Risabae: "I'm a creator, not an influencer" ... Debuts as a singer

SOURCE: 이사배 "난 인플루언서 아닌 크리에이터"…가수 데뷔

Beauty creator and makeup artist Risabae (CEO of Two Slash Four) is making her debut as a singer.

On the 8th at 6 PM (KST), Risabae will release her new song 'SPECTRUM' simultaneously worldwide through various online music platforms and her official Youtube channel. This release captures her bold move to prove her multi-dimensional spectrum as an artist, beyond being a makeup artist and brand founder.

Her new song 'SPECTRUM' adopts the UK Garage genre, an electronic dance music style that originated in the UK in the 1990s. It is characterized by its unique, rhytmic shuffle beat and an addictive off-beat baseline. Risabae combines her strength in visual art direction with musical textures to create a cool, yet mysterious atmosphere.

In particular, this song carries a message Risabae wants to deliver to the public. The lyric "I'm not just an influencer. No matter what, I'm a creator," reflects Risabae's autobiographical narrative of carving her own path despite external views and prejudices. It expresses her determination to overcome obstacles and move toward limitless possibilities.

Kim Eunha, CEO of her agency Ice Creative, stated, "Risabae is an artist who works harder than anyone to prove the public that she leads her own life," adding, "The limitless spectrum she will show is only just the beginning."

T.O.P mentions profanity, drugs, and brands in new songs ... Receives 'unfit' ratings from KBS

SOURCE: 탑, 신곡서 욕설·마약·브랜드 언급…KBS 심의 무더기 '부적격 판정'

Several new songs by T.O.P (Choi Seunghyun), former member of BIGBANG and now singer and actor, have failed to pass broadcasting reviews.

According to the results of KBS' review released on the 8th, 7 out of the 11 tracks on T.O.P's 1st full-length album 'ANOTHER DIMENSION,' released on the 3rd, were judged unfit.

First, 'Be Solid' and 'Another Dimension Holy Dude !!!!!!!!' were deemed unfit due to 'lyrics containing profanity, slang, and vulgar expressions.'

Additionally, 'For Fans,' 'Seoul Chaos,' 'Desperado,' 'OVAYA,' and 'The Giant' were judged suitable and passed the review.

Songs that receive an 'unfit' ruling from KBS can be resubmitted for review after editing or deleting the problematic parts.

Meanwhile, T.O.P released his 1st full-length album 'ANOTHER DIMENSION' on the 3rd. This is his first solo album in 13 years and also his first release since he reversed his decision to retire as a singer.

'Former Super Junior member' Kangin announces comeback ... Controversy over 'end of self-reflection period?' after 7 years

SOURCE: “슈주 출신” 강인 “컴백”…7년 만 복귀에 ‘자숙 끝?’ 논란 [SD이슈]

Kangin has announced his return amid controversy and is stepping back onto the stage.

On the 6th, a video titled 'Kangin's self interview' was posted on his Youtube channel. In the video, he shared updates on his life and future plans ahead of the release of his digital single 'LOVE IS PAIN.'

Kangin said, "It's been a really long time since I last greeted you," adding, "I'm finally officially releasing the song I performed at the fan meeting." He continued, "I gained the courage thanks to the fans who waited for me for such a long time," explaining the reason behind his return.

He also added, "The fact that I can sing again is all thanks to the fans. I will greet you with a better side of myself in the future."

However, public opinion regarding his comeback is divided. In the past, Kangin was involved in several controversies, including drunk driving, hit-and-run incident, and allegations of assault, leading to his departure from Super Junior in 2019.

In particular, following a DUI hit-and-run incident in 2009, he was fined again for another DUI in 2016. In 2017, he faced further criticism after an assault report was filed against him.

After halting his activities, he began showing signs of returning in 2023 by opening a Youtube channel and holding fan meetings.

Following news of his new song release, netizens have been engaged in a heated debate, with some saying, "It's too soon for him to make a comeback," and "He needs more time for self-reflection," while others think, "It's okay for him to return now," and "I support him."

G-Dragon turns his agency's deficit into a surplus ... A look at how much he earned = 200 billion KRW + more in one year

SOURCE: 소속사 흑자전환 시킨 지드래곤, 얼마 벌었나 봤더니…1년에 2천억+@

BIGBANG's G-Dragon has recorded astronomical earnings.

On the 6th, G-Dragon's agency, Galaxy Corporation, revealed its business performance. According to the report, Galaxy Corporation achieved 298.8 billion KRW in revenue for the Q4 of 2025, recording a growth rate of 619% compared to the same period the previous year. G-Dragon played a major role in turning the company profitable after posting an operating loss of 18.8 billion KRW last year.

Galaxy Corporation stated, "The success of G-Dragon's world tour stands at the center of this explosive growth. The overwhelming market power of this global IP led directly to these financial results, allowing us to escape past deficits and achieve a full turnaround with 12.5 billion KRW in operating profit."

In 2025, G-Dragon announced his long-awaited comeback with his 3rd full-length solo album, 'Übermensch.' Led by the title track 'Too Bad,' every song on the album ranked highly on domestic and international music charts. It sold over 600,000 copies on the first day of release and 1 million copies in its cumulative sales for 2025.

Riding this momentum, G-Dragon went on a large-scale world tour. Starting at Goyang Stadium, he performed 39 shows across 12 countries, including Tokyo and Osaka (Japan), Bulacan (Philippines), Macau, Sydney and Melbourne (Australia), Taipei (Taiwan), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Jakarta (Indonesia), Hong Kong, New Ark, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles (USA), Paris (France), and Hanoi (Vietnam), drawing approximately 825,000 attendees. This is the largest world tour audience ever for a Korean solo artist.

According to Billboard Boxscore and other sources, the first 22 shows alone are estimated to have earned about 71.8 million USD (about 96 billion KRW).

For the Goyang Stadium shows alone, G-Dragon drew around 68,000 attendees over two days. Ticket pricees ranged from 144,000 KRW for restricted-view seats to 220,000 KRW for VIP seats. Based on average prices, ticket sales for the two days are estimated to exceed 12 billion KRW. Notably, the show in Newark is estimated to have earned about 27.1 million USD (36 billion KRW), making it one of the single-location performances with the highest revenue records.

Overall, ticket sales from the entire tour are estimated to be between 180 billion and 190 billion KRW. This is the largest tour revenue in the history of Korean solo artists. Including merchandise and pop-up store sales, the total revenue estimated b y the industry reached at least 150 billion to 200 billion KRW.

Additionally, considering his annual royalties in the tens of billions of KRW, his role as a Chanel ambassador, other advertising activities, and collaborations involving his own fashion brand and F&B products, the industry believes that G-Dragon's total earnings are truly astronomical.

As a 'walking conglomerate,' G-Dragon is now launching a full-group project to celebrate BIGBANG's 20th debut anniversary. As he mentioned during a fan meeting in February, "We will begin warming up for the 20th debut anniversary starting in April." G-Dragon will perform at Coachella, the largest music festival in the U.S., on the 12th and 19th alongside Taeyang and Daesung. Afterward, they will connect with global fans through a world tour.
