Actor Kang Gidoong shows a kind gesture to the citizens who are participating in the protest.

On December 10, Kang Gidoong shared on his personal Instagram account, "For those who are going to the protests on this cold day, I have pre-paid for 50 cups of hot Americano at a café in Yeouido from 11 December 2024. It is not much, but I hope you can enjoy a warm cup of coffee and take care of your health."

Kang Gidoong also provided detailed location of the café and how to claim the coffee. Although it appears that Kang Gidoong didn't personally make the pre-payment, it seems like his fan club did so under his name. Kang Gidoong expressed gratitude by saying, "Thank you for this kind-hearted gesture. Thanks to you, I feel warm as well. I hope you all take good care of your health."
