Byun Wooseok began by saying, "I felt so grateful to IU, but also very sorry."

Moon Geunyoung reveals visible surgery scar on her arm .. "It was discovered after the golden time had passed ... I even thought about retiring"

Actress Moon Geunyoung shared the story of her difficult rehabilitation process from a rare disease.

On the episode of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block' that aired on the 22nd, the 'Nation's Little Sister' Moon Geunyoung appeared as a guest.

In 2017, at the age of 31, Moon Geunyoung underwent emergency surgery for a rare condition called Acute Compartment Syndrome. Regarding the unfamiliar name of the illness, she explained, "It's an emergency condition that occurs when the fascia surrounding the muscles is compressed, making blood can't flow properly. That's why it's called acute."

She recalled, "I was preparing for a performance in the countryside. It was winter and the road was icy. I slipped and sprained myself. When I woke up the next day, it was swollen. If I had gone to the hospital right away, it would've been identified quickly. At the time, I jus thought, 'My wrist must be swollen because its broken,' and left it for a day. During that time, it worsened, so I went to a large university hospital. I met someone I'm very grateful there. Since the X-ray showed nothing, I thought I'd just get a splint. The doctor said, 'Oh, you're Moon Geunyoung. Why are you here?' and I told them I was there for a splint, but he looked at it and said, 'I don't think a cast is the right move. I won't give you a cast. You need an MRI. It looks like there's something serious.' Then the results showed it was Acute Compartment Syndrome."

She added, "They said the golden time had already passed and necrosis may have already begun, that I needed emergency surgery immediately. If I had just gotten a cast, something much worse could've happened. I am so grateful for that doctor, they saved my life," expressing her gratitude to the doctor who discovered her illness.

After surgery, Moon Geunyoung told her mother, "Mom, I'm so happy I can finally rest now." She added, "I didn't realize how big the wound was. They had to leave the wound open because if it's closed too soon, it could reopen. So, my arm was wrapped in bandages about five times its size. I hadn't even seen it yet when I told my mom that I'm glad I can rest."

She continued, "When I saw the wound for the first time after they removed the bandages, I thought, 'Whoa, this is serious.' It was a relief that necrosis hadn't progressed, but they told me that the nerves in my fingers might not recover. I think I cried when I heard it was that serious. I always cried alone. I lived with my grandmother, so I couldn't cry at home. I would park in the underground parking lot and just cry my eyes out."

After three additional surgeries, Moon Geunyoung began a long rehabilitation process. She said, "Since the nerves were damaged, I had to do exercises to revive them, along with muscle training. At first, I couldn't even do anything at all," as she demonstrated the motion of clenching her fist.

She admitted, "I even thought I might not be able to act anymore. I strongly believed I might not be able to use my arm," and shared how she committed herself to rehab just to make sure she could make a living, drawing sympathy.

Moon Geunyoung revealed that her fingers slowly started to move again after seven months of rehabilitation. The entire recovery process took about a year. She said, "My nerves have come back and I can use my muscles again now. It's such a relief."

Moon Geunyoung: "Winning Daesang at the age of 21, I couldn't enjoy it ... I burst into tears over one mistake"

Actress Moon Geunyoung shared her honest feelings as she looked back on winning the Daesang at a young age.

On the episode of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block' that aired on the 22nd, the 'Nation's Little Sister' Moon Geunyoung appeared as a guest.

On this day, Moon Geunyoung first talked about her grandmother, who had been with her during her early career. She said, "In my early debut days, my grandmother acted as my manager and emotional support," and added, "However, as she got close to 70, it became harder for her to keep up with my schedule. Eventually, it was no longer possible for her to accompany me."

When Yoo Jaesuk mentioned, "Didn't you win the Daesang at the age of 21?" Moon Geunyoung confessed, "Looking back now, I don't think I was able to fully enjoy that moment." She continued, "At the time, I kept thinking, 'Do I really deserve this? I don't think this award suits me.' It's a shame I couldn't have been more confident and enjoyed it."

In fact, she said in her acceptance speech back then, "More than grateful, I actually feel more apologetic." Regarding this, she expressed, "If there's something I could say to my younger self, I'd want to say, 'It's okay to be a bit immature. It's okay to make as many mistakes as you want."

She added, "There was an incident that made me realize that I needed to experience making mistakes when I was young. I made a very small mistake, but I suddenly burst into tears," and explained, "I wondered why I was crying. It was because I wasn't used to making mistakes. Even after turning 30, I hadn't learned how to cope with mistakes. I wish I had more mistakes, faced challenges, and tried more things when I was younger."

Meanwhile, when Yoo Jaesuk asked, "If you were to be asked, 'How are you these days? You're really popular. How does it feel?' How would yo respond?" Moon Geunyoung replied, "Yes, you're right. I'm doing great these days. I'm the 'Nation's Little Sister' from 'My Little Bride,'" drawing laughter.

Brian exposes Kim Heechul's past attitude: "He ignored greetings from seniors, I really disliked him"

SOURCE: 브라이언, 김희철 인성 폭로 "선배가 인사해도 쌩 지나가, XX 싫어했다"

Singer Brian revealed a story about Kim Heechul during his trainee days.

On the 21st, a video titled "'We came to see your house' Brian clutches the back of his neck as Super Junior's invasion (Unreleased SM debut group stories, the founder of SM etiquette training)' was posted on the Youtube channel 'The Brian.'

Super Junior's Eunhyuk and Donghae visited Brian's 300-pyeong home. The three had previously been under SM Entertainment together.

Brian asked Eunhyuk, "Didn't you have a unique group name before Super Junior?" Eunhyuk replied, "'Smile,'" referring to the name of the group Donghae almost debuted in. Brian then said, "I remember 'Dream Team,'" and Eunhyuk recalled, "'Dream Team' was actually the original early name for DBSK."

Brian confessed, "The reason I remember that is because I hated Heechul so much during the 'Dream Team' trainee days." He continued, "I like him now, but back then I didn't know he had bad eyesight. One day in Cheongdam-dong, I recognized him first. I had seen him at SM, but he didn't greet me. I greeted him first, but he just said, 'Ah, yes,' and walked right past me. How would you feel if a junior did that to you?" revealing Heechul's past attitude. Eunhyuk responded, "If we're talking about Heechul Hyung back then, it might not have been because of his bad eyesight," causing everyone to laugh.

Brian added, "So I went back to the dorm and told Hwanhee. He said, 'Rookies don't greet seniors?' and I said, 'Exactly. I thought that was weird too.' Just then, a manager walked in, so I told him 'The 'Dream Team' kids don't greet us.'" Eunhyuk responded, "At some point during our trainee days, SM started etiquette classes. Maybe they started it because you spoke up, Hyung," leading to more laughter.

Nana, a singer and actress formerly of the group After School, shared her feelings after appearing as a witness in a robbery case trial.

On the 21st, Nana shared via the fan communication platform Bubble, "Seeing him face-to-face made me feel so absurd and angry that I failed to control my emotions." She added, "I said everything I hadn't been able to say anywhere before," and "I don't regret my actions or words."

Seeing him face-to-face made me feel so absurd and angry that I failed to control my emotions.
But I said everything I hadn't been able to say anywhere before and it felt relieving.
I said everything I wanted to say to that man as well.
I don't regret my actions or words.
I know you all must have been worried.
I believe this will come to an end now!

She also reassured her fans, saying, "I'm sorry to the fans who were worried. I'm okay and I believe this will come to an end now."

Earlier that day, Nana appeared as a witness at the Namyangju branch of the Uijeongbu District Court in the trial of Mr. A, a man in his 30s who was charged with robbery and causing injury. Arriving at court with her face hidden behind a hat and mask, she told the reporters, "I took a medicine before coming here. I'm very nervous," and added, "I plan to speak honestly and truthfully as it is."

However, Nana reportedly showed an emotional reaction upon facing the defendant in court. According to reports, she said, "Is this fun for you? Look at me straight in the eyes," leading the judge to ask her to remain composed, noting that the trial could not proceed smoothly in such a heated state. Afterward, Nana composed herself and testified about the incident.

She explained, "At the time, I acted instinctively in self-defense and he begged for his life, saying he was sorry. I thought it was important to calm the situation down first, so I asked my mother to call the police."

I hope he pays the price for all the malicious and criminal acts he has committed until now.

You reap what you sow.
'You face the consequences of your own actions'

After the trial, Nana also posted on her Instagram story the phrase 'You reap what you sow,' adding its meaning, "You face the consequences of your own actions," seemingly targeted at the suspect who denies the crime.

Meanwhile, Mr. A was brought to trial on charges of breaking into Nana's home in Acheon-dong, Guri, Gyeonggi Province last November, threatening her and her mother with a weapon, and attempting to steal valuables. It was reported that Nana and her mother subdued him after a physical struggle before reporting him to the police.

Since then, Mr. A has admitted to the trespassing but claimed he had no intention to rob them. He even filed a lawsuit against Nana, claiming he sustained injuries. The police determined Nana's actions were self-defense and decided not to forward the case. In response, Nana sued Mr. A for false accusation.
