Aespa's Giselle mentioned the possibility of changing her stage name.
Recently, a video titled 'Let's call it Aeri's on and off' was posted on Aespa's official Youtube channel.
The video captures Giselle's domestic and international schedules in a daily vlog, showing her daily life.
After arriving at the airport or an overseas schedule, Giselle shared her thoughts about her stage name while resting in the lounge.
She said, "There aren't many fans who call me 'Giselle' at the airport," and added, "I actually like that." She continued, "When fans ask how I'd like to be called, I always say 'Aeri.'"
She also shared, "Now, even the reporters at the airport call me 'Aeri-ya,'" adding, "It feels so much friendly, so I like it."
In particular, Giselle shared her honest feelings, saying, "I've been thinking about changing my stage name. I want to change it from 'Giselle' to 'Aeri.'"
She added, "I'm thinking of changing my stage name someday. I'm stil debating if it's the right decision, but it would be going back to my original name."
The video also showed her video calling her fellow member, Ningning, who greeted the camera while covering her face, drawing laughter.
After boarding the plane, Giselle stated, "I feel like my emotions always become richer when I'm on a plane. That's why I think more and end up writing a lot of lyrics during flights."
Meanwhile, Giselle debuted in 2020 as a member of the girl group Aespa under SM Entertainment. Her real name is Aeri Uchinaga. She is originally from Japan.
