-I wasn't a fan during 'Wolf' era, but I know this song because my friends kept singing it.

-I only remember the 'Ah Ssaranghaeyo~' partㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ If it was released now, I think it would've gone viral on Youtube Shortsㅋㅋㅋ I think that was the time they started gaining a lot of fans.

-Honestly, I don't think it was a huge hit even back then... So of course, it wouldn't be a huge hit now as well.

-If it was released with EXO's 12-member visuals back then, I think it could still work.

-The song is not the problem... Look at their visuals.

-I've never even heard this song before.

-I remember people calling the song funny, but still ended up liking EXO after hearing 'Wolf'ㅋㅋㅋ

'Bon Appétit, Your Majesty' star Lee Joo-an reveals the reason behind his military exemption: "I donated 70% of my liver to my mother"

Lee Joo-an (29), who gained attention for his role as Gong-gil in the drama 'Bon Appétit, Your Majesty,' opened up about the story behind donating part of his liver to his mother.

In an interview with SPOTV News on the 1st, following the conclusion of tvN's popular weekend drama 'Bon Appétit, Your Majesty' on the 28th of last month, Lee Joo-an shared his story.

When asked about his military service, he revealed, "Actually, I was exempt. When I was 22, I donated a part of my liver to my mother. As a result, I was given a military exemption." Lee Joo-an recalled, "My mother had liver problems before. I was contacted that she had lost consciousness, her condition had suddenly worsened due to cirrhosis and other issues. I rushed to the hospital. She needed an emergency surgery and I agreed to the transplant.

Fortunately, his mother's condition improved after the surgery and is now happily watching her son gaining attention for starring in 'Bon Appétit, Your Majesty.'

Lee Joo-an shared, "Right now, I just feel happy. My mom is overjoyed. I feel like I've finally given her the chance to proudly say, 'My son is an actor.' She tells me that everyone knows Gon-gil from 'Bon Appétit, You Majesty.' Even though we're apart, that makes me feel at ease."

Kim Soohyun's side: "No romantic feelings toward Kim Saeron ... She only visited his house once"

On the 3rd, Kim Soohyun's legal representative, attorney Ko Sangrok, stated through his channel, "Throughout his military service, Kim Soohyun wrote over 150 letters filled with gratitude, apologies, and affection towards his girlfriend. The letters were full of anticipation for dates during his leave."

Attorney Ko Sangrok explained the letters were revealed as strong evidence showing that at the time, all of Kim Soohyun's emotions were directed solely towards his girlfriend, leaving no room for other feelings.

Regarding the phrase "I miss you" found in one of the letters allegedly sent to Kim Seron, the attorney drew a line, saying, "It's something that someone serving in the military commonly say to an acquaintance on the outside, not an expression of romantic feelings or interest." He further added that the letters were simply just life updates with causal remarks like, "Okay, let's meet up once I'm on leave," without absolutely no mention of specific meeting plans, expressions of affection, or depictions of feelings towards the late Kim Saeron.

On the claim that Kim Saeron had visited Kim Soohyun's house, the attorney explained, "That visit occured only once during Kim Soohyun's leave. That house, which is under Kim Soohyun's name, was actually where the agency's CEO and Kim Soohyun's older brother live in. Kim Soohyun's brother was also present during the visit, which happened naturally as their schedules aligned. The late Kim Saeron was a mutual acquaintance of the two."

He stressed again that their relationship was nothing more than 'ordinary interaction between fellow celebrities, with no romantic feelings involved.'

On the dating rumors with Kim Saeron: "Just colleagues, lawsuit for evidence fabrication in progress."

Kim Soohyun's side strongly denied the late Kim Saeron's family's claim that he dated Kim Saeron when she was a minor, labeling it as 'fabricated evidence.' The attorney concluded, "Kim Soohyun was never in a romantic relationship with the late Kim Saeron during her time as a minor, not even for a single day. Currently, a 12 Billion KRW damages lawsuit has been filed against the late Kim Saeron's family and Gaseyeon."

2-year-old girl in Nepal selected as the new 'Kumari,' the 'Living Gooddess'

A 2-year-old girl in Nepal has been newly chosen as the 'Kumari,' known as the 'Living Goddess.' 'Kumari,' which means 'virgin' in Nepali, is chosen from girls between the ages of 2 and 4 who have not yet reached puberty.

According to reports from the New York Post and AP on the 30th (local time), a 32-month-old girl named Aryatara Shaka has been selected as the new Kumari.

The Kumari is an entity worshipped by both Hindus and Buddhists and is chosen from the Shakya family within the indigenous Newar community in the Kathmandu Valley.

To be selected, the Kumari must have flawless skin, hair, eyes, and teeth and must not fear the dark. Nepali people believe that when the Kumari reaches puberty, she returns to being an ordinary woman.

Aryatara, the new Kumari, was paraded through the streets of Kathmandu with her family and supporters before entering the temple palace. Devotees presented flowers and money and also paid their respects by touching their foreheads to Aryatara's feet.

Aryatara is scheduled to give her first official blessing to devotees, including the President of Nepal, on the 2nd. Her father, Ananta Shakya, stated, "Until yesterday, she was just my daughter. But today, she became a Goddess. My wife dreamed of our child becoming a goddess when she was pregnant. From then on, I felt my daughter was destined for something special.

Once chosen, the Kumari will live a secluded life inside the temple, allowed to interact only with a few designated friends, and are permitted to leave only a few times a year for festivals. Because of this, many former Kumaris struggle with school and social adaptation after retirement.

Furthermore, a popular Nepali superstition believes that any man who marries a former Kumari will die young, which leads to many ex-Kumaris remain unmarried. However, recent changes to the tradition include the Kumari receiving education from private tutors and receiving a government pension of about 150,000 KRW per month from the government after retirement.
