Yoo Yeonseok had promised that if 'Whenever Possible' surpassed viewer ratings of 5%, he would appear on 'My Little Old Boy,' which was the highest-rated program at the time. Two years later, he fulfilled that promise.
On this day, Yoo Yeonseok was asked about marriage by MC Shin Dongyeop. When Shin Dongyeop asked, "When will you get married? Doesn't your mother ask you about it?" Yoo Yeonseok replied, "She did just yesterday," drawing sympathy.
When Shin Dongyeop asked, "Do you still have no thoughts on getting married?" Yoo Yeonseok replied, "I just haven't met the right person yet. I'm not against marriage."
Yoo Yeonseok, who previously said he wanted to get married in his 30s, cautiously stated, "I want to get married in my 40s." In response, Shin Dongyeop joked, "At this point, the next time you come on the show you'll say you want to get married in your 50s," which made everyone laughed. Kim Seungsoo's mother added humorously, "My son kept saying that every day, and that's how he ended up here."
Yoo Yeonseok also showed his potential 'daughter-fool' side as well. Having played the character of a pediatric surgery professor and worked with child actors in tvN's 'Hospital Playlist,' he said, "If I have a daughter, I want to braid her hair." When Seo Janghoon said, "Braiding hair is not easy. It requires good hand skills," Yoo Yeonseok showd his determination, saying, "I will learn it no matter what."
Meanwhile, Yoo Yeonseok is starring in the upcoming SBS drama 'Phantom Lawyer,' which tells the story of Shin Yirang, a 'possessed lawyer' who resolves the grudges of the dead, and Han Nahyun, a cold elite lawyer who bets everything on winning. The drama is set to premiere on the 13th.
