BOYFRIEND will make a full-group comeback this May to celebrate their 15th debut anniversary.

Five years after reuniting for their 10th anniversary in 2021, BOYFRIEND will once again come together as a full group and release a new mini-album 'Boyager 6' on May 26 to mark their 15th debut anniversary.

In 2011, BOYFRIEND debuted with the single 'Boyfriend,' capturing fans' hearts with their cheerful yet powerful energy and fresh visuals. They were loved by the public for their strong, unique vocals and friendly, lively charm. With each album, they transitioned between 'boyish' and 'manly' concepts, showcasing a wide range of musical styles.

The 15th anniversary album 'Boyager 6' will be their first new release in nine years since the release of their 5th mini-album 'Never End' in 2017. As it is an album intended as a gift for fans, they plan to showcase BOYFRIEND's signature youthful, yet more emotionally mature sound.

The teaser released alongside the album announcement shows the backs of all six members, sparking curiosity. Although only the silhouettes of their backs are visible, it conveys their determination to move forward together in the same direction, raising anticipation among fans.

Returning as a full group for the first time in five years, BOYFRIEND plans to celebrate their 15th anniversery through various activities.

Two groups who have the same fanclub name

'Best Friend' is the name of Boyfriend's fanclub, and it has been used since 10 August 2011. And today, Gugudan revealed that they're going to use 'Dear Friend' as their fanclub's name

The definition of 'Best Friend' in Dictionary

'The closest friend'

The meaning of Gugudan's fanclub name:

'Means that the fans and Gugudan is really close with each other. A hope that Gugudan and their fans will be as close as how best friends usually are'

The definition of '단짝' in Dictionary:

'Best friend'

(means that it can't be translated as 'Best Friend' too)

But, 'Best Friend' has been used as Boyfriend's fanclub name since 11 August 2011.

Best Friend is the name of Boyfriend's fanclub name that they have been using for the previous 6 years, it has a lot of memories and meanings both to the fans and the idols.

I hope Jelly Fish will respond and give feedback about this.

-Are you sure the international fans will translate it and use 'Best Friend' instead of 'Dear Friend'? I bet they have no idea what does '단짝' mean and they're probably just going to use the official translation which is 'Dear Friend'.. I don't think this is something that Jellyfish should give feedback to..
