Model-actor 'A', recruiter who sold Korean women as slaves for Cambodian adult-broadcasting for 5 million KRW

It was revealed that model and actor A acted as a recruiter who sold Korean women to a Cambodian crime organization.

According to Dong-A Ilbo, A deceived B, a woman in her 30s, who arrived in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, in April last year by pretending to here her as a Japanese interpreter. A then sold her to the crime organization for 5 million KRW.

B was locked up by the organization for a month and forced to perform in adult broadcasts. She was beaten when her earnings failed to meet the 'target' set by the organization. Fortunately, she was eventually rescued by her family.

However, B testified that she heard screams for help from the next room, suggesting there may be more victims.

A is reportedly a minor actor and model whose name can even be found through Korean portal searches.

Lee Yikyung's exposer suddenly apologizes ... "It was just a prank, AI-generated... I didn't expect it to get so much attention"

Ms. A, who had previously exposed Lee Yikyung's private life, apologized by saying, "I'm truly sorry for spreading malicious rumors. I used AI-generated photos," and clarified that the rumors were not true.

On the 22nd, a German woman identified as Ms. A posted an apology, saying, "Recently, I posted various photos related to Lee Yikyung. It all started as a joke. I didn't expect it to get so much attention. But as I kept posting and using AI-generated photos, I gradually started to believe it myself."

Ms. A continued, "I'm truly sorry for spreading malicious rumors about Lee Yikyung. What began as a fan admiration gradually turned into emotional overinvolvement." She confirmed that all claims made about Lee Yikyung's private life were false.

She added, "I feel guilty because what started as fun gradually seemed to become real. If I need to take responsibility, I will. Please understand that my Korean is clumsy since I'm German."

Previously on the 20th, Ms. A had posted messages and DMs on her blog, claiming they were conversations she had with Lee Yikyung. The content was shocking, as it included Lee Yikyung demanding explicit photos from Ms. A and using vulgar language.

These messages quickly spread through online communities and social media. In response, Lee Yikyung's agency announced, "We are preparing legal action against the spread of false information and malicious rumors recently posted and circulated on online communities and social media." The agency added, "Given the seriousness of this matter, we plan to pursue every possible legal measures by calculating the scale of damages resulting from the rumors."

They further stated, "Both the creation and distribution of such false content will be subject to legal action. Please be cautious to prevent unnecessary damages."

1. [+344][-45] So that was AI, huh?ㅋㅋ Looks like she got paid and settled.

2. [+347][-55] What's with the sudden change of attitude?ㅋㅋ Did he silence her with money?

3. [+318][-28] I guess she's already satisfied with the amount of money she gotㅋㅋㅋ

4. [+280][-39] Looks like they reached a settlement in private.

5. [+257][-31] Payment completed??

6. [+244][-30] He was so quick to pay her.

7. [+221][-21] Out of a sudden??? Money is indeed good.

8. [+195][-7] If that woman doesn't go to jail, it means they settled. The damage done to his image was massive and he's just letting it slide?? This could've ruined someone's life, though...? If I were Lee Yikyung and it wasn't true, I'd go insane from frustration.

9. [+197][-16] Such a weird turn of events... Was there a settlement behind closed doors?

10. [+180][-11] Financial settlement completed.

"What did you do in the back seat?" ... Idol couple blackmailed over intimate footage

The owner of a car rental company has been convicted after extorting money from an idol couple using a private video captured on the rental car's black box.

According to legal sources on the 18th, Judge Gong Woojin of the Incheon District Cour sentenced Mr. A to 8 months in prison with a 2-year probation and 120 hours of community service for charges of blackmail. This ruling has been finalized.

In February last year, Mr. A rented a van to a female idol through his rental company. While checking the black box after the vehicle was returned, he discovered footage of the female idol engaging in an intimate behavior with a male idol from another group.

Mr. A decided to blackmail the victim and sent a text message asking, "What did you do in the backseat yesterday? Don't you think that's too much?"

He then mentioned the male idol's group name, saying, "If you won't admit it even after I said this much, there's nothing I can do." Mr. A demanded money, saying, "The car cost 47 million KRW to buy. Just give me half first."

The blackmail didn't stop there. Even after receiving money twice, Mr. A continued the threats a few days later. He pressured the victim by mentioning the black box, "That's being recorded in real-time. It's all there," implying he would leak the video if he wasn't paid.

Terrified, the victim eventually transferred a total of 9,793,000 KRW over three transactions. Mr. A was charged with blackmail. Under criminal law, blackmail is established when a person threatens another to gain financial benefit, punishable by up to 10 years in prison or a fine of up to 20 million KRW.

The court noted, "Mr. A committed this offense while already under probation from a previous sentence."

However, considering that most of the extorted money was returned to the victim and the defendant admitted to the crime and reflected on his crime, the court sentenced him to a suspended prison sentence. The judge said, "The sentence was determined considering the severity and the amount of money extorted."

1. [+37][-1] Since rental cars are not your own, make sure to format the black box before returning the vehicle. You never know what might have been recorded, not just video but also audio.

2. [+31][-1] He committed a crime while already on probation... And the court still gave him a suspended sentence?ㅋㅋ

3. [+32][-5] Seriously, why would you do that in a rental car that is borrowed by many people? Go get a room.

4. [+22][-3] It seems like it wasn't just a simple skinship, but a sexual activity. That's why they paid him.

5. [+21][-6] ㅋㅋ If it was just a kiss, I don't think they would paid him. What did they do?? They even rented a van for that?ㅋㅋㅋ

6. [+15][-2] So, who is it?ㅎ

7. [+20][-8] Exactly... Why would you do it in someone else's car?

instiz

-I really hope those idols never get exposed...ㅜㅜ

-Oh Gosh.. Why live your life like that?

-The fact that he immediately checked the black box because he knew she was a celebrity. That's creepy.

-Trying to blackmail someone for money with that? What a pathetic human being.

-Disgusting. Can you even call someone like that human?

-Ugh, people who are curious about who it is aren’t sane either.

-But seriously, what could they have been doing in the backseat for him to demand half the car's price?

This person claims to be a witness to Soyou's incident

I was on the same flight. Soyou was heavily intoxicated. She said she wouldn't eat because she was too tired. I heard the staff telling her that she shouldn't board the flight while drunk. It's wrong for her to claim that she was treated unjustly or that it was racial discrimination... As a Korean and as a fan, I was honestly very embarrassed at that moment. I felt very awkward toward the flight attendants as well.

Soyou's post:

After finishing my schedule in New York, I boarded a connecting flight from Atlanta to Korea.

I was very tired and requested to speak with a Korean crew member to check the meal schedule. However, the purser judged my attitude and treated me like I was a problematic passenger, even calling security.

I even had to say, "If I'm the problem, I'll get off." After that, I had to endure cold treatment and glares for the entire 15-hour flight. At that moment, I wondered, "Is this racial discrimination?" I couldn't eat anything for the entire flight and the experience left a deep scar caused by racial bias.

I hope no one else ever has to be doubted or humiliated because of their race.

-Wait, really? That changes the story

-There must be a rule against boarding while drunk. Why did the crew let a heavily drunk passenger on board?

-It was a night flight, so I didn't realize it at first. After she sat down, it suddenly got noisy. That's when I realized it was Soyou. She said she was drunk and couldn't read the menu, so she requested a Korean flight attendant. There was no security called.

And it seems like Soyou didn't file a complaint with Delta...?

It looks like Soyou didn’t report it to Delta, just posted it on social media

I just got off a call with Delta because I had a question about a reservation.
It was for a Delta One seat on the same DELTA DL27 flight Soyou took. I mentioned that as a Gold Medallion member. I told them I was worried about flying on October 17th because a celebrity claimed she was discriminated against on that flight. They checked and said there were no incident reports, claims, or statements filed.
Honestly, if you paid that much money and didn’t get to eat or were mistreated, you’d definitely file a claim for an apology or compensation. Maybe her agency will handle it, but still.

-If she was heavily intoxicated, the story changes completely...

-But why do celebrities post things like that? To get others to attack on their behalf?!

-There’s no proof anyway…

-Who would’ve thought Soyou was lying? Of course, we thought she was being unfairly treated.

-If she was drunk, she's at fault.

-If that witness isn’t a fake account and actually lives overseas, there's a possibility the witness account is true. We should just wait quietly until more facts come out.

-I've flown Delta to and from Korea several times and I don’t buy it. Delta isn't some budget airline. Not as friendly as Korean airlines, sure, but they still offer good service. She must’ve been in a premium seat since she’s a celebrity… but saying she didn’t get served food at all? That sounds unbelievable.

-We need to hear both sides of the story.

-Girl’s Day Hyeri also once claimed on Instagram that she experienced racial discrimination from Delta.

-Has Delta made any statement?

-People believe that without any proof…???

-Delta has Korean crew members... Can racial discrimination even happen there?

-This is getting interestingㅋㅋㅋ

Super Junior saw the trending post on Theqoo about there being no 90s-born idols on the first day lineup of MAMAㅋㅋ

Kim Heechul's Instagram:

Are we even allowed to go to MAMA?ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Looking at the lineup, they're all young enough to be our sons and daughters. Back in our day, it was still called MKMF. I hope the junior don't feel obligated to stand up when we perform or greet them. I wouldn't know what to do in that situation. We're all just feeling the same pressure hereㅋㅋㅋ

Eunhyuk's Bubble:

This is hilarious. There's no 90s-born idols in the MAMA lineup. You're making fun of us, aren't you? Everyone must be born in the 2000s. We're born in the 80s. I mean, it does make sense, but it pisses me offㅋㅋㅋㅋ Are we even allowed to be there? Besides... MAMA itself is younger than us. We started back when it was MKMF. We should be allowed to call it 'Inma' (NB: Term often used by older people) instead of 'MAMA'. The kids can call it MAMA. Anyway, since it's our 20th anniversary, we decided to attend for our ELFs despite our packed schedule. But honestly, in the future it'd be nice to give more opportunities to junior groups, right? Anyway... Please look forward to this year no-90s-born MAMA.

-??? MAMA used to be MKMF? That's surprising.

-Back then, it was called the Mnet KM Music Festival...

-This is the first time I've heard of MKMFㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-You guys don’t know MKMF??? Are you all babies???

-Anyone here remember MMF before it became MKMF?

-ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ The fact that there’s no 90s-liners is hilariousㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ It’s okay Oppa… You’ll always be our Oppa.

-MKMF still sounds more familiar to meㅋㅋ I couldn't adjust for about 5 years after it changed to MAMA. When they first changed it to MAMA, people criticized it. Like... What the hell is MAMA?ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-MAMA itself is younger than themㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ And the fact that they're all young enough to be their sons and daughtersㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-The f*ckㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-The MKMF era was really the bestㅋㅋ Because they held it in South Korea.

-I was in elementary school when it was MKMF... Such nostalgic times.

-Those born in '08 and '09 must feel like kids to themㅋㅋ

Do you think the longer NewJeans' hiatus, the more momentum they build or the more their popularity fade?

I’m really curious. Long hiatuses usually make groups lose momentum, but looking at BLACKPINK, sometimes it actually works like gathering energy for a huge comebackㅋㅋㅋ

So, if NewJeans ended their hiatus and release a new album, how strong do you think their impact would be?

(This is purely hypothetical. I'm not talking about the possibility of a new albumㄴㄴ)

instiz

-They’ll probably lose momentumㅠㅠㅠㅠ

-If posts like this are still being made, they're okay for now. But in three years? Not so sure.

-I think it depends on the song. If they make a comeback with something as good as Attention, then they'll top the charts easily.

-Wow... This post is trending. Just based on the reactions here, I think their popularity is not dead yet.t

-Public interest has already completely died down. Besides, I think it's going to be hard for them to recover their image.

-First of all, I will definitely listen to their new album.

-Could NewJeans ever be forgotten?

-Since their current image is pretty negative, I'm not so suer.

-If they don't make any comebacks by 2026, their momentum will likely die down significantly.

-Their reputation s already damaged. Popularity and buzz are not the same thing.

-I’m quietly waiting for them..ㅠㅠ I miss them.

-I'm not consuming them anymore.

-It does feel like they're fading away, but I'm still desperately waiting for themㅠ
