Ok Taecyeon, a member of 2PM and also an actor, visited a cinema to support actress Kim Hyeyoon instead of heading to a honeymoon after his wedding.
On the 26th, Ok Taecyeon posted on social media, "I can't watch scary things... I'll watch this, even in tears," along with a poster for the movie 'Salmokji: Whispering Water' and tagged Kim Hyeyoon's account.
Ok Taecyeon previously worked with Kim Hyeyoon in 2021 tvN drama 'Secret Royal Inspector & Joy.' It appears he visited the cinema to show his loyalty and support for her.
Starring Kim Hyeyoon, 'Salmokji: Whispering Water' is a horror film about a production team that heads to a reservoir to re-shoot after an unidentified figure is captured on a street view map, only to encounter something lurking beneath the dark, deep water.
According to the Korean Film Council on the 27th, the movie has recorded a cumulative audience of 1,983,763 viewers and is on the verge of surpassing 2 million viewers.
Meanwhile, Ok Taecyeon held his wedding on the 24th at the Shilla Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul, with his longtime partner of 10 years. The ceremony was held privately out of consideration for the non-celebrity bride and her families.
However, controversy arose when a Chinese tourist staying at the hotel secretly filmed the ceremony through a room window and distributed the photos without permission, exposing the bride's face.
