On the October 7th broadcast of MBN 'Don Makase,' Kwon Eunbi confessed that she helped cover her older brother's wedding expenses.
When the hosts asked, "Do your family members brag about your success?" Kwon Eunbi laughed and replied, "They brag too much. I told them not to, but they enjoy it so much." She continued, "My brother recently got married. We're only a year apart, so we've always been close. I paid for his entire wedding."
She also shared a kindness she received from her brother in the past, "I wanted to go to an arts high school. However, my parents were against it because it costed a lot of money. My older brother, who was in high school at the time, secretly helped to pay some of my academy fees without our parents knowing. I felt incredibly grateful. I promised myself that once I succeeded, I'd repay him someday."
Kwon Eunbi eventually debuted as a singer, achieved her dream, and repaid her brother's kindness by covering his wedding expenses. However, she revealed, "We didn't talk about it. My brother seemed to feel burdened by it. So I decided not to help financially anymore. Even when I try to help, he would always say, "It's okay," and refuses. I'm grateful, but also sorry."
Meanwhile, Kwon Eunbi gained last year for purchasing a 2.4 billion KRW detached house in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, earning her the title of a 'building-owner idol.'
