 9 AM that day.

Lee Yangsoo emphasized, "Compared to impeachment, the 'Resignation in February, Election in April' or 'Resignation in March, Election in May' options provide a quicker timeline. If the impeachment gets approved, the president would resign in June and the election would take place in August, which creates the advantage of minimizing national division and reducing uncertainty by resigning and holding the election sooner." Some expressed concern that this would delay the conclusion of the higher court case for Lee Jaemyung, leader of the Democratic Party, who was sentenced to probation for violating election laws, but the dominant opinion was that a June resignation would not be practical due to the public opinion.

They also discussed strategies to persuade the president on the proposed plan. Lee Yangsoo stated, "The president should choose a safe and honorable resignation over impeachment. I will persuade (President Yoon) to not step down immediately because he needs to deal with the martial law situation. Besides, if we want to hold the presidential election in 60 days, we need to organize the election by selecting candidates and discussing the constitutional amendments."

The People Power Party believes that organized support from senior party leaders and religious leaders is needed to create a favorable atmosphere for the president's resignation.

-Is there any right answer besides impeachment?

-Are they out of their minds? He deserves to be shot immediately and yet they're waiting for him to resign in February??

-Impeachment is the only option.

-Stop the nonsense. If he doesn't want to resign right away, just agree to impeachment.

-I can't trust them. Only God knows what they're gonna do until February.

-Impeach him now.

-Yeah. Get lost. We're gonna impeach him.

-Impeach him within this week.

-Pure bullshit.

-Stop talking about resignation, get lost.

-Who are you to make a decision on this?

-Stop the nonsense. Either impeach him this week or next week, pick one you f*ckers.

-Nope. Impeach him within this month and disband the party in January, ok?

-Impeach him this Saturday.

-You must be kidding me.

Political circles struggle to explain President Yoon's self-defeating move, except to suggest that he may no longer want to continue as president.

https://n.news.naver.com/article/009/0005407480?sid=100

President Yoon Seokyeol declared martial law at 11 PM on the night of the 3rd, only for it to be nullified by a National Assembly resolution approximately two hours later, at 1 AM on the 4th. This situation is expected to have placed President Yoon in a politically impeached position.

Political circles struggle to explain President Yoon's self-defeating move, except to suggest that he may no longer want to continue as president.

When the news of President Yoon's emergency press conference on the night of the 3rd broke, most people predicted that it would focus on criticizing the opposition party. However, when the announcement was made, it turned out to be a declaration of martial law that no one had foreseen. The fact that neither the national intelligence agency, the military, nor the police were aware of this move leads to inevitable chaos.

theqoo

-This makes me wonder if he was drunk when he made the announcement.

-Well, you can't explain illogical behavior with logic.

-If he no longer wants to continue as president, he should just step down.

-Where is this guy right now?

-I can't believe this guy is a president.

-If he doesn't want to be a president, he should just resign.

-I think he still wants to be a president, though... So that he can do things his way.

-Where's this guy? Did he flee the country?

-Then just resign. This isn't a joke.

-No one can figure this out. Who did he even consult about declaring martial law?

-I bet he's currently sleeping right now after drinking tons of booze.

-He can just quietly resign, though??? How could you declare martial law just because you no longer want to be a president? That doesn't f*cking make sense.

-Maybe he’s just dumb enough to think declaring martial law would solve everything.
