TWICE's Momo buys 4.3 billion KRW villa in cash ... Neighbors with Nana and Han Sohee

Momo has reportedly purchased a luxury home in Achiul Village, Guri, Gyeonggi Province this month for 4.3 billion KRW paid entirely in cash. The area is known for its cluster of multi-billion KRW luxury homes. The specific villa that Momo bought is the same area where Han Sohee and Nana had previously purchased units in.

According to court registry documents on the 31st, Momo, who is a Japanese national, signed a contract on the 23rd to buy a 221㎡ unit in the luxury villa 'Arcadia Signature' in Acheon-dong, Guri, for 4.27 billion KRW. The payment was completed on the same day and the registration of ownership was finalized with no mortgage records, indicating that she paid the entire amount in cash.

Arcadia Signature is one of the most exclusive properties in Achiul Village. It is a luxurious, villa-style residential complex built in May 2023. It consists of 2 under ground floors and 4 above-ground floors. It only has 8 units in total, 6 standard units and 2 penthouses.

The unit that Momo purchased, the 'Natural Terrace,' includes 3 bedrooms, 1 study, 3 bathrooms, and a private garden. Residents can enjoy views of both the Han River and Achasan Mountain from inside their homes. The villa also has a fitness room and private lounge area for residents.

Arcadia Signature is praised for its excellent location, because it is only a 15-20 minute drive to areas like Gangnam, Gangdong, Gwangjin, and Songpa in Seoul. It also has convenient access to large hospitals, department stores, and Han River parks. Furthermore, it is highly preferred by celebrities who want privacy because it is the first property in Achiul Village that has its own private entrance, allowing residents to enter and exit discreetly, with 24-hour security system.

Han Sohee also purchased a 203㎡ duplex penthouse in Arcadia Signature for 5.24 billion KRW in August last year. At the time, she took out a 1 billion KRW loan from a commercial bank to buy the unit. Nana also bought a 221㎡ unit in March for for 4.2 billion KRW, taking out a loan of about 2.7 billion KRW. Additionally, Choo Jahyun signed a two-year lease for a 222㎡ unit in late November last year with a security deposit of 3.5 billion KRW.

Achiul Village, where Arcadia Signature is located, is often called 'Artists' Village' as it has been home to novelist Park Wanseo, painter Lee Sungja, and printmaker Choi Jisook. After the greenbelt was lifted in 2006, luxury homes and villas began developing in the area. It is highly favored by many celebrities because it offers quiet, rural living while being close to Seoul. Notably, Hyun Bin bought a penthouse unit nearby for 4.8 billion KRW in 2020, where he started his newly wed life with Son Yejin. Other celebrities reported to live in Achiul Village include actress Oh Yeonseo, singer Park Jinyoung, and the couple Hyuna and Yong Junhyung.

[+347][-55] Other singers must be having a reality checkㅋㅋㅋ She can't even sing well, but she manages to earn money in another country.

[+274][-9] Han Sohee must've earned a huge amount of money too.

[+250][-6] The entertainment industry really is all about one lucky break in life.

[+24][-3] Change the law so can foreigners can't just buy property unless they actually live here. If they don't live in the house they bought, they should be required to pay 10% of the property tax every year.

[+16][-2] I can't even earn 200 million KRW a year even though I work for over 12 hours and only get 2 days off a month... This really makes me have a reality check.

[+15][-0] It seems like the three of them must be close friends, considering they all live in a villa complex with only eight households.

[+10][-1] Apparently, Han Sohee came to Seoul from Ulsan right after her senior year break, only with 300,000 KRW and a dream to become model. She knew no one in the city. She worked part-time and got cast by Musinsa. Her guts are amazing. She probably would've succeeded no matter what.

A famous PD, known as Mr. A, who has directed several popular variety shows, has been accused of sexual assault.

Ms. B's lawyer, Lee Eun-ui, stated, "The victim suffered psychological trauma and damage to her career. Initially, she wanted the company to solve the problem internally. However, the company's response were insufficient, leading her to file a lawsuit."

The company conducted its own investigation and reportedly informed Ms. B that they only acknowledged part of the sexual assault allegations, but denied claims of workplace harassment. However, Mr. A denies all the accusations. It is reporter that both sides disagreed with the company's investigation results and have filed appeals against it.

[+88][-1] Who?????

[+62][-4] We should draft a law that prevents these kinds of vague articles from being published.

[+51][-2] The only famous variety show PDs that I know are Na Youngsuk and Kim Taeho...

[+11][-0] Please, I hope it's not those two.

[+9][-0] If they are a famous PD... everyone should know who it is. Who could it be?

[+5][-0] Journalists who write these nameless articles should be kicked out.

An idol receives over a thousand hate comments on a male-dominated forum for saying 'Don't date ugly men'

I asked Jiwoo to list three types of men women shouldn't date and she said not to date 'ugly men'

A female idol who said not to date ugly men (1710 comments)

Hearts2Hearts' Jiwoo told a fan to not date ugly men... And now the Korean men on FMKorea are going wild like cockroaches hit by poison after being struck by a fact^^

Like Ian, Hearts2Hearts members are becoming very likable these days. I'm rooting for them.

-They must have gotten offended because they're ugly.

-Why are they so mad??????

-Didn't she just state something obvious, like 1+1=2??

-If you weren’t ugly, there’d be nothing to get offended about 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

-Why are they getting mad? It seems like they're admitting they are ugly, right?

-I mean... It's simple. Just don't be uglyㅜ

-So… Are you saying we should date ugly men now?

-'Cockroaches hit by poison'ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Why are you so offended, ugly men?

-These things are not only ugly, but also have disgusting personalities too...

-Who would want to date someone ugly?... She just stated something so obvious, though?ㅋㅋㅋ ㅠㅠ

-Jiwoo is so smart 💗

-Do they not like pretty women themselves? This is seriously ridiculousㅋㅋㅋ

-Just be handsome, then?ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-Which salty Hannam got offended by this? Let me see your fce.

-She didn't say anything wrong.

KATSEYE faces backlash overseas for sexualizing a minor

Yoonchae, the Korean member, was born in 2007.

6:05~

Their new Halloween video is also being criticized as inappropriate for a minor

That's a 17 year old dawg 😭 https://t.co/MEpXcLcuDA

Yoonchae vestida de Mariah Carey no clipe de "All I Want for Christmas Is You" para o Halloween. pic.twitter.com/lTdUTI5ULB

This video is under fire because not only the minor member Yoonchae, but nearly half of KATSEYE members are under 20, and yet their choreography and outfits are overly sexual.

Their international ages

-Hul, I thought they were all adults. Is HYBE crazy?

-Isn't Yoonchae still in high school...?

-Their outfits were really short… at least Yoonchae’s seemed a bit more covered than the others. Maybe it's because the U.S. is their main market?

-It's HYBE. I'm not even surprised.

-Aren't foreign countries actually more sensitive about things like this than South Korea?

-The outfits were always revealing, but I thought international fans didn't care.. I guess this issue is just breaking late.

-It was a bit much from the beginning... But everyone seemed to like it and kept calling them 'hot girls,' which honestly, I found strange. Apparently, exposing your skin makes you a hot girl.

-I knew this would come up someday...

-Wasn't this the group that had moaning sounds in their song too?

-If you look at Yoonchae's personal fashion taste, you'll notice that she doesn't seem like the type to prefer revealing clothes. That's why this bothers me even more.

-Wait, there's another underage member?? I heard people saying that Yoonchae's covered up a bit more than the other members because she's underage... Does the other underage member not need covering? Even if they're a global group, can't they wait until they're all adults to do such concepts?

-Their ages are even more shocking to me. The other members besides Yoonchae are young too.

-Hul, even just watching that video, half of their butts are showing.

-If there are minors in the group, be more careful with the concept. What is that?
