COSMOSY is officially making their debut today (31st) as a '6th-generation girl group.'
NTT Docomo Studio & Live announced, "The MV for Cosmosy's debut single 'zigy=zigy' was created with the collaboration of crews who have previously worked with BLACKPINK, Aespa, LE SSERAFIM, etc. Composed entirely of Japanese members, Cosmosy brings individuality and identity to life, expressing the worldview of girls growing up in this world and a new world."
The debut track, 'zigy=zigy', is a K-pop dance song that combines Afro-pop sounds with traditional Eastern vibes. The lyrics explore the inner conflicts and identity struggles faced by teenage girls facing heartbreak. Written in English, Korean, and Japanese, the song aims to resonate with a global audience.
The choreography for Cosmosy's debut song was created by Mood Dok, a former YGX choreographer, and combines dreamy and oriental elements.
Made up of members A'mei, De_hana, Himesha, and Kamión, Cosmosy represents the concept of 'COSMOS of Youth,' symbolizing 'the possibilities of youth,' 'the infinite universe,' and 'growth through conflict.'

-Why are they K-pop if all the members are Japanese...?
-Is this another group like XG? And what’s with the 6th Gen?
-Seems like more Japanese artists are trying to hop on the K-pop bandwagon since the J-pop market looks hopeless.
-What’s this 6th Gen nonsense? The 5th Gen just barely started.
-Why are they K-pop? Besides, their concept is so terrible. What is that? A samurai?
-I watched their MV yesterday, and there was some Korean in the lyrics.
-Why are they considered K-pop?
-Why are they debuting in Korea instead of Japan?
-They’re all Japanese, so it’s J-pop, not K-pop.
-In our country, we call this J-pop.
-??? Did they come from the future or something? Why are they in the 6th Gen?
-What is this, an iPad? Why 6th Gen?
-They're a Japanese group, but they're debuting in Korea and calling themselves K-pop?
-Get out of K-pop.
