W Korea intentionally planned 'Breast Concert Party' ... Youtuber exposes invitation promising 'chance to see celebrities in person'

W Korea is facing massive backlash for hosting a so-called 'breast cancer drinking party.'

On the 15th, W Korea stirred a controversy after hosting its annual 'Love Your W 2025' campaign under the theme of 'breast cancer awareness and charity.' The event, organized on a massive scale for its 20th anniversary, drew criticism after live-stream revealed the event had devolved into a 'celebrity drinking party.'

As the organizer, W Korea provoked public outrage for exploiting breast cancer to promote a 'drinking party.' Amid growing public outrage, content creators have begun to voice criticism.

On the 20th, Youtuber Jung Sunho, who has 1.83 million subscribers, released a video on his channel featuring his mother, a breast cancer survivor, to call out W Korea. In the video, Jung Sunho played Jay Park's 'MOMMAE,' which was performed at the event. His mother couldn't hide her anger, saying, "What is this? How could they perform such a song at a campaign like that? Isn't this mockery? I feel offended."

Jung Sunho criticized W Korea, saying, "I place the biggest blame on the event organizer. How can they be this thoughtless? Do they really think gathering famous celebrities and influencers automatically raises breast cancer awareness?" He also added, "It seems like they wanted an excuse to invite celebrities for free to get sponsorships, so they came up with 'breast cancer' as an excuse. They basically exploited 'breast cancer' for their own profit."

On October 23rd, another controversy erupted as it was revealed that W Korea allegedly used the phrase 'Breast Cancer Party' in the initial invitation. Fashion Youtube Sinu, who has 400,000 subscribers, exposed this on his Instagram story that day. Sinu shared, "Honestly, when I saw the phrase 'Breast Cancer Party,' I thought to myself, 'Is this right? Are people really going to this event?' But apparently, many people went. I guess I was the only one who thought it sounded off."

Along with this, he revealed the invitation sent by W Korea, which read, "This is the W Magazine Breast Cancer Party that drew attention for being attended by top stars. This year, we are specially inviting creators in collaboration with W Magazine. We offer you a chance to see celebrity performances live in a small space and the opportunity to enjoy a party with celebrities. This is only offered to a limited number of attendees."

By labeling the event as a 'Breast Cancer Party,' W Korea shamelessly marketed the event as the opportunity to see celebrities in person. In fact, W Korea used the same term on its official website. In their invitations sent to celebrities, they wrote, "This campaign aims to raise awareness about the risks of breast cancer and support breast cancer prevention and treatment," adding that this was 'a party specially prepared for that purpose.'

[+1,202][-7] 'Breast Cancer Party' my ass. Is breast cancer something to celebrate? Patients are already struggling with expensive medication and limited insurance coverage.

[+1,097][-7] W Korea is a subsidiary of Doosan. Every time they hold donation events, Doosan's chairman always show up instead of W Korea's CEO. But now that there's a problem, Doosan's name is nowhere to be found.

[+783][-84] The celebrities who were the most active until the very end: J-Hope, RM, V, all of Aespa's members, Jang Wonyoung, Ahn Yujin, Jeon Somi, Jo Seho, Taeyang.

[+83][-0] Do the words 'breast cancer' and 'party' even belong in the same sentence?

[+73][-8] I totally lost respect for all celebrities who went there.

[+61][-0] What in the world is a 'party' for breast cancer?

[+57][-0] Are they going to start throwing parties for every type of cancer now?

[+51][-0] Do they really think the word 'party' is appropriate for this event? What's in their heads?

'The Show' to end after 14 years ... Final episode airs on November 11th

https://m.entertain.naver.com/home/article/108/0003377779

'The Show' is coming to an end.

According to an exclusive report by Star News on the 24th, SBS funE's music program 'The Show' will air its final episode on November 11th.

Typically, Korean music shows pause in the second half of the year due to various festivals, events, and award ceremonies, and then resume broadcasting in the first half of the following year. 'The Show' has always followed that pattern. However, this time is different. This is a complete ending, with no plans for a return.

With only 3 episodes left, fans are looking forward to see how 'The Show' will wrap up.

-Small idol groups are losing another music show to perform onㅠ

-Hul... No, why?ㅠㅠㅠㅠ Please don't... I beg you. Let my bias wins 1st place first before wrapping up the show.

-Is it because the economy is tough...? That's sad?ㅜㅜ

-Idols from big agencies don't perform on this show, only those from small-to-medium sized ones do. That's why the ratings, views, and buzz are all low. And once those smaller groups got a little popular, they eventually stopped performing on this show...

-My bias used to be an MV here, so I have such fond memories of this show. It's so sadㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

-Where will small groups ever get to win 1st place now?ㅠ

-Now if you're not from a big agency, you won't even be able to perform on music show...

-My bias is having a comeback, thoughㅠ

-Hul... It must be because of the production costs..

-If this keeps up, Show Champion might be the next to disappear...

-Ah... My bias debuted on The Show, so this is very emotional for me...ㅠ Idols from small-to-medium sized agencies are losing their chances now...

-I used to stan a group from a small agency when I was in high school 10 years. They couldn't perform on shows like Music Core, Music Bank, or Inkigayo. I used to watch The Show every week because they barely got to perform on the opening stage there...

-Music shows cost a lot of money to produce, but they don't bring in profit.

-Only Show Champion is left now for groups from small-to-medium sized agenciesㅋㅋ

-Why does it have to end?ㅜㅜㅜㅜ

MODHAUS (TripleS, ARTMS)' pre-assignment for their contract hiring is so interesting that I want to assign it to my mutuals try it like a K-pop quizㅋㅋ Who's in?

I understand that they want to hire qualified talent, but requiring such a long pre-assignment and 3 interviews for just a 3-month contract is a little bit too much. Is this normal?

Describe the characteristics of the group or elements that left a strong impressions (100 characters minimum)

As an artist researcher, explain why that issue is important.

5. Introduce any group that you believe is underrated.
Describe why they haven't received attention, why you noticed them, and what they could improve.

6. What are your thoughts on fandom-driven platforms like COSMO, Universe, fan-voting apps, etc?
Include your opinions on the pros and cons of MODHAUS' app, COSMO, and how you would improve and utilize it as a researcher.

7. If there's any MVs you recently couldn't finish watching, mention and explain why.

What feels repetitive?

Write down your unique observation criteria, analysis methods, or philosophy.

They required pre-assignment and 3 rounds of interviews just for a 3-month contract position

-Work conditions: To be discussed separately during the interview

Selection process:

Document screening > 1st interview > 2nd interview > 3rd interview > Final selection
Interview schedule will be announced later

Notice:

-False information may result in cancellation of employment.
-The recruitment is rolling and may close early once the position is filled.

-Even when went for interviews at SM Ent. and YG Ent., they didn't ask questions like this. This is way over the topㅋㅋㅋㅋ They must be trying to collect research data for free without lifting a finger.

-Are they kidding?

-As an idol fan, I personally find these questions more interesting and I'd be more confidence answering them, compared to the typical self-introduction onesㅋㅋㅋ

-It seems like they're making applicants do the work that the actual employees should be doing. They're basically stealing the applicants' ideas.

-Even large companies don't go that far.

-They're not even paying the applicants interview expenses, yet they're getting research data for free. What a sweet deal.

-Pre-assignment is wild. They don't even bother to hide the fact that they're stealing ideas for free.

-What kind of position is that for...? It's not even for a full-time position, just a 3-month contractㅋㅋㅋ

-It's not like they're a large company hiring a 1-year contract. They're just a small-to-medium company hiring for a 3-month contract, yet they're being so demanding.

-As expected from MODHAUS,

-Just ask AI, you scumbags.

-That's too much... Ew.

-They sure expect f*cking a lot.

-Seeing this makes me think that some small companies deserve to flop.

-Are they paying a monthly salary of 100 million KRW or what?

Min Heejin establishes new entertainment agency 'OOAK' ... Preparing for life afte NewJeans lawsuit?

As the legal dispute between NewJeans and their agency, ADOR, is awaiting a verdict, ADOR's former CEO Min Heejin, also known as 'NewJeans' mother',has established a new entertainment agency.

According to SPOTV News on the 24th, ADOR's former CEO Min Heejin has established a new entertainment agency called OOAK Co., Ltd, and completed the corporate registration on the 16th.

The company is registered for business purposed including celebrity management, music production and distribution, event planning, and brand management. Min Heejin is listed as an interna director.

OOAK is located near Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The building is currently under construction.

This is Min Heejin's first official move since her departure from ADOR. This fueled speculation that Min Heejin is preparing for life after NewJeans' lawsuit.

The court is expected to deliver its first trial verdict on the 30th regarding ADOR’s suit to confirm the validity of NewJeans’ exclusive contracts. If the court sides with NewJeans in the first trial, the members could move to Min Heejin's new company, OOAK. However, since NewJeans has already lost both preliminary injunction lawsuits, the result of the first trial can't be viewed optimistically.

NewJeans' member attempted to promote independently under the new group name NJZ, but got prohibited by the court. The court ruled that if NewJeans pursue independent activities, they would each owe 1 billion KRW per violation.

Despite two rounds of meditation, ADOR and NewJeans failed to reach an agreement. The members submitted a petition to the court, stating, "Telling us to return to ADOR is like telling a bullying victim to go back to where the perpetrator is."

[+555][-87] I only feel bad for the girls... Tsk tsk.

[+422][-99] NewJeans must be so confusedㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

[+386][-95] The entertainment industry is just like a jungle. What a waste of NewJeans...

[+110][-109] Ever since Bang Sihyuk created copycat idols and ruined NewJeans, K-pop is not worth listening to anymore.

[+103][-96] So if Bang Sihyuk goes to prison, will everything finally be right again?

[+99][-103] I don't know about Min Heejin's case, but the fact that the investigation found nothing is impressive. Respect. Also, there's another scoop that just broke in the entertainment industry right now. Just search '9262 girl group Kwak Yooyeon' on Google and see what comes up. Only for adults, though. You'll understand why the entertainment industry is nothing different from animal kingdomㄷㄷ

[+97][-93] I'm rooting for her.

[+89][-88] Last summer wasn't refreshing because NewJeans wasn't there.

[+78][-77] Mini-jeans~~ I trust you. I'm looking forward to this.

DAY6’s Sungjin joins NMIXX’s 'Blue Valentine' challenge

I’m losing it. Every time I watch Sungjin's challenge, I can't stop laughing because his moves are ambiguously correct.

-Watching him makes me feel rushedㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-He's kinda off-beat, but technically... He's doing all the moves correctlyㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-I’m cryingㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-He looks so desperate trying to keep up with every moveㅋㅋㅋㅋㅠㅠㅠㅠ

-I meanㅋㅋㅋㅋ Did they speed-up Sungjin in this clip or what?ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-Dejang did his bestㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-Mr. Sexy Poodle did his bestㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-I’ve been waiting for this.

-I saw people being sad because he was getting too good at dancing, but now he's backㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-Watching him makes me so anxious the whole time.

-At this point, just seeing Sungjin’s name makes me laughㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Ratings doubled from the first episode ... 'A Hundred Memories' ends with its highest record yet

JTBC 'A Hundred Memories' conclude its emotional journey of Kim Dami, Shin Yeeun, and Heo Namjoon on the 19th. The final episode recorded nationwide viewer ratings of 8.1% and 7.8% in the Seoul Metropolitan Area, peaking at 9.1%. This is the drama's highest record yet.

news nate

[+262][-34] It totally floppedㅋㅋㅋㅋ It's more like 'A Hundred Frustrations'

[+231][-41] Do not ever write a drama like this again.

[+223][-14] It was really good until halfway through...

[+34][-1] I was surprised Kim Junghyun was just the second lead.

[+32][-0] The ratings were good compared to the drama's overall quality.

[+30][-1] It was watchable up until the bus attendant part, but then it completely went down the hill. Kim Junghyun did look charismatic here, though.

[+30][-1] I actually liked Kim Junghyun, though.

[+30][-1] Why did Youngrye end up with Jaepil??

[+27][-0] It would’ve been better if she’d just cherished her first love as a memory and ended up with her brother's friend instead. Why did they unnecessarily include that stabbing scene? Honestly, I already thought it was weird when she got stabbed in the shoulder and ran off... But still, the cast was pretty solid.

[+25][-6] The male lead was really disappointing. He had no chemistry and looked way too old.

Dawn targets his ex-girlfriend Hyuna? ... "I think I can understand how 'Transit Love' feels like"

Dawn indirectly mentioned his breakup with Hyuna as he guested on Episode 6 and 7 of 'Transit Love 4' that was released on the 22nd. Host Lee Yongjin asked him, "Is this your first activity since your discharge?" and Dawn replied, "I think this is my first broadcast."

Lee Yongjin said, "I heard the production staff has been sending you calls since the previous season," to which Dawn answered, "At that time, I wasn't in a position to do anything," indirectly referring to his breakup with Hyuna.

Dawn had previously announced his breakup with Hyuna in 2022 after dating for 6 years. Simon Dominic joked, "You're being so honest already," drawing laughter.

When asked if he was more interested in meeting someone new or getting back together with an ex on the show, Dawn replied, "I've never contacted an ex after a breakup. Even if they reached out, I never replied. I can't understand the idea of getting back together with an ex."

Lee Yongjin then asked, "Do you know how it feels like to see your ex getting close to someone else?" and Dawn replied, "(Perhaps) I can understand it now?" Lee Yongjin quickly followed with, "I'm sorry," which made everyone burst into laughter.

Meanwhile, Dawn and Hyuna publicly dated from 2016 to 2022. After the news of their breakup was reported in 2022, Dawn enlisted for military service as a public service worker in 2023. Hyuna married Yong Junhyung in last October.

[+1,337][-16] He's the true winner. He did everything he wanted.

[+857][-12] If you notice, there are lots of celebrities who end their long-term relationships and then announce marriage just a few months laterㅋㅋ

[+749][-15] ㅋㅋㅋㅋ It's obvious everyone's going to think of Hyuna when he says that. Did he say that on purpose so that people would misunderstand her, who is married now?ㅋㅋㅋ He's probably half-joking, half-seriousㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

[+121][-1] He looks so much healthier and brighter now. It's his turn to live happily for a long, long time.

[+104][-0] You can really tell from how his face glowed after the breakupㅋㅋㅋ

[+95][-1] He used to look so drained, but now he looks completely full of life and energetic. He looks healthy as wellㅎㅎ

[+87][-0] Oh my goodness... He looks so handsome now. He just needs to keep going on his own way.

[+84][-0] He really does look lively now.

[+78][-0] It's amazing how full of life he looks now...

[+68][-0] I loved his iconic, hot star image before... But his current calm, composed style seems to suit his own personality better. I hope to see you through even better activities in the future~ Please release many great songs as well!! I'm rooting for you~~

Park Bom deletes ambiguous post: "YG never paid for plastic surgery" ... Netizens express growing concern

2NE1's Park Bom once again alarmed fans after posting a mysterious message on social media, only to delete it shortly afterward.

On the afternoon of the 23d, Park Bom shared a post on her personal account, saying "I'm anrgy, but I'm too lazy... So I just gave it a try. I hope everyone is happy♥"

She continued with claims such as, "Now that I think about it, YG never paid for any of my plastic surgeries. I paid for one or two myself," and added, "Even if I work hard by singing to death, I only break even."

Park Bom also claimed that advertising deals that were supposed to come to her never reached her and that her family was taken advantage of, but she deleted the post immediately after publishing it.

Recently, Park Bom sparked controversy by declaring she intended to sue Yang Hyunsuk. Regarding the lawsuit letter that detailed the damages she suffered from, her agency D-Nation released an official statement on the 23rd saying, "All financial settlements related to Park Bom's 2NE1 activities have been completed. The lawsuit posted on her social media has not been officially submitted."

Park Bom, who has halted all activities to focus on treatment and recovery, was also recently involved in allegations of pet abuse. This was because she posted a photo of her dog with lipstick applied around its mouth. Netizens expressed concern for both Park Bom and the dog, and the post was soon deleted as well.

1. [+57][-0] How could the company have paid for plastic surgery when things were already that bad? What on earth have her family been doing to let her schizophrenia get to this point... It's heartbreaking

2. [+53][-1] She's the first celebrity I've ever genuinely worried about.

3. [+8][-0] You were the prettiest one... Why did you get plastic surgery?

4. [+8][-1] Think about it, y'all... It's not like she has no one around her. I'm sure she must be going to the hospital to. In the end, it's her own will.

5. [+8][-0] Honestly, it's usually best not to worry about celebrities, but still...

6. [+6][-0] She really needs to see a psychiatrist.

7. [+6][-0] I'm genuinely worried.

8. [+5][-0] If her schizophrenia is still in the early stage, she should get a treatment as soon as possible... If she misses the timing, it can deteriorate her brain structure and makes it impossible for her to return to normal life.

9. [+5][-1] Shouldn't she be hospitalized?

10. [+4][-0] Does she not have any family?
